    Really, the Kodiak is far above anything on this list, it is a true 4 season tent, canvas lasts for years of durable use, poles/canvas/lines can take high winds that could blow others away, literally. No, I don't get paid for a review. :))

      @@mmo8988 I've got mine on order and should be here in a week...... meanwhile I have been using my Kodiak Canvas 10x14 flexbow.
      Kodiak Canvas really blows all these tents out of the water 💦🌊

      Yes, myself and friends do a lot of Texas surf fishing, we have tried all the truck tents bed available and none were able to stand up to our tough weather conditions...Except the Kodiak! An excellent and professionally build for those who really know the outdoors!
      60 mph coastal torrential rain and 7 inches of snow in the hill country. The kodiak truck bed tent is the best in the market for the serious outdoors. That's a fact!

      You get what you Pay for, For Over $700.00 I Guess it Is, No Thanks, I Live on a Fixed Income and $700.00 for a Tent is just TOO Far Out of Reach for me, I'll Stick with my Napier.

    Kodiak is the best by far! I have had mine for two years and been through all types of weather with zero issues. Don't buy a truck tent unless it cups over the tail gate.....Trust me.

    Do any of these work over the large “hips” at the back of the Toyota Tacoma bed? We purchased one and it was so tight the stitching was under extreme tension and the zipper didn’t work right.

    Bought the Napier years ago... used it a couple of times but the novelty of setup/teardown lasted only a couple of camp grounds before I went back to $40 Motel 6s 😁 maybe a good backup but it didn’t breath when it was HOT 🥵 and didn’t insult when it was cold 🥶 so I had to run the trick heater... that costs more than a cheap hotel! Also, the inflatable mattress was a pain to find a power source to inflate and difficult to deflate the next day... setup/teardown taking a good HOUR each way...
    Vs Checking out!

    Can those tents stand safe in strong wind?

    • @goOutdoorZone
      @goOutdoorZone  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, that depends on how strong the wind is. Most of them can withstand heavy wind btw.

      My Napier has withstood 20 to 45 winds thur the night. Flaps are a bit noisy but the tent handled it well.

    The second one, Righttime, shows some kind of weird interior for a truck - it flows through to the seatbacks! Wtf is going on?

    • @michaelhart7431
      @michaelhart7431 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honda Ridgeline, the back of the “cab” folds down increasing bed capacity. It’s more of a car with a lift and AWD.

    • @stephenpowstinger733
      @stephenpowstinger733 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is false. There is not trap door to the back set. There is only a storage compartment below the bed and back seats that fold up.

    5.6 inches of headroom? Ya narrator said that on the last tent specs. Ya might wanna make the effort to be accurate if you want to keep subs. Is it too much for people to do their jobs seriously anymore?

    Not one of these truck tents have a door with a screen door integrated into it. I live in Wisconsin & our Mosquitoes are the size of small airplanes. Why wouldn't any of them, & some are very expensive, have a mesh screen door along with the rain proof main door. Do u folks camp at all ?

The reviews are also promising. Given the fact that it costs twice as much as others I'd think this one has quality, I'm an avid camper/overlander hopefully I'll get back with a good experience with this one. The Kodiak that is
