My store is going great by the way. 100 in my store. listing 5-10 a day. Selling a consistent average of 2-4 a day. 5 yesterday. It's working! I'm accepting lots of offers to get action. It's my first month consistently listing everyday (started Nov 1st) I've made $1000 so far.
Just wanted to drop a comment and say thanks, I'm sharing this entire playlist with a friend instead of sharing random tips and tools as he goes. This playlist is extremely instructive 👍🏻👍🏻
I'm definitely going to join the master class. I'm just taking full time business/marketing at College of the Redwoods right now and want to be all in and focused with you & tech. I'm so freaking excited. Reselling is my life and has been but now I have a formula and a guide! Thank you so much. Just registered my name everywhere online & got my LLC, ResaleKingz. I got this sweet ass name I gotta live up to cuz you & tech are the true ResaleKingz.
Great video and yes the recycling older boxes really does work. In my house we have a lot of older boxes and packing materials ranging from a few days old to maybe a few weeks depending on what I feel I need. I also picked up a trick from another seller as he would use the bubble wrap post office envelopes put the item in those and just put that envelop in a generic plastic envelope with the label. This has helped me keep a budget the only thing I have been spending money on is usually the packing tape and maybe some paper for labels.
don't buy anything unless your rich just use what you have I use a wood table or a piece of cardboard works great I also have an older Iphone I use natural light.
What's the best inventory storage system for a smaller store under 500 at home? I have two racks each holding 16 (10"x 10"x 24") boxes. 24 boxes total. Each box holds 12+ pieces. Idk what numbering to use while I'm small.
This is going to be long but right now I’m all over the place with everything reselling. I’m taking the next few days to organize all my stuff I don’t have listed & the stuff I do have listed and start an inventory system. Since I started I’ve listed 45 things on 5 different platforms, sold 15 on EBay, 5 on Facebook, & 4 on other platforms. My total profit is $388 with an average sale price of $16. Once I get organized within a few days I plan to take 1 hour a day to list 10 items (for now). My questions for you knowing the little bit of info… should I join your membership group yet? Should I crosspost? I realized I’m working way too slow, taking way too much time researching etc.. All my inventory is free right now so I plan to niche down within 6 months. But because I’m not selling the same things I have to learn about shipping the items, how to clean them, what pictures to take for each item. I have 3 toddlers so it’s really hard but I know I can do it. Idk I’m on a rant now. Thanks for your videos, I’m going to watch all of them. ADHD and reselling is ahhh but no more videos while I’m trying to work either. I appreciate how knowledgeable you are and straight forward.
I commented on the wrong video. I meant to comment on the video about new resellers the podcast one. But since I’m here also I’m really conflicted because people like hairy tornado etc.. don’t have a niche. There is so much that goes into reselling.
You will get faster as that always comes with experience. An “everything” store is hard at first but most of us start out that way. The one thing that I did was to track the money I was making per hour instead of trying to be a speed demon. My personal goal was to make at least $40 per hour net profit (before taxes but after all expenses). The more profit I make for an item the longer I can take to research it and list it properly and I can spend more time with the shipping. Niching down really speeds up everything and makes things easier for the most part but an “everything” store can be fun and it can be small and still make you $100 a day in net profit with less than 16 hours of work per week. My own numbers is that it takes 6 minutes for photos and listing and storing away. It takes 12 minutes to source an item whether it is at the store or on the back 40 acres in a shed that I own. The bottom line is that I can move about 3 items per hour in an “everything” store from sourcing to shipping. That may not sound too good but if I make $15 net profit per item then that is $45 per hour. I really try to sell an item within 100 days of listing it. Don’t over complicate it. All the principles are the same rather you are niched down or not. Just being in a niche solves your packaging and shipping problems and your price research is already done as well as knowing where to source. It is much faster but net profit per item may be lower so you have to sell more and list more items. Keep on keeping on!
I like your terminology …”some dude’s house look”. 😂 I’ve been deleting the background because I understood that to be beneficial for Google searches. Is there a reference where eBay says not to do a white background on photos?
Man i cant keep up with the sales vs listing. This weekend i sold 27 items but ive only listed about 10 items. I did however paused my coupon and did a 20% off markdown sale for black friday in my store. That helped tremondously.
Very nice set up :) I use an iPhone 11 Pro Max for photos and eBay has a feature that lets you take photos from your phone to your desktop listing instantly. It’s an amazing feature I’ve been loving. Are there any cons to doing this versus the point & shoot camera you suggested? 🤔
I have been checking into getting a Macbook, but didn't know if Air or Pro. I know they have some on Best Buy now for $799 for the 13.3". What size laptop to you use?
I hope you are taking all the pictures first, because if you do one at a time and have to go sit at the computer. It's no way it can be faster than the phone.

“I’m moving towards the some dude’s house look” 😂😂😂 I laughed so hard, I literally spit out my water 😂

Do you have any questions you want me to address during this master class?
A video dedicated to sourcing would be great
@@devinuchiwa3416 sounds good, we have a dedicated video in our group for local sourcing help. Https://www.patreon.com/theresellerspodcast
How long before you markdown inventory? 30 days, 90 days?

That was supposed to be 32 total. Math

It’s from @technsports
Great value thanks for sharing Chris!
Glad it was helpful!
Very helpful thank you
Glad it was helpful!
I spoke to Ebay last week and was advised a white background, that was the Dublin office.
Neutral background is the new advice

Just slower.

I use a 15”, but it’s overkill for ebay
@@dailyrefinement so the 13.3 would be fine? I was checking the Mac Pro but it is twice the price.
I love the treadmill. Business owners need to keep themselves healthy.

It’s more than twice as fast. All the pics, all the listings.
