As a lifelong gamer, why does a game coming to multiple platforms piss you off? The healthier the player base the better the game. If people prefer playing on PS of Xbox so be it, as long as we can still all game together there shouldnt be any issues.

That really depends, you can earn enough through the rewards program to keep up Gamepass Ultimate without spending a dime. All it takes is a few minutes a day.
I live in Canada and easily earn enough MS Rewards points to have GP free (and it's heavily nerfed here). When Game Pass first launched I upgraded my existing Live to GP for $1, then I started earning MS Rewards and haven't paid anything since. I have just shy of 3 years of GP left on my account and another 68000 points.

Yes and No. You can make an argument than it is free and an argument that its not. According to the "for free", a good argument would be: I am paying the same price for all these games and this new game gets added with no effect to what I was doing. I didn't pay for it. It just popped in and now I can download, play and delete when I am done. No extra cash or any other thing like that.
I just completed the Call of duty BO6 campaign. It's a wild ride and not what you will expect...in a good way. I think it's one of the best CODs yet, And I've been in it since the 2003 OG.

What games "Run like dog water" on the Series S ? I play Ps5 that's my go to. For the last 6 months have had gamepass and got a used series s for 100$ on offer up and haven't played a single game that ran bad. As a PS fan i have to say Jimmy is straight up HATER.

I purchased a Series S shortly after launch, I've been happy with it but I have been contemplating picking up a Series X. When I purchased my Series S I only had a 1080p tv too, now I've upgraded to a 65" 4k tv.
I have both, did the same thing. Honest opinion, if your 4k doesn’t have HDR, 120k and VRR it’s not worth it. Mine does, and the differences are still minor although present on the games that support these things. At large, the series s is just fine and it’s not as huge of a graphical improvement as you’d expect. Granted some games basically offer the same visuals with 60fps, or slightly upgraded graphics with things like ray tracing…but again, nothing is mind boggling different and these games are few and far between.

Banjo Kazooie does not have to sell as well as bigger IPs to be successful. It's important to understand how much reviving that franchise would renew fan support for Xbox and it would not operate on the same budget. It shouldn't have to sell as well as other big triple A games. Smaller budget games matter too and they help bolster libraries. Spider Man sold better than AstroBot but the budgets for the games were very different and it is very important context when talking about profit margins.

And if your SSD drive dies then your console is bricked (unless you already cloned it) because Microsoft have paired the SSD to the console so you can’t replace it. That’s a terrible practice for a console that costs $500 dollars plus? The repair guys are all getting quite a few Series X’s in for repair around the 4th year of their release. So the Series S might be a better reliability option?

I played cod Black ops six zombies I am not a big call of duty fan at all. I swore I would never buy another one. What was infinite and the person I was gonna play it with didn’t play it with me but all I care about is zombies in the story mode but black ops six zombies I didn’t really care for. I wanted to play. I think it was call of duty duty, black ops 3 zombies that I remember playing back in the day it was more scary and fun. Thanks to gamepass I've saved so much money and we get discounted prices so we dont pay full price for releases anyway. The value of gamepass outweighs buying new games every month especially if you have multiple consoles - and otherwise just buy the game... And we get second copies for our kids for free. .... the series s had deals with it going for 250$ since it almost came out the series s this past year hasn't had those sales and has been retailing for 350 all year its not rocket science why the series x is doing better now - the gap had shrunk between the price difference its no longer 250 / its 150 in price difference and depending on offers in some cases that 150 is offset by deals if spending over 500 dollars with specific retailers

No, I will no longer prefer Xbox, which is a 3rd party gaming device. I am happy that I can play Sony and Xbox games with my PC. PS still makes its games exclusive for PS5 for 1-2 years, so if you REALLY want a console, PS, if you want to play every game, you should buy a PC. Like Lumia, Xbox will probably be history after 1-2 generations.
Xbox offers better services than PS, play anywhere, better security, best and stable online services, smart delivery and console features like Dolby Vision/Atmos and Quick Resume.

I’ve been a fan of the Xbox for a long time. I recently had a problem with my Microsoft account and they are not lifting a finger to help me. Microsoft has gotten so big that they no longer care about the gamer. I will be switching to the PS5 and PC. There is really no reason to even own an Xbox anymore. Xbox no longer has exclusive games, and Playstation has a lot of exclusive games. When Microsoft has a game I’m interested in playing. I’ll play it on PC. Take care.

Playstation coming out with the pro right was genius marketing.. for someone who has a PS5 and Series X and getting the Pro in a couple weeks I want to play everything on the pro when it comes out which sucks bc Xbox is finally starting to come out with games and PlayStation has slowed down.. honestly considering buying the games I really am dying to play for PlayStation if the pro shows considerable performance boost over the base model ps5 and Xbox

Thanks to gamepass I've saved so much money and we get discounted prices so we dont pay full price for releases anyway. The value of gamepass outweighs buying new games every month especially if you have multiple consoles - and otherwise just buy the game...
And we get second copies for our kids for free. It's a win win win win win

its not rocket science why the series x is doing better now - the gap had shrunk between the price difference its no longer 250 / its 150 in price difference and depending on offers in some cases that 150 is offset by deals if spending over 500 dollars with specific retailers

Because they dont own one and just like to complain. I bought a series S during the console shortage because there was no series X, and to be honest Im very happy with it, dont even want the series X anymore. I would rather spend that money on something that allows me to play more games.

A lot of people are switching to Sony or pc cause of the games that are coming out and the exclusivity’s that Sony has been catching vs what Xbox has been receiving and to many Xbox problems within the system from the Xbox one and s shutting down and not turning on and needing more maintenance then a pc or ps takes right now among my friends Xbox only valuable target is price versing compared to other consoles or pc with the accessories or games

To be honest with everything that's been going on in gaming the last couple years and the way it stands right now I don't care about next Generation consoles even when they come out I'm not going to care I'm just going to finally bite the bullet and get a good gaming PC and be done with consoles and I'll be able to play any game any console generation on one device starting next year I'm going to stop limiting my gaming options and just give myself everything on PC

No, I will no longer prefer Xbox, which is a 3rd party gaming device. I am happy that I can play Sony and Xbox games with my PC. PS still makes its games exclusive for PS5 for 1-2 years, so if you REALLY want a console, PS, if you want to play every game, you should buy a PC. Like Lumia, Xbox will probably be history after 1-2 generations.
Xbox offers better services than PS, play anywhere, better security, best and stable online services, smart delivery and console features like Dolby Vision/Atmos and Quick Resume.

I’ve been a fan of the Xbox for a long time. I recently had a problem with my Microsoft account and they are not lifting a finger to help me. Microsoft has gotten so big that they no longer care about the gamer. I will be switching to the PS5 and PC. There is really no reason to even own an Xbox anymore. Xbox no longer has exclusive games, and Playstation has a lot of exclusive games. When Microsoft has a game I’m interested in playing. I’ll play it on PC.
