- پاکستان کے صوبے پنجاب کے مقتول گورنر سلمان تاثیر کے بیٹے شہباز تاثیر کو 26 اگست 2011 کو لاہور سے اغوا کیا گیا تھا اور تقریباً ساڑھے چار سال بعد آٹھ مارچ 2016 کو ان کی رہائی عمل میں آئی۔
بازیابی کے بعد پہلا انٹرویو انہوں نے بی بی سی اردو کی نوشین عباس کو دیا۔ جس میں انھوں نے یہ بھی بتایا کہ وہ کس طرح رہا ہوئے اور کیسے گھر پہنچے۔

This is moving nevertheless, Shahbaz didn't deserve any of this, infact no one does. I am happy he returned back, safe and sound. But he appear confused while responding to many questions as if trying to make an answer to make it possibly look true when it is not. For instance he was hesitant when asked if ransom was paid for his release.
