This was interesting to see done. I was pretty confident of the route that Fire would use from the start as when I played casually that route seemed to be pretty effective in taking down most enemies.
The Castle Paths are completely random crystals but are set as soon as you enter the castle. You need to safety save before entering the castle if you want any consistency in Act 4, but tbh it's probably faster to just catch & use a Fangmon & evolve your Betamon into Seadramon sometime during Act 3, as they counter Monzaemon
What a madlad. I love this game, also got softlocked on the opening cutscene on launch day. It kinda sucks you can't do true ending on new game where the battles would actually be difficult due to low level, that'd be a mess to route I'd bet.

I played through this game recently and it was a lot of fun, glad to see the speedrun of it being showcased!

I didn't know agumon digivolve into 1/3 random in the first boss. I though it was always taranamon
It depends on which of your Karma types is the highest (afaik)! Moral/Morale = Greymon, Harmony = Tyrannomon, and Wrath/Wrathfulness = Tuskmon.
