    I noticed that your arc is placed low because of your tv console. I also have a similar setup (no arc yet) and am wondering what the experience is like to have the arc placed low. Can you distinguish the upfiring speakers from the left, right and center ones? How high is your ceiling and how far is your main listening position? I've watched Peter Pee's video in regards to the arc placement. However, since we have a similar setup, I'm interested in your experience. Thanks.

      Hey Peewee I hadn’t forgotten about this request. I needed to keep a comment off it so I wouldn’t forget to reply and it too me a while to get the measurements.
      The bar is 2m/ 6.65ft from the ceiling and 2.5m/ 8.2ft from my listening position. I would say overall it’s easy to tell the difference between left right and centre speakers and with the height added in it gives a great overall soundstage. However I will say that the upward firing speakers don’t necessarily feel like they are literally giving you sound from above your head regardless of how I angle the speakers or increase the height channel. I think this is something I could fine tune but haven’t been successful so far so don’t expect full surround with just the bar on its own.

    How do you connect them all? Xbox to soundbar first or Xbox to TV?

    • @LovingTechLife

      Hey Suryo! You connect the Xbox to the TV and you connect the sound bar to the HDMI eArc or Arc port of your TV. Sound his past from the Xbox through the TV to the sound bar. Hope this helps.

    If using Dolby Atmos for Headphones, what setting should you use in-game? Some games have headset option, surround sound, 5.1 and 7.1

I want to purchase a Beats Fit Pro for my job and sport but I need to know if they works with the Xbox Series X with a Bluetooth dongle attached and I will have a pure Dolby Atmos trought it or maybe I will lost all the encoding in the bluetooh/dongle a I'll only recieve stereo. Hey Randy! Xbox goes to the TV and separately the Sonos Arc goes to the TV. This uses two HDMI ports on the TV. Ideally the soundbar is connected to an eArc HDMI port. Does this make sense?

      Hey CursedMonkey! I have a Rig 800 headset that supports Atmos. There is a dongle that attaches to USB on the Xbox so if I’m using the headset then that stays plugged in. If I want Atmos for the Sonos Arc I unplug the headset dongle so it switches from headset Atmos to the tv/Sonos Atmos over HDMI. Does that help?

    • @LovingTechLife
      @LovingTechLife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey @mortenandersen5096! Can be different reasons for this but try these from top down and see if any of these help:
      - Check TV audio settings first and look for output delay REDUCTION capability and set to passthrough manually.
      - Check HDMI delay through TV settings (self diag on Sammy)
      - disable/enable cycle CEC on the Xbox
      - power everything off(unplug), break all HDMI port connections, and wait 5 min,
      Power everything on, wait 5 min.
      - Ensure CEC and input signal plus on Sammy TVs (or LG equivalent) is enabled Reconnect HDMI to Audio receiver then to TV
      - Disable and re-enable eARC in TV menu and then select passthrough
      - Reconnect external HDMI to TV then reconnect to Xbox.
      Check audio.

    • @nureinknuddeln8419
      @nureinknuddeln8419 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I mean, it depends. If your soundbar is going to do a better job with decoding ATMOS data then probably yes. Personally I think it’s better to pass through audio. I also have soundbar from Samsung and I pass through when watching blu ray Movie with ATMOS and Dolby True HD. You need to test it yourself while watching movie. + in settings you should find blu ray and enable pass through also there. Recently I watched Batman 2008 and for the first time I have enabled pass though and chose Dolby Digital bitstream on Audio Output settings. It worked better than Dolby ATMOS for Home Theater.
      Cheers.

      Have you tried running your Xbox direct to the soundbar? I had same problem. I ran the hdmi from Xbox into the in socket on soundbar then connected the soundbar by the eARC to my eARC hdmi on tv. Now atmos and DTSX work on my Xbox without any delays.
      Also you will need hdmi 2.1 high speed cables.
      My Xbox sX sometimes will not recognise my tv’s 4k capabilities but cycling the tv’s CEC/HDMI advanced setting sorts everything out.
      Hope this helps as it seems a common issue getting the Xbox to recognise atmos supported soundbars.
