It's used on single pilot aircraft and it's part of their SOPs. I was thinking about the same guys. Only one I've seen/known using it ! 😉
@@Firemax2a Search "Zehr Air" here in TH-cam. He has similar device on his Pilatus Porter.
If you look up Missionary Bush Pilot on TH-cam, he flies the Kodiak in Papua NG and uses the checklist box

I am missing the wood panel, I thought it was a different livery, but no, I don’t get the wood panel like you … is that another mod?
Nice Cessna but, what we all want from Carenado is a new Chinese Spy Balloon and take it to the yearly "Spy 'n Fly".
You have to click the button on the tablet in the right door pocket. So it does work. I use this plane as my default GA. its amazing.
Lol it was very frustrating to watch coming so close to the ON button but missing it ;)
I like the videos where you just look at something for the first time and let your enthusiasm spill out.
Missionary pilot on youtube uses that checklist box as a religion. And link to purchase one is available on his channel. Too cool
I think he actually invented it. He sells them himself.
The switch box checklist is sold by Missionary Bush Pilot. Got one, use it for sim, it's a cool touch to the immersion. The mod is pretty nice, thanks for sharing!
Wow this mod is AMAZING! Such high quality assets inside the plane when choosing camping stuff as cargo, and this half-wooden panel is a true beauty. Looks like the luxurious deluxe Skyhawk! If only the engine cover was removable to toy around a little bit with oil quantity, spark plugs, and propeller design - it is easy possible to bring this default Cessna to Airfoillabs C172 quality ;)
Hopefully it includes the latest asobo 172 flight model with prop physics etc...
At 10:40, the tablet can be displayed by pushing the power button on the side near the upper right.
the dash mounted checklist / switch box is available for real from Ryan who runs Missionary Bush Pilot YT channel.
You can use the tablet on the right side of the cockpit. just click on the little button on the side of the tablet
I had a blast with this addon today ,flew several jobs on onair company and I coupled it with pilot2atc with real chatter on and fsltl all in vr just so beautiful and realistic especially you can now play along and load/unload cargo and change configurations before and after flight. Then finish by tieing down the plane and covering it. I hope he makes one for the Kodiak or at the very least the grand caravan

Lol I was just about to say the same (Missionary Bush Pilot, small correction there, haha). Great footage of him flying around those scary mountains and jungles in Papua New Guinea. Went to PNG many, many, many years ago as a innocent 17 yr old.
This and the 152 are fantastic mods/upgrades.
How do you get the Wood Interior ??
Check out "Missionary Bush Pilot" he flyies a 208 with a real world check-box like that.
Thanks for the heads up! I was looking for something that flies as well as the JPLogistics 152 which now with v2 seems incredibly good. This seems like a good option !

how in the world do you install this i can't seem to get it to work i put it in my community folder and nothing is in my game still the same 172

This mod looks really great but can’t get it to work. I think it is because I have the Reim’s Rocket loaded. That mod is nearly identical to this one except for the VFR map. The Rocket doesn’t have that or the cargo.
I wish they would do the same for the Classic 172.

Great mod. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Only nit is I find the tablet too far to the right. Is there any way to re-position it within the cockpit?

How do I get this to show up on the sim? I got the 152 add on put it in the community folder it shows in the sim on the content manager but it does not show up in the aircraft list.

Yes, all G1000 planes get the update; it’s the default now.
