healers dont want to play because they are stuck winning 0 rating 90% of the time with 3win 3loses because theres always 1 dps that goes 0-6 and he gets focused the entire game
Warrior runs in LoS burns all CDs into enemy teams wall. He's at 20% I dome and heal him, he runs out of the dome. I leap of faith him back, he doesn't let me top him off , leaps back into the battle I burn power word life and run in towards him to try and frantically heal him through a pillar. The warrior never leaves his target the entire match. I get over exposed and cc'ed and warrior dies. The lobby strategy is now "train the warrior" so the Warrior loses 5 rounds then quits.
Why do they always not get it when we leap of faith? 90% of the time they charge back … Im like … bro LOS for 2 seconds so I can top you off … god damn

as a healer main I can say this: I hate queing up for anything as a healer because we're treated like trash and are expected to keep 5 people alive and if your a healer who only has spells that can affect one person at a time it can make keeping people alive that much harder if your stuck with a bad team or even worse, a crappy tank who has no idea what their doing or gets way too cocky for their own good
Telling people to run away from your healer is very bad when the healer is a Preservation Evoker with a short range. Most of my games are lost because of this one thing. There should have been a caveat for that in the video
All this is great knowledge to have but Why play a healer and do 10% less healing and have damp start at 20% when you could just dps and not have your class nerfed for no reason?
Coming back from a little break I felt unrealistically confident. I'm sure I can do it this time. And, oh dear... When I watch these learning videos again, I remember there's a hundred mysterious little icons on the screen. I mean... I know I'm making all the mistakes mentioned in the video. The points are very good. But I am able to parse in real time maybe 2-3 indicators. There is _literally_ a hundred. After 20 years I may have to admit this game just isn't compatible with my brain =)

Just played with a warrior, the first two rounds he does not press a single defensive and dies miserably in the first few seconds. The rounds 3 to 5 are not this bad but still he doesn't press anything. Round 6, as he is told by everyone to press defensives, as soon as the gates open he takes a step in, pop all his defenseives, mount up then go into melee.
I'd love them to bring back non rated solo shuffle, would be a good way to practice between your hour long rated queues, also the last 3 SS I played as Ret at 1700 I went 3/6 getting no rating so I've just stopped to wait for the rework
Solo shuffle is the worst tilted arena I ever done . Rank 2300 as evoker and drop to 1600 in a matter of few minutes . Lobby disparity insane , especially with arena xp difference
I play rdruid healer since legion and I stopped at SL. The disgusting one shot meta isn t handable! Why would we heal and get shit on while dps have every thing
I only hate healing at times when the match goes far enough that both healers are completely oom in a 1.9mmr lobby. when i play mains at 2.6 matches are 90seconds tops usually. there are a lot of healers quing solo shuff that literally dont know their healing rotation at all and have awful throughput or try to hard to cc/land kills instead of healing
It not y'all fault its the game fault. I recognize the fact that most ppl cant stand LFG and can't find partners... and blizzard decided that the only game mode they'll add solo que to is the meme PvE zug zug weekly brawl instead of actual real 3s. Every healer chooses to play the game mode and have blizzard provide them their random teammates, instead of getting partners for real 3s which is infinitely easier as a healer. So when mistakes inevitably happen due to the lack of structure in the gutted version of 3s, we have no one to blame but ourselves for putting ourselves in that position in the first place. :)
I've been playing resto druid since S2, you couldn't pay me to heal in this expansion. Blizzard has always had a fetish for blink and you're dead gameplay, in this expansion it's combined with things like....stacking healing debuffs they didn't intend. Blizz keeps pushing out changes, that their QA can't keep up with, and healers are the ones taking it in the shorts because of it. Blizzard thinks long hard cast times + long CC chains and insane burst windows is fun gameplay? Enjoy your hour+ long ques, and I can only hope it gets worse, maybe someone at Blizzard will climb down off of the melee CC/burst wagon. You reap what you sow.
PvP in DF became a total garbage, 2vs2 bracket was killed for avarage players cause each camp 1600+ has player 2400+ exp this season & playing not meta class is a joke. I quit healing not only cause of dps players doing sh1t but cause of motivation when result in some matches predictable at start when there is 1 weak player it’s a 3-3 & 0 rating for healer , y sure sometimes healers have 0 rating for 4-2 cause of matchmaking but who cares. 1800 rating at 2vs2 is like a 2200+ atm. Even SL 1st season was a heaven in a comparison with this! Solo shuffle on healer making me cry! Played since classic, there was no season worth than this! Total failure!

@@alexnazirov9009 I think you forget that there are 6 rounds in a Solo Shuffle. This means that you get the same DPS on your team same as the other healer. Play better and you will climb. 2's has always been a filler bracket, the game is balanced around 3s. Blizz artificially inflating rating will make the game enjoyable for you? That makes zero sense.

You wonder why healers hate healer? I can deal with bad DPS, I can deal with being tunneled, what I refuse to deal with is being arbitrarily nerfed by X% out the get to and than for me to continue to be nerfed by an ever increasing % for the crime of doing my job, IE keeping people alive. RSS is nothing but a negative feedback loop for healers. Do good? Get nerfed. Power through it? Get nerfed more. Manage to go even? Still lose rating. Go positive with 4-2? Take home as much rating as the DPS going 2-4. RSS is literally designed to punish and abuse healer, not because of the DPS but because of the very design of RSS itself. Why in the hell would anyone want to do that if they are not a masochist who likes the abuse.
From what I've seen, the most common annoyance and issue is when your DPS runs AWAY from you thinking that will help. They LoS you from keeping them alive. You didn't even put this on the list lol.
Add automated lfg to arena and don't expect all the bad that plagues lfg is delusional. As a healer, I just enjoy my insta reque. The really bad part is RSS is killing rest arenas.
There is no learning curve sadly. "Get good" Wish you could practice before you join the real thing but the best you can hope for is nice people who don't mind that you're learning. I'm not even necessarily a beginner but I've only done bg's so far. Not arena or solo shuffle yet.

I'm 3 seasons deep into my rewatch of x-files (watching to compare Fringe to it) 3x24 eppys. I've gotten like 5 solo q pops the entire time. Fun game. We need to figure out stuff here; This video, while great, was sort of supposed to be what solo q would be about. For players to be able to get better at this game mode, so they could then go play structured 3s with other players and feel good//comfortable. 40 minute queues.... How is anyone who isn't a teenager//pro streamer supposed to play.... I seriously don't understand how it takes this team so long to figure out solutions to problems... Make it is so queuing as a healer gives you bonus shit and make that shit account wide (i.e conquest) so I can play the game, but then also can facilitate the actual character I want to. Fuck, you've stolen everything else from FFXIV this xpack, except for this, hurry up already. EDIT: OR make unranked solo q, and have that reward conquest.. people keep saying how alt friendly this thing is.... I disagree immensely. I was gone for a month to do other things with my life. Had some free time, logged in and i'm 4k conquest away from cap. I can basically run one solo q a night with the queue times, maybe two if I really want to no life it. Give me another reliable way to earn conquest. I don't understand how they're not trying anything at all to fix this shit show... you're better off not healing and playing dps and getting gladiator as a noob.... thats what i did. I've healed since vanilla but played dps for the first time this season. Couldn't get past 1400 as a healer I'm already around 2.8k as a first time assa rogue and arms warrior. GOOD GAME LOL
Ya blizz knows how the player base is and they make all these systems like this. It would be easy for blizz to fix these issues but blizz always trying to gate for subs. Same reason m+ is stupid. The player base need to call out blizz on these predatory practices.
Too late skill capped. Already lost me, a 1000+ game solo shuffle disc priest. In one day i went from zero rating to an equivalent rating of my SS just playing 3v3 pug groups. All while making friends and getting multiple teams to play with.

You will see some disturbing shit like zero kicks into poly, warrior and DH jumping behind enemy pillar and dying with all defensives unused, 10% HP monk rolling away from you and keep running instead of peeking for a heal, and those players blame healers too :)

If most of the healers stop queuing solo shuffle because it sucks to heal when dps dont use their stuff and just press all their burst until someone flops, its not all of the healers that are the problem. Same with women: if all the women reject you, maybe its not the women who are the problem but you. 😂 I play healer (not that high, around 2k mmr) and literally 95% of the games are a fucking clown fiesta.
Im not a fan or arena playstyle but im trying rss for the mount, Qs for my DPS is just not possible with my gametime so im giving healing a shot.....and nope! back to 35min Qs for DPS. theres is no way im healing that shitshow. and as soon as i get the mount then no more RSS or arenas for me. its just frustrating gameplay.

From a 2.4K healer. Dps Don’t kite around a pillar. ANY pillar ever. Mine yours theirs doesn’t matter. And locks don’t port if your about to die.
I've lost countless games to porting locks when I'm 0.05 seconds from topping them off
Don't port out of line if you are abt to die and healer can save you, same for piller kiting

Healers in SS are CD dispensers, once their CDs are gone the damp and healing reduction abilities make their healing completely useless.
Learn to kite and use defensives. You’re too dependent on big heals

:D have you healed SS yourself to look at things from a different perspective? You will see some disturbing shit like zero kicks into poly, warrior and DH jumping behind enemy pillar and dying with all defensives unused, 10% HP monk rolling away from you and keep running instead of peeking for a heal, and those players blame healers too :)
Suiciding warriors is a staple at this point.
But it’s somehow healers fault that they die while across the map behind a pillar

Watch the intro again. If most of the healers stop queuing solo shuffle because it sucks to heal when dps dont use their stuff and just press all their burst until someone flops, its not all of the healers that are the problem.

I play healer (not that high, around 2k mmr) and literally 95% of the games are a fucking clown fiesta.

Im not a fan or arena playstyle but im trying rss for the mount, Qs for my DPS is just not possible with my gametime so im giving healing a shot.....and nope! back to 35min Qs for DPS. theres is no way im healing that shitshow. and as soon as i get the mount then no more RSS or arenas for me. its just frustrating gameplay.
u can only play soloshufflewith disc or rdruid.
IF I had a dollar for every time a DPS stacked on me even tho I tell them not to I'd be a billionaire.
