Wow good work!! My 2096 mini cooper non S model doesn’t start. It’s cranks fuel pump work fuel is interning but no sprayer. No spark Ethier. Mechanic says no power to fuse F5 going to the EWS how is this? Please help what can I do? My Wes needs a bypass or coding it’s not recognized with the car I bought a used BWS EWS and computer but from difrent year car I have an 06 I got a used 02 ews vcw and ecu do you think it will work?
Hi, I'm guessing you would also need to swap the barrel in the door if the central locking didn't work? Do you you know how you could get the remote central locking to work? Cheers

I'm sorry to ask because this is the first video I've watched from you...why are you replacing everything when the cylinder is bad. Sell the stuff in the box(key/ecu/bcm. And use that money to fix the cylinder 🤔
This is just to show people that you can replace the whole kit and the car will work without programing, nothing else mate, it might not be useful to you but will be for others. the stuff in the box is already gone...
@@DaringBeefcake Thanks. It came out well as someone else had already removed it on a previous occasion and simply used M10 nuts to refit the EWS in place.

How did you managed to remove the fixing nuts off the ews module?
I used a 10mm socket and pressed it while turning. They were not tight at all. Once lose they just unwind with your hand.
