    Working for coastal transport is a good company. I worked for Coastal Transport for 10 years and 4 months. I recently moved on to Gemini Motor Transport getting paid by the hour And couldnt be happier. More money for less hours. the most i ever grossed at Coastal was 77k for the year in 2019. We worked a 6 on 2 off schedule up to 70 hours. Some terminals just run a 5/2 set days off.

      Yeah we run 5 and 2. I usually work every other Saturday for the extra 100 and pay. So I’ll see over 80k which isn’t bad. But by the hour is way better pay

      Hi brother...just want to ask your opinion....I know when speaking of getting paid by the hour you were referring to hazmat tanker but in my area Coke pays about 26 or 27 an hour and OT after 40. Do you think this would be better than working for Costal Transport getting paid by the load. I don't mind the physical nature of the job?

    Thanks for the info I do have 6 years experience in the trucking industry but I decided to start working fuel hauling and coastal is looking like the best option to start off I just moved to Houston tx from California hopefully everything works out well 💪🏼

    Nice to know they’re actually paying you to work your off days. I’m in Texas and was told I’d get paid for working an off day but I could only be paid if I “was asked” to work and even then I was still not paid

    • @NardNews
      @NardNews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nah man. Just fill out a non rev for that day and you’ll be paid. However they do reach out to me here every other Saturday and ask me if I’m going to work. If they let you work on your day off you should be paid

    how many hours do you work for those two weeks? u said a lot of 13 hrs so let say 120 hrs for two weeks. $3253 / 120 hr= $27/hr, almost same Amazon contractor. I though fuel pay way more than that.

    • @NardNews
      @NardNews  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Some days are shorter but this is about right. You have to remember this is rookie pay with no experience. Fuel does pay way more. You just have to get the experience for those big time companies to hire you. That’s why I said “rookie pay”…
