I love patchouli oil. The mustiness in the opening may turn-off some. It develops a fruity (over-ripe red apples) which is my favourite part. Patchouli goes well with rose too.

Before bed I use to apply 3-4 drop of it on my neck and shoulder, it's really calm ur sense and change the atmosphere around u. Once again I thx Perfume Guru for making such great videos. 🙏

I diffused Patchouli essential oil for the first time today and was blown away the dark, rich complexity. The first thing was came to my mind was it's resemblance to Oud. Can you please suggest some sellers to buy genuine Essential oils/attars from? Or at least a list of their prices? I got couple of neroli essential oil for 200-300 on Amazon and it straight away came across as synthetic. And upon reading more about it, I realised it's actually in thousands, if not lakhs. I know Nikhil Bhai will probably not have the time to reply, so if anybody else got any useful information, it will be really helpful.

I am a patchouli essential oil wearer and lover, I simply love the smell of patchouli oil, I've been wearing it as a perfume since 1973 (I was 10 years old), and my uncle gave me my first patchouli bottle (10 ml Spiritual Sky) and I got hooked, since then I wear patchouli oil as perfume just alternating it with my aftershaves and colognes, but patchouli oil is always in my wardrobe without fail.
Would love you to research and share your knowledge on the different chemicals used in perfumes. I can see even 5 AED clones of YSL, Tom ford etc in Dubai, but when checked online I could see many harmful chemicals including known carcinogens. I used to buy these cheap alternates as toilet freshners, but stopped now after this awakening. I think the community needs to know the real deal they r getting when buying these perfumes. And may be you can further emphasize on usage of natural perfumes, oils

Nikhil bhai, i tried the pachouli oil from s md ayub md yakub today. Frankly, I didn’t like the smell. Its too overpowering for me and it more on the side of bitter fragrance. I also tried the ruh khus as well and have not enjoyed that either. Layered both of them and the result was not good. I am hoping that it will be a growth journey for me to like them in some time. But this was my honest opinion about these two.
U r right I tried Patchouli attar before 1 day ago at smd ayub yakub ,mumbai. The smell is too hard, agar naya banda ise smell karega to wamit kardega😂.. Patchouli ki smell bitter hai jese koi room 1 saal se bandh hai or 1 saal bad room open kiya ho.

Bro, Adab. I m using Attar Royal Patchouli from Ajmal. It is not a pure oil, but attar. I think Sandalwood based. But great smell & performance. First I learnt about Patchouli because of u, after seeing your vedio about S MD Ayub MD Yakub. And then I bought Ajmal's. I love this frag. It is totally diff. from the usual Attars or Perfumes.
