Hi Garden Friends! Hope you are all enjoying your summer. Here is the video I referenced about the comparison on the Green Giant Arborvitae vs. the Emerald Green Arborvitae. Hi Steph. Went to the Home Depot on Wednesday because I was low on Alaska Fish Fertilizer (thank you for this suggestion, I love it) and saw some of these perennials though not all, because you apparently have the best store in the USA😆Thanks for this video, always enjoy watching💚
Hi Steph, I do have Home Depot envy for your area. Mine is so sparse and hardly anything goes on sale. I feel I need a road trip just to visit yours. Still can't get over your beautiful return home video and the bouquet George made you.
❤ I enjoy you videos so much! I always run to Home Depot whenever I see your posts looking for some of the items. Everyone is correct your store is the best place ever. Thank you for sharing!!
Love all the great info! I do wish you could include the high end of hardiness zone because I live in zone 9b Texas Gulf Coast. I do know there are tags that dont show zones, but, if so, I would really appreciate it. Thank you
Hi Steph: I never realized that some varieties of astilbe can be grown in sun or shade. Your Home Depot carries a great selection of plants. I should look into mine as well. Thank you, for your tour!
Hi Stef 🌺.Very cool plants at home depot .. I loved the deep pink color of coneflower and hope our nurseries will get this color ,I have the white and lemon yellow colors from it . Have a great day .🌺🌻🌺
Hi Denise! We are very lucky to have a well stocked and taken care of garden center at our local HD. Thank you so much for watching, hope you are having a great summer!
If you have a Home Depo with limited selection, you are likely within 50 miles of a HD super store, because HD is typically organized into hub stores with multiple spoke stores nearby. For many of us, the trip to a super store is a touch of culture shock; for the size and selection. My urban spoke HD is unlike the nearby super store and unlike the nearby rural HD with stacks of farming supplies. Explore and enjoy.
Barb, I agree!! The music is too much. I'm on the hunt for some heliopsis. There was a variety I saw last year at a local nursery with dark foliage I hope I can find 🥰
Hi Steph, I am thinking of fall. Zone 8a NC. It’s so very hot and humid. I’m seeding some plants for fall. Love your Home Depot. I’m 40 minutes from the closest one but it is a good one. Thanks for the inspiration.
You are so lucky. Your HD is amazing. I went to my HD yesterday, and they have not restocked anything. A few sad perrenials and nothing new. I am very envious here in Westchester, NY. 😊
One warning about heliopsis. I planted the Heliopsis Burning Hearts variety last year and they were destroyed by slugs in the spring so much so they didn't come back. I'm in a similar zone to you, so it's something to be weary of.
Where is this magical HD 😂 Mine looks NOTHING like this one. We have such a small selection & half are near death. My HD doesn't do clearance. They throw them out. They never have any kind of sale on plants either 🙁 I'm definitely jealous.
The Gorilla cart is far superior to wheelbarrows. Holds more, is more stable on 2 wheels, and still easier to move; even drag it with 1 hand. Paid $125 for mine before covid, and have never stored it; no signs of rust or weakening. I sift compost directly into the cart and drag it around behind me as I mulch.
thanks for the hd tour. enjoyed it ours does not have a good selection like yours. but i am going to check it out just in case. lol thanks for sharing.!!!
In an earlier HD trip this summer, your store had beautiful coreopsis. I went to the two HD stores in my area and found NO coreopsis. They had some perennials that looked good, but not the coreopsis I wanted. The box stores in my area have a very limited plant inventory. I get so frustrated. I have to plant what I can find, not what I would like to have. I found supertunia jazzberry finally about 3 weeks ago. I'm in Wilmington, NC.
Hello ❤.. I am in Cleveland . Do you think I can plant perenials now . I am not a great fan of being out in cold myself .so wanted to finish any new planting by end of this week .
I haven't bothered going to home depot this year. Seems like they NEVER put plants on sale. Mine doesn't have a clearance rack like Lowe's. A local nursery has 50% off sales all the time but others never have sales. Some sell dormant perennials or half dead ones for full price. Not a fan!

What do you use the fish fertilizer on?
@@zukosmom3780 Hi. I apply it to my veggie garden (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and watermelon) and all of my annuals.
your HD has amazing selection
You are really lucky to have a Home Depot that has such a huge variety of flowers, this time of year ours doesn't have that at all!!
I really enjoy the store tours and look forward to them each month!
Hi Jenn! Thank you so much for watching. So glad you enjoy them 🥰

Yay - Steph is back at the Home Depot!!

Love when you show what home depot has , thank you!!

Thank you Steph!
Saw some beauties I really love! Still have pockets left to fill ❤️👍🏻😊

I'm always so envious of your HD tours. Ours is pitiful. When I lived in SoCal, we had one good one about 45 min away that was always fully stocked.
Such a selection! And they look so fresh. It’s true, my HD does not compare. Enjoy 🌿

@@HookedandRooted Thanks Steph!
Oh wow all my favourites in todays finds 🥰🥰
I love to plant Gaillardia in a place where it catches wind so the petals flutter in the wind like a tiny blanket. Just too cute.

OMG! Home DEPOT NEEDS TO GET RID OF THE ‘head banging” music . The plants were great, hope you got some. ❤😂❤

Great Garden tour especially loved seeing the Heliopsis, Gaillardia, and Crocosmia!!!

Same here in New Mexico we got mums is all. I want come flowers
Oh my gosh I really need to go shop some, I want several things. The cone flowers is on the top of my list.
A definite kudos to your local Home Depot! Thanks for another great video! 🌱
One warning about heliopsis. I planted the Heliopsis Burning Hearts variety last year and they were destroyed by slugs in the spring so much so they didn't come back. I'm in a similar zone to you, so it's something to be weary of.
Leyland are great, grow fast, planted close together they do very well. I had them at my last house.
Where is this magical HD 😂 Mine looks NOTHING like this one. We have such a small selection & half are near death. My HD doesn't do clearance. They throw them out. They never have any kind of sale on plants either 🙁 I'm definitely jealous.
You definitely have an amazing Home Depot 😊
Thanks ☺️
They still have plenty of plants out there.

Hello to Brewster, NY Home Depot, you never have this variety or plenty.
Need to check out HD, been Waiting for a Dwarf Calamondin! 🎉
@ San Diego
thanks for the hd tour. enjoyed it ours does not have a good selection like yours. but i
am going to check it out just in case. lol thanks for sharing.!!!
Omg I want them chilies so bad!!!! $3.99 it’s a crazy good price!!!!! 😂
I love my coneflowers! They’re hardy, beautiful and the deer/rabbit population avoid them.

You’re Home Depot is amazing! Mine hardly ever has anything.
Do you cut your lilies down after they’re done blooming ?
Hello ❤.. I am in Cleveland . Do you think I can plant perenials now . I am not a great fan of being out in cold myself .so wanted to finish any new planting by end of this week .
Hi there! Yes, you can plant perennials now. Be sure to keep them well watered when newly planted. Happy Gardening!🌱
Hi! I live in Saginaw,Mi. How can I buy a Verbena and Heliopsis? I tried to get them. There is no these plants at Home depot Saginaw.Answer me please.
I love Sand Cherry…unfortunately, deer ate mine.

Same here in my town
I have found that deer and rabbits will eat huecheras in my Wilmington, NC garden. So frustrating!
17:00 I wonder if that was a perennial phlox or annual phlox.
Hello, Perennial Phlox.
My city has the worst Home depot , we only got mums zero new flowers for the last month .
Want some sedum. Thanks Steph
🙏🏻
Just left HD no new plants.
Just some sad looking Perennials.
I watch for the information on the plants, but choose to never shop at Home Depot.
Union Busters.
Music is too annoying im going to have too switch channels
