Mine just shipped from Sideshow, can't wait as this is a significant improvement over the previous DX, which I also have. I'm a little saddened that they took away the LED lights from the base on this newer version.

Same for me. I couldn't pull the trigger on the Hong Kong drop and pay $500.00 . Not that i havent paid markup before, I'm just in no rush. I have the 1/4 scale HT TDK already, so no pressure. I'll suffer sideshow :)

figure looks amazing and your camera brings it to life. does anyone think the batman begins figure will end up having more changes than the initial prototype pictures?
I really wanna get this and knowing that he doesn’t really sit well on the bat pod is a bummer but now I don’t have the need to have it cuz wow the figure on its own is amazing ! So Hot Toys make a Bat Pod, but they don't make a wired cape to have his cape flowing in the wind as he rides it? And this costs how much? LOL. And don't they know that this Batman especially, is known for gliding with his cape. And there's the fact the painting on the accessories is underwhelming. And that the grappling gun doesnt attach securely onto the utility belt. So even though the hot toys has some nice ideas, its not the definitive version, which it could have been. A strong argument can be made for the SH figuarts being better.
If you do kitbash a Bruce Wayne, I recommend getting the Poptoys X33 suit. I recently got it and it's really good. Downside is that it has hooks instead of buttons to seal the shirt and waist jacket which tend to pop out.

Can you use the sonar cowl for the last pose (that way you'd have the white sonar eyes instead of human eyes). Cannot wait to get mine (it'll be a while since I ordered from SS).
