Dermatologists say that shampooing your hair daily does not damage it- it's the styling that causes the damage So you could be washing once a week but styling daily and do more damage.

What do you do when you have 10 rows. I had short hair and pretty well every part of my head is covered except the very top
So I'm thinking about getting extensions but the lengths of my hair (thin, fine hair) get so oily if I use conditioner. Would this not be a problem with extensions cuz there's thicker hair and a lot more of it? I'm worried about my hair being so greasy due to the mask and the conditioner!!
My hair stylist told me to not clarify w my extensions in because it is drying. She clarifys when I see her every 6-8 weeks
thanks for sharing! I read somewhere that you should only use a quarter-sized of good quality shampoo. It seems like you're using a decent amount. I also tend to find that most salons do use a good amount of shampoo. What measurement would work best?
Yes usually they say to only use a quarter sized amount, because water activates the shampoo and helps move it all around. Here I probably used about a 1/2 dollar amount
Great video.I didn't know about the washing hair once a week thing! My hair gets dry and crunchy if I dont wash it eery other day, at east! Does that mean I cannot get extensions?
you absolutely can get extensions! make sure you’re keeping them and your real hair moisturized and protected. it’s actually recommended that you was your hair whenever you need to wash. for caucasian hair like the girl in the video, a well is often times too long to wait.
Why is her weft colored like that??
I assume it’s to blend into her natural roots but it’s not blended at all. Also the rest could be product build up, all the oil, etc.
The style is called ombré. The darker roots are left the darker for a lived in low maintenance effect.

What kind of extensions does she have? Is this like seewed in? Def no bondings or tapes... when du u recommend this type of extension? My stylist did not even mention this possibility of extensions...
Should I use all these every ten days when I wash my hair? Like the clarifying shampoo then regular shampoo? Or is the clarifying shampoo every once and awhile like the purple shampoo?
def use the clarify once a month, or when you feel a lot of build up!
What if you have super thin hair? My hair is almost paper thin. I hate it.

Question: I bought Maroccan oil as well for my extensions. However, I saw that it contains alcohol. Doesn't the alcohol dry out the hair?
my hair stylist said not to use maroccan oil products on extensions🤷🏼♀️

Purple shampoo doesnt dry out the hair any more than any other shampoo. What ingredient do you think is drying out the hair? People say it dries the hair because they leave it on way too long. Its just shampoo with direct dye basically.
I will never get hair extensions. Too much maintenance for me. This helped me make a wise decision.

It looks awful when we have stained skin and nails if we don't 😊 some purple shampoos stain your skin so bad. Imagine you are a blond specialist how much your hands would absorb every day.
