      Maybe but i believe its more like a simple equation drawn out to take up a whole page. The illusion of complexity. Boiled down to the basics we all run on the same algorithm designed to copy it self.

      Seems the difference between general relativity and quantum mechanics is the fourth dimension: time. Gravity affects time.
      Like when an observer sees someone frozen in time at the event horizon of a black hole. Seems that one electron theory has truth in it but maybe we have to go beyond just an electron to the planck scale etc.

    Hi thoughty2! When I was in college as an undergrad, I found that there are lengths with no width or height all around us in plain sight! It was because I was just beginning to study The founder of geometry who described a line as a breathless length. An example is the line created by two contrasting colors (straight or not) and the length is their difference. There is no width, space, or height on a two dimensional image with two contrasting colors. The edge of each color along the other has no space between them, so there it is a length with no other measurement but length. It could be the side of a building and the sky behind it to create this line. Again, no space between the side of the building and the color of the sky next to it. I hope this makes sense but I thought it was an interesting idea, showing what I didn’t think I could even comprehend initially. Love your show my man!

    People are so busy asking why questions, being content with how answers which are never the ultimate answer, seen the 'how' answers people settle for are the most obvious of the infinity of others they get.
    just pick the one which is matching with your goal.
    THE MOST OBVIOUS IS NEVER THE ANSWER, it serves as a transistor, resisting you from receiving what you're looking for, this doesn't mean that it's a force, it's just present.
    once you know its purpose, use it as a revolving door to your envisioned outcome.

Although we can find some common characteristics of life (such as having cells, DNA or RNA as a source of genetic information or undergoing evolution), we can find exceptions to these rules (i recently made a video about this). Quite a few researcher have now started to redefine life by starting to build cells from scratch or making minimal organisms which only contain necessary genes!

    • @egonieser
      @egonieser 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Not much. Science back then was based on observation and speculation more than hard maths and calculations. Both Einstein and Newton would hardly comprehend the complexities of modern day physics nor would acknowledge it. Einstein probably would, in time when he's cought up with a century of scientific advances (which have advanced more in last 3 decades than previous millenia of human history combined), but Newton's time is far too distant. While humanity might seem to be going backwards in many aspects, in science and technology we are making unprecedented strides at such extreme pace that one year equates to decades if not centuries of historical advances. Computers have accelerated science, physics, technology and general understanding of most things thousandfold.
      But credit must be given to the aforementioned founding fathers of the concepts. Their theories, while heavily flawed, did kickstart it all but they would not be considered geniuses by modern standards as even a mere college student studying physics has a much deeper and comprehensive knowledge of how things work than einstein and newton combined.
      Anyway, rambling aside, my point was. The further back in time you go, there's less chances of convincing anyone that they are wrong as they have very limited understanding of the world so Newton would look at Einstein like he's some deranged madman spouting things and words he's never heard of.

    If there is a question regarding our existence, it’s only because we have chosen to question it. If we couldn’t question our own existence, who would? We boggle our own minds, then blame it on the mysteries that we have conceived. It’s similar to how some would claim that mankind is insignificant to the universe, meanwhile we are the universe’s sole source of “significance”, as we subjectively measure our man made concept of “significance”. This means that, objectively speaking, we are utterly significant. “Existence” (another concept) must be observed, meaning that nothing “exists” outside of our observational measurement.

We eventually grew trees, and grass etc....
    Which eventually made it possible to breathe. Plus our bodies mutated to survive and thrive. Watching this video just blew my mind. Everyone talks about how we are young but to me we are ancient and our history was lost because we had to leave so abruptly and Earth was super harsh at first, kinda like Mars and it took so long to become what it is today. Please try to be kind in the posts and comments. Just saying anything is possible and who knows maybe oneday we will all be on Mars and our history of Earth will be long gone. Especially when the sun expands. Anyways never really talked about my dreams/memories, scared to be teased and laughed at. But think about how old the universe is? Do you really think we are to young to have other life out there or is it that we are really ancient and times have changed. There is a fact that there are people out there who have had kinda the same thing as me. To me it's interesting. I think we have it all wrong. We aren't the babies they say we are. We are ancient and just evolved to what we are today. Who knows, anything is possible. And when I say dreams, they really aren't dreams. And it's consent. Especially lately. Just think about it, would explain why we really dunno where we came from. Make sense that we have lost our way. Anything is possible. I also have another theory. Whatever we did to ruin the other planet we were punished by a higher being. And Earth is a prison planet. We are stuck in this galaxy for whatever we did that was so horrific. Hence why we can't leave it. I have alot more to say but here is not the place. But seriously open your mind everyone, socmich is possible. If we really can't find proof here on Earth maybe it's cause rheyvsibr want us to know who we are and where we came from. Or it was lost many many many years ago. Once you open your mind, you can see and think clearer. 🤔anyways, gave a super awesome day everyone. 🙃

      im thinking more like "how" than "why" the why is simple...complicated as shit as to how it happened, but put simply as shit: molecules form more and more intricate strands, which end up creating life which is just a set of instructions on survival. conciousness is merely an illusion, everybody always chooses the best option they can come up with. the randomness is due to the way atoms/molecules work subatomically and build structures. also perception plays a KEY role in all of this, once we get to the stage where we can percieve what our actions will accomplish and what might be the repercussions then the best option becomes more and more ambiguous and based off of past experience more than anything. **EDIT** a good example would be the way molecules form and once formed continue to try to do so because it can guarantee the safety of the atom by being sandwiched in between a cushion of more atoms. almost like they have a form of memory as well.

    Think of space as a self sealing tire or a fabric that wants to stay together, matter puts a hole in that fabric, what we call gravity is space's attempt to rush in to patch that hole, to obtain cohesiveness/equilibrium. Gravity doesn't seem to affect the sub atomic particles like it does big stuff because fundamental particles are closest to the size of what space fabric is made of so their bond is super strong because space fabric has a much smaller hole to patch.

The problem is fresh water, while it does replenish over time, it’s not instant which is the problem. Earth isn’t running out of water and won’t be for a long time, we just need to make more and use less drinkable water, for example, use algae farms which can grow in saltwater to use less drinkable water for irrigation. And while the water is just a thin layer on earths surface, it still significantly outweighs all biomass on earth. And as someone else stated, if necessary, we can also use desalination.
