Hi everyone! Let me know what you think about align tools in the comments below! :)
so I've got an issue that I'm not sure how to fix. for a 3d print I cut up a helmet because my printers plate was too small. recently I upgraded to a larger print bed and now I want to remake the helmet. Now my question to you is can you align edges? say you used the bisect tool on a hollow sphere and sliced into 4 separate pieces is there a way to put that ball together again perfectly?
Short, precise, and to the point. I have found my new favorite youtube tutorial channel for blender. You sir, are awesome
To me, this align tool and the new snapping tool used together are real time savers. Thanks!!!
I didn't even know that was there! Thanks, and a really good demo of it, too.
this program makes literally everything difficult
Perfect explanation for me and i can learn further, thanks!
Sweet, this will save me a lot of Set Cursor to Origin, Selected to Cursor, jumping through hoops! Thanks Justin!
just what i needed. thanks!
Love the align tools! Good explanation.
Thanks for watching!
great tutorial video, thanks so much sir
Thank you very much, it makes things easier
I just love your tutorials sir. You deserve more views and subs. And also, your intro in every video, is damn cool and unique.
great tutorial
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Sir!
Where have you been 1.5 years of my 3D workflow! Brilliant! =) God bless You, Justin! =)))))))))))))))))
Lol :)
Thanks dude☺🖖
very usefull thanks for this sharing !
This is just what I've been looking for! I think they should add this to Blender.
Nice! I’ve been making do with the align in the Object/Transform menu. This one is so much better.
what ? lol your english is unreadable...what did you align where ? hahaha
@@blackswan6386 HA HA OMG What's funny here is you not me. Open up Blender, look at the top near the left. Underneath the layout tab you'll see the Object menu. Click on that and the first item is Transform. In that menu at the bottom is Align Objects.
Hello! Thank you very very... much. Greetings
Thank you sooo much! Why, in gods name, does Blender have important tools disabled under Addons?! Thank you for showing where this option to turn Align on actually is. Love you man. ❤
Woooo de muchisima ayuda Muchas gracias ❤
Nice vid just wondering is there a way to align them like 2 rows of 4 for example? so say I want to make a tiled room and I want each tile to be aligned so there is no gap?
is there a version of this for bones? i have so many meshes that are crooked and need a bone straightening.
Unfortunately, it does not include distribution tools. So I cannot evenly distribute the space between objects using this add on. I'm still looking for an easy way to accomplish that.
Lol - when if it did, it would be called "distribution tools" instead of "Align tools"
Will it align properly if I applied rotation origin point? How to fix broken origin with it?
Great explanation, but it seems that if you want to move something say to the minimum of one axes followed by the maximum of another axes, you have to click away from the objects to deselect them and select them again, choose your next alignment. In other words you cannot do more than one operation at the same time (plus you need to deselect/reselect before attempting the 2nd alignment). Unless you know of a way? :)
Would this work for distribution points?
I was looking for "align object to face". Any addon for that? Workflows I've seen are much too convoluted for such a needed function!
Nice, but they dropped the Oscurart distribute add-on, so I haven't found an easy alternative to that yet in v3+.
it's absolutely good for scene build, very simple, and useful for as a beginner as a pro, but I have an issue with settings, if I move him into Edit tab he will return to Item tab after a restart, that's annoying since all addons like it located there
I don't fully understand the issue you're having - you're saying you align objects, you go into edit mode, and when you leave edit mode the alignment is gone? I've not witnessed this issue
@@TheCGEssentials im talking about lacation of addon, by default its in "item" panel, but u can move it to "edit" panel through addon settings, but after blender restart it will be back at "item" panel
oh nice tip, but there are a way to it manually? My idea is to know how the program is doing the align.
Such a useful tool!
Anyone know of something that allows you to align vertices in the same way? Would make for much easier clean up of organic shapes
Can you just use snapping? th-cam.com/video/0p06F1LzTjQ/w-d-xo.html
when i select multiple and press align on x or z it does nothing
hey I'm in a bit of an emergency I hope you can help me, I'm really frustrated there's nothing online about this anywhere and I hate asking over on reddit those guys are Aholes... pretending too "teach others"
I tried you're method of aligning and I tried the old-school way here's the weird thing one of my objects goes invisible when it is joined with the other one (centered object). I cant for the life of me figure it out I've switched many options on and off and nothing works, weirdly enough if I go and move the object out of alignment manually to were I want it to go, it will not go invisible. this has to be a bug right? please.
👍🏼
:)
extra👍
Can you align them face to face? So they are touching
You should check out the CAD Transforms addon for that.
@@ConorFenlon thanks 😁
@@ThatPixelGuy You're very welcome. Happy Blending! :)
I'm literally having trouble selecting multiple objects at a time, help pls
I can't even align to planes on top of each other with this addon... this always happens to me.
very ussfull
too bad that it doesn't work with vertices
Aligning faces should be default.. Kinda crazy
nice tool but no distribute functionality, 2024
I FUCKING HATE BLENDER
