Oh, most definitely. Danielle is great. They should've let her finish out her trilogy as Jamie, though. (She's no replacement for Rachel) But she's not Jamie's foster sister or related to her in anyway and she still seems to love and care for Jamie like a little sister, which I always appreciated after Rachel was unceremoniously killed off. The first scene she was in made me like her, as she brought Max to the hospital to cheer Jamie up. Surely Rachel told her to do this, but she genuinely seemed excited and happy to cheer her best friend's little sister up. 2. Yes she's annoying, but she's always reminded me of Kimmy Gibbler from Full House, as she is really the epitome of the hyperactive 80s teen best friend stereotype. Obviously she's quite a bit older than Kimmy was in the 80s, but she still always reminded me of Kimmy.

Because of all the mask changes I feel it’s easy to sometimes think it’s not the same Michael(even though it is). Loomis’s character will forever be the best in my book.

As a fan, I want to take a moment and thank you for the passion you put on this video 🙏🏼🙏🏼 🤯🙌 . Especially when you point out the good and the bad and the worst 😂 Loved it!
I agree. I disliked that Tina had taken over that “guardian” role because she lived in the moment and doesn’t have a solid reason to care for Jamie. She was focused on going to that party and dismissed Jamie’s warnings as she thought it was Loomis injecting those problems into her.
Possible spoilers I feel like somewhere on this list even if its Honorable Mentions. Judy Greer in Halloween 2018 was kind of amazing. I love how she both thought her mum was crazy but never forgot what she was taught and when it came down to it she really pulled it together. When she basically does Michael dirty by playing possum in the basement and then shoots him. That was pure gold.
I actually liked Laurie in 2018 since this is a woman suffering PTSD fearing, and hoping, Michael will escape and prepares herself for that day. But you can also see how messed up she is from that night where she has a terrible relationship with her daughter and is trying to make up for that with her granddaughter by giving her that interview money and showing up for that dinner while also hitting the bottle when she goes to watch the transfer bus leave. It’s enough to tell you that the past 40 years haven’t been easy for her without it being infodump. While yes she wasn’t the force behind the plot I counter with that it didn’t matter how Michael got to the house since she was prepared for that since she was trying to do that when she first sees him at Julian’s house. She shot at him and he wasn’t interested in her, just going for his next victim. It wasn’t until he was at her house he even realized that this woman was the same girl from 40 years ago that he started getting more offensive with her. It’s also obvious this film was meant to be the beginning of the “fighting back against the Shape” story that’s going on so Laurie and her family still have character development to be seen.
I may be biased because I find Rob Zombie’s Halloween movies enjoyable (despite some obvious flaws). But I think Annie deserves a spot on the good list, especially because Danielle Harris is the only enjoyable victim in both Zombie films.
I love Michael Myers and is easily my favorite slasher...but he’s my 2nd favorite character in the series because my favorite is Dr. Loomis personally. Donald Pleasance is amazing and all the quotes he says is so memorable and he later starts losing his mind more later in the series and I can understand that since he’s been dealing with his patient since 1969. Overall, I love Michael but I feel Dr. Loomis takes the cake as my favorite character in the franchise.
I loved Rob Zombie's Annie Brackett, she became somewhat of a support figure for both Leigh and Laurie and very much the opposite for Laurie, to the point where her death was heartbreaking. Also, her last discussion with Laurie had some very interesting quotes about the trauma and the experience that both of them went through
Jamie, Laurie, Loomis, Michael, Tommy and Rachel are so awesome! Laurie is an icon in the original. I hated how in Rob Zombie’s version, she just seemed like a side character that you just wanna see get killed off- honestly
I'm so happy that Marion Chambers is still alive in the current timeline and I hope she survives Halloween Kills. If She doesn't, I hope she puts on one hell of a fight, even more badass then in H20.
I am so glad to come across another Halloween 5 enthusiast (or at least someone who doesn't hate it). I've personally never found Tina to be all *that* annoying. I think what the writers intended was for her to contrast with the very grounded, low key Rachel--down to her eye/hair color and fashion sense. What you brought up about her intuitiveness is very interesting, and something I never quite picked up on. The exception is when she is crying after speaking to Jamie before setting off again for the Tower Farm party. I always found that little scene interesting. It is obvious she knows Jamie is on to something, but ignores her anyway.
Honorable Mention goes to Bucky from Halloween 4. His "Don't try that Halloween shit with me" line is one of the funniest unintentionally funny moments in the entire franchise.
I actually liked Tina she was one of favorites in Halloween 5 but I wish they wouldn’t have just thrown her in as like the new Rachel. They could’ve made her little bit smarter to trust her gut. I was sad that she died in the climax
Vicki was definitely not used to her fullest potential. They should have had longer chase sequences with just her and Michael. She had such a promising role.
That analysis of Tina is actually really good. I’d argue that makes her one of the best characters if she was written that way. But I’m sure it wasn’t intentional lol
I thought that Scout Taylor-Compton did an amazing job with the decent stuff she was given in Halloween and the horrific trash she got in part 2. Maybe it's The Psychologist in me, but I thought that Laurie's portrayal of PTSD in 2 was pretty good. The trauma from the first Halloween cracked who she was and the realization that the Strodes weren't her parents broke her. The worst damage was done when she realized that her own brother killed her biological sister, caused her biological mom to kill herself, killed the mom and dad she knew, killed one friend, mutilated her best friend, and tried to kill her. On top of that, add the fact that the world knew that she was Angel Meyers, sister of a serial killer. All of that weight on anyone would be devastating. I've seen people go through much less have worse breaks with reality. I think you're being unfair and top harsh on Laurie. There's no way she was coming out of part 1 okay and there's no way that she was coming out of part 2 anything but irreparably traumatized.

Very good analysis of Tina! I actually like her as a character though. I honestly think many that hate her would act in the way that she did during H5. Ignoring their intuition, focused on partying, sex, chasing a significant other, and alcohol...especially teenagers and 20 somethings. I actually think she mirrors a lot of people in society. People who’d rather focus on the fun and frivolous things in life, than the dangers and serious problems that surround them.
That’s bizarre. Maybe you need to set the notifications to “ALL” or you have to have them turned on in your phone settings. Either way, i will start releasing weekly content every Friday in the new year.
As annoying as Tina is, I feel like Halloween 5 would be fairly forgettable without her. She certainly makes the sequel stand out - I’ve grown a love/hate relationship with her ridiculousness.
No Halloween scene gets me goin as much as Freddy chastising Michael in the house! Always has me howling 😂. He even TOUCHES MICHAELS HEAD! I usually fast forward the Laurie dying part in resurrection as it has ZERO to do with the rest of the movie and really just pads it's run time.
I agree that H20 was the most compelling version of Laurie. I was surprised that zombie Lynda didn't make your worst list as she seemed to lack defining features beyond being pretty grim.
I was kind of surprised Tina was super disliked, I kind of like almost liked her. I thought she was a decent character who felt like the victim of being forced to do illogical things for plot convenience. It was really nice though that Rachel's best friend was supportive of her rather than "Jamie is so boring, you should totally ditch her and go to the big party" kind of character.
I was gonna throw my laptop away when you mentioned Paul Rudd's Tommy Doyle. Loved that you inlcuded Marion, there's something I like about that character, like she has her own concerns and doesn't have time for bullshit. Annie from Halloween 1978 is another favorite, loved her attitude.
Really enjoying your channel. Can you do a breakdown of John Carpenters The Thing from the 80s. I’d like to see your point of view on when each character becomes The Thing and your point of view on Macready and Childs in the end.
I can’t believe I never questioned where the hell Laurie’s parents were. She literally gets home from school that afternoon (presumably around 3:00 since she walked from school with her friends and assuming her school gets out around 2:30) and they’re ALREADY gone who the hell watched her when she was a kid if the mom was never home either. AND WHO SAYS THAT TO THEIR KID?? If you adopt a kid you ARE their parent. And why wouldn’t the like Laurie?? She’s like the _perfect_ daughter: good grades, a leader, does what she’s told, and she’s a social butterfly.
I loved what you said about Tina being the Anti-Laurie. That moment where she talks with Jamie about needing to get out and party seems more poignant now. No way that bish would survive Corona, let alone Michael.
I'd like to add a special honorary worst character. The clown cops. You know the ones.

On a ranking of 1-10 he’s a 13
Honorable Mention goes to Bucky from Halloween 4. His "Don't try that Halloween shit with me" line is one of the funniest unintentionally funny moments in the entire franchise.
I have to actually agree with you on that entire dangertainment cast lol they were terrible
Michael has more personality than all of them combined.
I actually liked Tina she was one of favorites in Halloween 5 but I wish they wouldn’t have just thrown her in as like the new Rachel. They could’ve made her little bit smarter to trust her gut. I was sad that she died in the climax
I'm genuinely surprised that you didn't go more into why Michael Myers is such a good character.
Vicki was definitely not used to her fullest potential. They should have had longer chase sequences with just her and Michael. She had such a promising role.
Love your videos glad you're back
"She's sarcastic and smokes excessively" I felt that in my bones
Me too LOL
Only redeeming line of Will Brennan was 'sorry I'm getting my nipples pierced' even though it was slightly perverse...

This channel brings me happiness 😂❤️
Keep up the work man these video really help with my depression and there really underrated like keep being you man👍
They should have never killed Vicki. I loved her and Julian. I also adored Rachel.
I know this a year old but I hate it when I like the final girl's friends more than the final girl, this being one of them because I found Allison boring and I loved Vicki
This list is phenomenal. Agree with close to everything on it.
Been waiting for this one Zach my guy 💪🏽🎃, thanks for the upload and Happy Halloween
Why is TH-cam not notifying me? I got the bell turned on. I literally missed 3 of your last videos. Great video
That’s bizarre. Maybe you need to set the notifications to “ALL” or you have to have them turned on in your phone settings. Either way, i will start releasing weekly content every Friday in the new year.
YOU GOT ME AT THE NUMBER 1 BEST SPOT, I was like no it can't be 😂
It’s weird ranking the shape as a character since the best part about it is it’s lack of character
Jamie’s wig in H2 is definitely honorable mention for worst characters 🤣
Maybe that's why she is sedated because it would have flew off in a fight lol
I’m so happy you made a video today, made my day! Couldn’t agree more with you list as well 🤘🏻😎☀️
When you said "Paul Rudd as Tommy Doyle" for Number 1, I almost had a heart attack.
These thumbnails are great!!
Have you ever heard of "WATCHING THE THEATRICAL CUT"
Conal Cochran, season of the Witch was Dynamite 😁
Good point about the Strodes not visiting Laurie in the hospital.
Just got a new myers mask today I love your channel
You’re #1 for both are SPOT ON!!!
I agree that H20 was the most compelling version of Laurie. I was surprised that zombie Lynda didn't make your worst list as she seemed to lack defining features beyond being pretty grim.
To be fair Busta Rhymes was ironically the ONLY reason Resurrection watchable.
Another great list! Love the respect for Halloween 3 🎃 lol
Wow he’s a great TH-camr genuinely!
I was kind of surprised Tina was super disliked, I kind of like almost liked her. I thought she was a decent character who felt like the victim of being forced to do illogical things for plot convenience. It was really nice though that Rachel's best friend was supportive of her rather than "Jamie is so boring, you should totally ditch her and go to the big party" kind of character.
recently came across your channel and i absolutely love it !!!!!!
Tina > Rachel. I said it. I don’t care what people say. I will always love Tina 😊
Awesome vid bro, keep up the good work!
I don’t understand why no one liked Tina, I actually didn’t mind her all that much!
I liked her. I think people just associate her with Rachel dying.
A ranking within a ranking lolol that was awesome 😂
Finally... JUSTICE FOR H20!! One of the best in the franchise! so underrated
I totally agree
Too underrated!!
Great job man keep up the good work 👍
Really enjoying your channel.
Great list!
Omg when you said tommy was number 1 im like "you got to be kidding!" 😅that was awesome to throw that in there!
I love the attention you gave to Laurie here.
I loved what you said about Tina being the Anti-Laurie. That moment where she talks with Jamie about needing to get out and party seems more poignant now. No way that bish would survive Corona, let alone Michael.
Who else would like Julian to make an appearance in Halloween Ends.
