The soft top noise doesn’t bother me, and if I lived in Alabama or in the Southern United States, I’d be more inclined to try it, and I may opt for a full soft top during the summer. That aside, the factory soft top has a dimple in the side windows, most likely from how it operates, and I’m not a fan of that and I’m happy with my choice going OEM hard top, and having the option to use an available soft top later. ✌🏼

Ford screwed up…. The Bronco get together has a name that isn’t memorable, they should have made up a name for it that was memorable by either rhyming or using an alliteration like jeep was smart enough to do (Jeep Jamboree)… Bronco Blow Out, Bronco Bout, Bronco Bazaar, or Bronco Expo….
As to OP’s comment about a road trip in a Jeep, the Jeep front seats are mega comfortable so even with my bad back I was able to drive from Las Vegas, Nevada to Prince Rupert, British Columbia before putting the TJ on a ferry to Ketchikan… slept in the Jeep several times, more comfortable than I’ve been on much shorter trips in other vehicles (especially my old 1986 Honda Interceptor)…

Good long run, I drove my JL from Arizona to Georgia 25 hours and averaged 17.0 MPG and that was 2.5 lifted on the 35's and rock rails ,winch not a rubicon-not sure if it's a good comparison, also the soft top did not buckle at the back windows like the bronco did. Jorge Lopez and TFL were able to get better than 19 mpg on their Sasquatch Broncos with 2.7L V6s. Jorge drove from Houston down the gulf coast in his Wildtrak and got 18.something in that direction but got over 19 mpg on the return trip. TFL drove their First Edition Bronco on a road-trip across a long stretch through Colorado and they got about 19.3 mpg. I think Jordan from Bronco Nation said they got something like 21 mpg in their 2.3L Badlands with 33" tires on their trip from Florida to the T&C facility in Alabama.

I purchased a Big Bronco and prior to this I was driving a mid size SUV. I have noticed it becomes difficult to control Bronco once it crosses 80mph especially if there are curves on the road. It can cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle as it has happened with me. People in NJ highways drive in the 90 to 100 mph in the left most lane on the highway and one just can't keep it in that lane. Do pick up drivers also face similar thing? I don't think so because I have seen them driving 90 to 100mph in the same lane and at the same time maintaining good control, even if the highway has curved roads.

I've done many 1200+ mile cross country drives in my two-door '17 Wrangler. The seats are very comfortable, but the solid-axle makes the Jeep have really bad road skitter over rough pavement. The handling is only so-so, and it's not a pleasure to drive at high speeds for long distances. The soft top is loud and leaks a lot of air, so you have to get the heat adjusted just right. The road skitter is, by far, the worst part of every trip.

Can you replace the soft top for a hard one?

I love this car but its fuel economy is just 1990 bad , imagine a full size land cruiser gets better fuel economy while weighing more and having more power and space
