Brittany Ferries PONT AVEN vlog

- Travelling from Portsmouth to St.Malo (Brittany, France) aboard Brittany Ferries PONT AVEN, the vessel was so awe-inspiring I simply had to make a vlog - my first TV presenting attempt.
Pont Aven has cruise-class facilities including balcony suites, a jaw dropping four deck high atrium with glass elevators, a split level bar, shopping centre, a range of dining options and even a swimming pool!
Why would you want to fly and be confined to a seat in cramped conditions?!
Normally operating the Plymouth UK to Roscoff France route, during the winter months Pont Aven operates to St Malo - a beautiful historic walled city encircling a maze of narrow streets filled with restaurants, bars and boutique shops - a long weekend break is truly like being on vacation.

Went on the pont aven when she was 1 month old for my 21st birthday in 2004 I’m nearly 40 now and still a really nice ship , been on mostly every Brittany ferries since 1987 when i had family holidays in France … I use to belong to the kids club and you use to be able to go on the bridge and meet the captains … how times have changed !Great memories and booze cruises over the years tho , seen the Normandie at the start of the video I remember when that came out too in 1992 , sadly these ferries now a days have very little personality or atmosphere not like the old days ,ships like the Bretagne , Normandie , barfleur , pont , the best ! I even miss the quiberon

I solo travel on ferries regularly, I don’t video but I guess I’ve allways had an interest in them as I was taken on holidays as a kid , I just did the Copenhagen/oslo dfds , and I want to go on the stena Europe to Rosslare before it gets scrapped haha . Cheers mate

I went on this ship from Plymouth-Santander at the end of August. Love this ship and had a great 20 hour crossing.

@@A2BviaSeaonTV The crossing was lovely the whole way. Sea was even more calmer when got into the Bay of Biscay and closer to Spain. Bay of Biscay was my worry as I know it can be very choppy, but thankfully it wasn’t. Was such a lovely arrival into Santander.

She primarily operates from Plymouth UK to Santander Spain and Ireland however, tends to do Portsmouth to Saint Malo every winter to cover the schedule for the refitting Bretagne.
