Hey Justin, actually this mark 85 is an old figure pre- Mark III, but this figure is what get me into collecting ZD toys, I heard ZD gonna remake this Mark85 to a more premium one like the current line
Was waiting for this review Justin. The Iron Man MK85 looks absolutely incredible for a 1/10th scale figure! The paint applications are fantastic with the cherry red and gold, unlike the Marvel legends version, and ZD Toys have nailed it with the proportions. Overall, in my opinion, this figure looks like a mini Hot toys figure.
Rinzler would've been a cool hot toys figure. Sadly, they didn't make him in figure format and I doubt that Hot Toys will do the character in the future.

They made a 2.0 with more stuff such as 1 laser cannon a infinity gantlet for his arm a waist bracket a nano broad sword a nano short sword his holo shield 2 double edged swords 2 of those nano gun things (the ones he aims at Drax face in infinity war) 4 hands and 4 flame effects
This looks great, but those shoulder pads being attached to the shoulder and not at the arm is the worst way to do it. It looks terrible when the arm is extended forward
I think this figure is worth the money. He's better than marvel legends(except the one with both iron man and thanos)and looking at the price point even sh figuarts .🤑🤑👌
re the scale/size question, 1/10 is my favourite scale, trying to cut down my whole collection as much as i can to just that scale, so im fine with that for these too, the only thing stopping me going and getting all of them now is that lack of light function in some of them...... and money, theres that too..
If im not wrong, there is a light up version for mark 3. The creator of the toy purposely make it translucent on the arc and eye is so he can experiment it with light up
The gold in this one is more accurate than the Hot Toys one. Granted the HT one has more details and higher product quality, just a bit triggered on the gold.
Hi Justin! It makes sense that you would go ahead and pick up the rest of the figures in this series. The box is really nice and the overall presentation is nice with the images of the 85 along with the group photo of the Avengers. He’s a great looking figure and along with the accessories it’s a nice set. You are right, there isn’t a whole lot but that display base is nice and the lighting up feature I’m sure will look fantastic! The refocuser looks great abd that paint job to make it look like the lights are on is ideal and looks really good. Can’t wait to see what this figure will look like on the light box… And just standing up the figure looks wonderful and the red abd gold are nicely done. The Arc reactor looks great, it has a translucent quality to it and is it reflective? The red and gold do look metallic, I thought this figure was made out of metal! The difference between the 4 is noticeable in the arc reactor. That shoulder pad detail makes sense so you can pose the figure, Ironman has to be poseable and it looks like the refocusor along with being able to move the arms and pose the figure is incredible. The 85 suit looks and seems to feel more streamlined. I agree the iron man figures should be taller, it’s a suit that fits over the wearer so it should be taller. Thanks for the video 😊💎
Try picking up the marvel legends modular iron man and comic war machine..It might get you interested in marvel legends ...Not the old ones ..But the new things they are doing with pinless joints like imports on a domestic company

Very nice figure. I have one but dont dare to play with it too much since the paint do chip off near the neck and joints area. But for the look.. As long I don't pose the arm up, this is a very nice figure mainly when standing inside an armor box
If only they do the shoulder pad justice like how they did Mk50, damn i'd get this one compare to the older armor marks. The paint job is just so well done. Too bad. I hope with the success of Mk 50 they reissue this armor with better packagjng and better shoulder articulation. 🙏🙏🙏 i'm hopeful. I personally like this armor compare to Mk50

I really want to pick this one up given the price point is on par with the Legends line. Plus the detail and design of the figure is exceptional. And you gotta love the accessories it comes with. It's just the shoulder pads that throw me off but other than that, the figure is really awesome. I am waiting on the reissue with additional weapons and hopefully they fix the shoulder pads.
