Thanks for coming by and checking out our trails The System! Great to see guys that we follow doing review on all the work that has been put forth into building our trails. Thanks again for the video review!
YES!! Thank you for the video. This is our favorite place to play. Don't suggest going out on the " nub" by the closed trail. It's a lot more squishy than it looks and the rock underneath can break off in layers or chunks.
Yoo!!! Its awesome to see my home riding place! I ride vian regularly and I've been there since before they built alot of this up. Its awesome to see that oklahomas finally giving in to mtb lol. Thanks for visiting and glad you enjoyed!!
@Daniel Murphy has Dr's Drop ever been open? I went out around 6/11/22 and it was still closed. NOT that I was going to do it, it seemed beyond my scope and I was alone..but I'm wondering if anyone has done it yet. Seems like, a little left or a little right and you'd be f'd into trees or rocks. aka...going to the Dr :)
Jeff, on the road again here in Italy. Always a pleasure and to enjoy your video content. Truly enjoyed your video on Sunset Ridge @ Hawes Trail System in my back yard. Have yet to attempt that trail. Thanks for sharing.
I'm sitting here looking at that feature in the thumbnail thinking, hey, that looks like one of Oklahomas latest trail features. Im a proud Oklahoman to see you having so much fun there. Thank you for the feedback on the Vian system. Oklahoma has plans already in motion to connect our trail systems with Bentonvilles Vian is just the beginning.
+Lynette I'm trying to understand what you said. Are you saying that OK trails will connect to AR trails in that region( Ft. Smith, Van Buren, Alma etc.) or heading alllllll the way up to NWA? That sounds like a mighty endeavor for OK and AR. Good for OK to get something going for them on that part. The Broken Bow/Hochatown area needs Lakeview Lodge a refresher and a bit more added to it.
@@pedallinwithparedes from my understanding of it, yes. But I dont know the details to how that's going to be pulled off. I'm assuming through old railroad systems and certain counties coming together to collaborate it all. Bentonville is also working on getting trail systems that lead there with other surrounding areas as well. You dont take and patent the title of Mountain Bike Capital of the world, and not have long term plans for the closest local trails all to lead to you somehow. But it does take time to work out all those kinds of details.
Man, the new bike looks great. Seems like with that front triangle design it's super jibby/trials-y. Cool to see ya hitting up some OK trails, too. Looks like there's potentially some nice trials rocks trailside down there.
I rode at Vian last Fall, but that large roller coaster feature wasn't finished. I was pretty impressed with what the little town of Vian has built in such a small area. Living here in Oklahoma, I am glad to see multiple communities building trails to draw in riders. Vian is small by comparison, but worth the stop if you're passing by on I-40. I spent a good hour there after riding some of the trails in SE Oklahoma that are part of the O-Rock Challenge Enduro series.
That bike looks sick! Now I know what I want as my next ride. If a medium happens to fall off the back of the truck let me know 😆. Seriously though you and the guys at Reeb are getting it right. Time to start saving.
Loved the video Jeff, that mini bike park sure is breaking new ground when it comes to the typical mountain bike parks with long trails and chair uplift facilities 👍🏻. I would love to see the same kind of initiative taking place as the new trend all around the world wherever there's MTBiker communities as this new kind of bike park offers a whole lot of new options never before seen: it allows one to enjoy the usual bike park features at a more affordable price,no complications with the installation of cable cars, gondolas, chair lifts, all sorts of meetings, permissions and debates at the local city hall/town hall. Moreover, by placing this new kind of mini bike parks on climbable hills it automatically allows for more MTBikers to gain access to a spot with new trails and features closely located to their residential cities and towns as both big and small hills are normally more wide spread than mountains are where the typical bike parks are usually located, therefore without having to plan a big tiring trip all the way to a far located mountain bike park where one has to be prepared to pay quite good sums of money in order to enjoy at least a couple of fun days riding trails. There is a wide range of benefits in the creation of these new concept bike parks, it's impossible to name them all in my comment, what's important to mention is that these new concept bike parks have huge potencial in terms of keeping the fomentation of the MTB community as they offer real bike fun together with uncomplicated access to them both by regular riders and also new riders that are looking to enter the wonderful MTB live style.I would also like to say that I would love to be part of a dedicated team in charge of building such mini bike parks wherever they needed them, I'm hoping they become a trend 🙂. I want to say one last thing specifically to you Jeff, and that is about the Teva Links MTB shoes developed by you and Cam McCaul, I have bought me 2x pairs almost 8 years ago and not only they look cool and unique as fuck but also that they perform oustandingly well all this long though I've been using just 1 pair and keeping the other pair for later when the pair I'm using becomes unusable.I would like to ask you why did Teva quit making them when they're such an amazing product, even more when there has never been a match for them in the market ever since?😲👟🤩👌🏻👍🏻👏🏻
I give them a 10 for creativity on the roller coaster feature. Some of it reminds me of my local, not quite legal, trail. Certain things tend to work or not work with limited elevation. That bike looks sick. If you need more than 120 in the back you just don't have enough air in the shock.
@@JeffLenoskyTrailBoss I knew hot traffic would be coming at me so I was huggin' the rough slow spots on every blind spot and being vewwwwy qwiet so i could hear any riders comin'!
Hey Jeff! now that the bike has been able to be ordered for a little while, do you think you could do a video of an overview of the bike, and your thoughts on it? i've been really wanting more steel full sus bikes to be made, and the SST kind of hits the desired use case for me (travel, geometry)
You know I’m shocked at how that the feature at five minutes and 12 seconds is very reminiscent of a feature I built in Florida six years ago call Papa Bear
I'm running a 185x52.5 shock. Shhhh you didn't hear it from me, the tire JUST kisses the seat tube at bottom out with a 2.6 tire, I'm most likely switching it to 120 when I get my personal bike.
I work for the company. It’s a small group of us so I am an ambassador as well as helping with sales, marketing, product design and anything else that pops up
The bike looks cool love the raw finnish glad its not black i aggree all mtb trails need more tech climbs that make you heart pop out of your chest and your brain have to think how do i clean this all the trails in aus are super super flat techless climbs its sad but true see ya next time .

Come check out what they are doing in Tulsa. Turkey Mtn Wilderness, Claremore MTB.
Stop by Turkey Mountain in Tulsa. Tons of trail work. Plenty to ride now but I think the next phase will be complete in six weeks or so (June 1, 2022)

So awesome to see you ride a trail I ride!

Nice compact trail network there...excellent use of the available terrain with some nice woodwork! 👍🙄
It was fun just watching you explore those trails. They look like a unique playground!
Rad bike! Cool first few trails for Lake Vian. More people that ride them, the more they will build.
Thanks Jeff! keep the videos coming!
Ain't nutten better than a good trail and an even better bike!
Agreed!

Love the tech climbs, it makes the descent that much better ride

Ordered my SST last month on a whim. Thanks for the video.
You’re gonna love it.

Picking up a definite Bentonville vibe from those trails, Given it's relatively close it's not surprising.
People that built a lot of it do a lot of work in bentonville. I think Rock Solid has that contract.
Rogue trails did the original trails out there and rock solid has done the most recent stuff.
Sick features
I am seriously loving the look of that frame, Jeff. It's making me think of building one up as a single speed and doing very bad things on that bike!
