Clone Wars had tons of war. THE Clone Wars on the other hand basically had no war at all considering the first season alone has 4 times more footage than the entire micro series. Additionally Clone Wars gave us seens like Anakin becoming a Jedi knight and the chancelor being kidnapped wich is why I prefer Clone Wars over The Clone Wars.

From Mace Windu punching an entire army of battle droids, to droids and Clones using lances (which makes about as much sense as Capital ships catapulting rocks at eachother). Did they run out of ammo, or did they just decide jousting will solve the conflict? 😂 I like both shows, don't get me wrong, but I think it's fair to say TCW needs more war, while CW has... well, a crazy war 😂😂😂
CIS battle ships had shielding concentrated near the bridge and engines to help cut costs and the CIS navy functioned a lot like the Russian army just throwing a lot of average ships against a superior enemy
0:37 I'm impressed that those point defense cannons were powerful enough to damage the breakaway frigate and one of the few times these cannons were shown in the series the only thing that bothers me is that sometimes they forget to activate the shield during the battle
Yeah in that scene they wanted to get destroyed but in other scenes like in s2 when anakins venator destroyed multiple ships from Cad Bane with easy it made no sense
@@johnlanderglea6120 A venator positioned properly and with its fighters launched, can take on 4-6 munificents at the same time with a good crew and captain. It’s shield strength is almost 3x stronger, and it’s weapons and fighter compliment outgun them severely.

The battle of Lola Sayu is one of my favourites. The fact four jedi led the smash and grab was awesome. Also, it shows just how much of a flier Saesee Tiin was (man was a starfighter ace in legends). The final evacuation remains one of my favourite gunship flights in the clone wars, second only to the Wolfpack rescue on Felucia.
The ship, the Gonzati is like the Z-95 and the Y-wing, very versatile and reliable. So the Empire bought a modified design of the Gonzati to serve as backwater patrol.
Those CIS ships all had great observation transparency steel windows on their bridges and only droids in charge of those ships. The republic had bad observation ports. Ships full of humans. Go figure.

No, the main fleets had 100s of ships, the ones we see in battle are typical planetary fleets, if you want to see all the cis vs all the republic look at the battle of coruscant
