I completely agree on how the 2000s Al have the best holiday dolls. I just missed Barbie’s old faces. I actually HATE all the new Barbie face molds cause they look too child like Yknow? I mean the 2000s had very grown up looking face molds AND THEY WERE JUST THE PLAY LINE DOLLS TOO.

Growing up in the 2000s, I didn't know there were Holiday Barbies until 2007, and I fell in love with her.
And yes, they were very expensive and they were only available in stores like Liverpool or Palacio de Hierro (because yeah, sometimes Mexico sucks when it comes to the availability of the coolest Barbie dolls) and when I saw her at a toy store, I was so amazed by her gorgeous face, her magnificent dress and the design of the box blew me away!
One year later in 2008, I saw the special feature on the "Barbie in a Christmas Carol" DVD, and there she was... 2008 Happy Holidays Barbie doll!
I wanted to get her so bad, but I didn't see her anywhere.
Fortunately, several years later (in early 2016 to be exact...), My Dad gave me the 2007 Holiday Barbie and I was so excited! I finally received her, and she's so special to me because my Dad gave her to me saying "sorry" for not letting me have her back in 2007 when I was 12 years old.
The sad part was that her box was very damaged on the inside because she were exposed to a very moist place, and I had to get her out of the box. I don't regret it because I finally had her on my hands!
And two years later, I finally got the 2008 Holiday Barbie. She's mint in box, and although I want to get her out so bad, I don't do it because after watching the special feature on the Barbie DVD back in 2008, I saw the whole design process of her, and I really love the design of the box.
That barbie was made in the year I was born 😩😩😩😩❤❤❤❤💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻
OH MY GOSH YES I ACTUALLY REMEMBER HAVING THIS ONE! She was always so pretty and the dress was everything to me when I had her. No idea where she is now.
I owned a lot of the late 90s/early 2000s Barbies they were fabulous

Wow I had no idea that they would sew the dolls into their dresses at one point. It's a shame these holiday Barbie's are plain cheap now days. I wish they would spend a little more time and money on them or even reboot the line and make them really fancy Silkstone dolls.

This was my first Holiday Barbie, I got her from a consignment shop when I was young! I played with her and unfortunately lost the hair poof 😅 One day I'll be brave enough to redo her hair like this..!
I also got 2009, 2010, and 2013 (but I hated the quality/feel of 2013's dress so I gave her to my friend LMAOO) 2008 Holiday Barbie was my grail for the longesttt time and I finally got her a couple years ago 😭 She is the only doll I will keep in her box
i know this is late so no one will ever see this but while I didnt have these doll I do have fond memories of them as my older sister did, they are still in box on a shelf in her old room that became my room that became my moms craft room...so i saw them a lot growing up. She has 1998, 1999, doesnt have 2000 for some reason, then has 2001-2004. i was always partial to the 2001 myself :)
