Great video thank you for the one particular thing that I was looking for was how to replace the seal in the transmission the dust the dust seal when we took the axle shaft out of our car the dust seal was no good so we have to replace it but there's no room to get in there with a ball-peen hammer to get it started but in any case thanks for taking the time to put the video up
Don't know about anyone else but trying and staying with this guy is something else.... What's he taking about yeah u see this seal hear that's going to be the hardest part..... WHAT !!!!!!!!
Never done a transmission fluid change, 220k miles later no shifting issues. Trying to figure out how to take care of the wheel play, bushing clunk, and steering click. Not sure if changing the LCU, and tie rod end would suffice. The PTU has been replaced, and I baby that thing ever since.
On mine, there was a noticeable clunk every time I turned the wheel from left to right or vise versa, once it pasted middle, or straight. Not sure if you are having a similar problem, but it was my front strut mounts. The struts were fine, the mounts were failing. I decided just to get whole new assemblies since they were original on the vehicle and saw over 180k km. Get someone to turn the wheel left and right just past center and hold the coil, if it moves around and clunks then it might simply be your mount.
Wish you would not have edited the video where you put the inner cv joint back into the transmission/differential. Can you add any tips on how you got it back in?
Got to 8 min and 10 seconds and had to make this comment.... you were spot on about china....China..... look what's going on now. Can hardly get anything now days some stuff you have to wait months for.

califman2000 lol year later.... you rotate till gears line up
Ikr the only difficult step not in there smh
Ever seen anybody just zip on an axle nut with an air hammer. Those usually need to be torqued to so many foot pounds by hand.
And you never reuse an axle hub nut, ever!!
Is it possible a worn cv axle can cause a vehicle to make clunking sound when shifting from Drive to Reverse then later not to move?
No
@@leticiasantiago2707 thank you, it was my transmission ☹️
Hi what type of grease here are you using to put on spleen shaft with C Clip into transaxle transmission location???
Do you know if by taking axle shaft from the passenger side would i be able to rich for PTU ?
From Las Vegas?
how much of the trans fluid did u have to replace I'm about to do the same job
Not sure. I think I did a fluid change after this video.
you won't lose much fluid, just keep a clean bucket to catch the fluid. the guy that post this video did the job nice and quick. thanks
You can rent sockets from most auto parts stores.
Good video man, Thank you!

What fluid was leaking? The transmission fluid or transfer case fluid?
Is your cv axle still holding up?
still going strong
Fintech Repair Shop Great!! I'll just pick up a new one the remanufactured one only last for 3 months.
That front or rear?
Front
This ugh...
Yeah...
Then ugh....
Alright
Driver side is much easier than the right side. Driver side will just come right out. Not the passenger side.
Like watching the blair witch project.
You cannot hold a camera any better than stephen hawking could have caught a football.
Thanks.
Socket still the wrong size it should move like that on the nut. It's called a knuckle not an upper control arm
Shit dude.....where the hell are your work boots.....? Had to lose you man....freaked me out....!!@@@@@!!!
lol. I think he's saying this is a moderate repair that's too easy to bother with boots.
lol Yeah, if we piss off Chine auto parts may be much more expensive.
Yeah, are country is in trouble if china cuts us off.
China would be a 3rd world shithole without us, they aren't going to cut us off.
