After watching the series though, there's a few of them I'm skipping out on because of their personality. I love how you thrifted another violet dolls I’ll have to find a thrift store near me so I can try it some time. But I just wanted to let you know to NEVER take of a dolls head by holding the body and twisting it. That puts the dolls neck peg at high risk of breaking. Instead use your right hand to hold it by the dolls neck (firmly) then pull/maneuver the head off.💜🦄🌂
Yeah I typically don’t remove doll heads like I did here, but because this is a no neck articulation body the neck leg is like fused to the body x)! But 10000% agree with the method you provided :D

No problem! I enjoy washing dolls hehe! Plus I find washing their hair satisfying! Honestly I usually just wash and display. I try not to brush the hair dry, and if I do style it I spray it with a lil water!

For marks that can’t be removed via soap and water, I recommend a Mr.Clean Magic Eraser. It’s works better on doll plastic unlike Acetone which deteriorates the plastic (especially rubber), and I really removes pen and maybe paint transfer from another doll or clothes! I would not recommend using it on painted parts such as the face as it does remove some of it.

Just pour hot water while she have the plastic wrap on and the bangs will lay flat again, the water will make the roots stay that direction and the gel will be reactivated so it’ll be a winwin

I had I doll hair smell bruh trash and then I wash it 2 times and how hard I cut the dry parts so now it’s so soft the hair but I put cream for hair not like a soap cream cream cream and then I brush her hair and it’s soft
If you use tweezers and gently pull at the bangs they will come out and the longer hair stays. It takes forever but she looks better in my opinion
My friend gave me this doll it was an LOL doll hair was so messy it was like that messy when I saw on video for real try to fix it

Heating pads are your friend when you want to soften up a doll head without getting it wet. Bags have a tendency to spring leaks.
Get a heating pad, wrap up that head, and let it cook for about 5 minutes. Also works well on those hard ass Barbie Silkstone heads.
