I remember him from school. Don't understand how some rather insignificant moments (in grand scheme of things) from one's life just get stored in memory like it was yesterday. But can never forget when he gave out to a bully in school one time who was harrssing a helpless kid. So will always remember him as a kind soul. Incredibly inspiring to see what he's become. God bless you brother.
Every time Shahbaz comes on a podcast I already know this is going to be amazing. Shahbaz has been through so much still manage to smile and joke. God bless him & his family and they never have to go through anything like this again Ameen.
Okay so this comment is for sehbaz taseer and mooroo please make sure he sees this. I was 12 years old when Salman taseer was assassinated and I was from that group who strongly thought he was rightfully so because that thought was very strongly put forward by mullahs and justified by them thereto by making a hero out of his assassin. But now I think I was mistaken and have realized over a span of a decade that this blasphemy allegation thing has hurt us in so many ways. I thought sehbaz would have been a spoiled brat but this smart man is so sorted listening to him has changed my image of him a complete 360* and I m all praises for the parents who raised him. His resilience is everything. And it's a reminder as well that life will put you through what it wants you to go through your privilege doesn't matter. But sehbaz has come out of it all very brave and I envy his courage when he laughing tells the worst he went through. Man looking at you I just praise your father what a fighter he just produced. Lots of love
Proud of you brother. I really admire your father. At that time he was only one who stood up against the injustice towards a lady. He was a true human being and a great muslim. After listening this podcast now I realised your father brought up a great son too. After doing some research on Asia bibi case I was ashamed how and why so many so called illiterate muslims went against that lady on the will of jahil molvis. Salute to Shaheed Salman Taseer sahab.
the fact that he went through all of that and still has his sanity intact is inspiring. people talk about "Mera Ghum" but the things he's experienced...
Shahbaz speaks well on Islam. He can become sadqa e jariah for his parents. He should start his You Tube channel and spread the 'word' of Islam. Shahbaz should appreciate that he has a role to play, people would listen to him because he is from a privileged class
as someone who listens to podcast very frequently, is an extrovert and love communicating and who loves to have the pleasures of someone sharing a piece of their life just for you to take something from it, THIS PODCAST IS A WORK OF ART!!!!!!!, NGL THE THINGS MY BRAIN FELT IN THIS 1.5 HOURS IS UNLIKE ANY OTHER HOUR OF MY LIFE
What a story of resilience, realisation, and transformation. Thank you Mooroo bhai for having Shahbaz bhai again and tell his story fully. Can't wait to read the book.
it was so insightful and interesting listening to shahbaz taseer. seeing and individual for what he's been through (not entirely - do want to read his book) and seeing him sit here and talk about some of it. It's fascinating. really inspiring. Im not a reader, and I definately never read autobiographies or books that include politics. but listening to him feels like i definately need to know more. one of many things i want to do now is get that book for myself.
Really amazed by the amount of courage he has and telling the whole story without breaking down for a mili second like literally he is made of steel👏👏👏
I can hear him for hours and hours and still i want to hear more. He is such a nice and calm person that his words have specific attraction. I went to kabul in taliban tenure before american attacks i can totally relate to his situations and the words came out of his mouth and the feelings attached to it. I pray that Allah give him another chance to spread awareness and he himself can create his life to be on Allah's plan.
Finished listening to his book 2 weeks ago. His story is incredible, crazy and unreal. Kudos to his courage that he survived and stayed sane during everything he went through. Guys go read his book!
Shahbaz Taseer is just amazing guy. What a story boi. I wanna meet this guy. Listen almost 400+ podcast but this podcast is one of my favorite of all time. And Specially his knowledge his confidence is just fucking amazing. Wanna meet you Shahbaz bhai. Massive respect for you man.

Urdu podcast will help to educate our own people 2nd same goes for his book to be translated in Urdu..
Kuddos to ST and Mooro as well for making such a masterpiece …. Am on loop with his interview now which is weird to me maself but thouroughly enjoyed his story telling art ; God bless him and his heart and he’s part of my wish list to meet him in person someday ❤️
Yaar just finished it and my Godd is it good and i love how he has so many sides to his personality. I want another podcast. He is such a brave guy MashAllah. I hope he gets happiness and blessings in this life and hereafter
How are u standing shahbaz? Ur the strongest person ever or u are the best actor i have ever seen… emotional trauma i feel is far worse then physical but even ur physical trauma seems horrific Bought ur book & going read it tonight 🤞
Amazing. Starting my 2023 with the best podcast. It really takes some character and nerves of steel to go through so much in life and still able to articulate in a charming way.
Mooroo Bhai, what a podcast!! This is the first ever podcast which I've listened to till the end❤️❤️❤️. So much respect and inspiration from Shahbaz ❤️❤️
Shukar Alhamdulillah that he made it back. Loved the interview - can't wait to read the book. Followed the whole ordeal back in the day while praying for his recovery. Thanks Mooroo for having him again.
Shahbaz is a slap on those people whom say that privileged people live very easily it's even harder if you're that privileged from start and then deal with these things
This is the most interesting interview I've seen/heard in a long, long time. Shahbaz is unbelievably brave. And his father was a great man and lives on as a hero for many Pakistanis. Looking forward to reading Shahbaz's book.
Brooooo!!!! I got to say that this is the best ever podcast ❤. I have watched Shahbaz taseers interviews before and I am already impressed by this guy’s personality but this one is the best. Watched it absolutely all the way to end. Thanks for sharing it. It gave me a lot of hope in life l.
Didn't know about shahbaz taseers kidnapping. The details are so so shocking and traumatising. Can't imagine how he got through it all and dealt with the pain and the trauma! More power to you, Sir. Can't wait to read the book.
Love u shahbaz bro i watched whole podcast and trust me you are amazing person going through alot of shit and still you are bring smile to others face .love u bro ALLAH pak ap ki hifazat karay ameen
This is 29th dec and i have already watched more than 356 hours of pakistani podcasts this year and i don't consider moroo to be in the top podcasters to begin with. BUT, this is my favorite podcast of perhaps, all time and that too with leads of margin 👏 This podcast takes you elsewhere. You can visualize the story of Shahbaz taseer. As a young male muslim sunni pakistani, the rhetoric about his father grips you, and starting the podcast with that notion, it was a banger! I literally traversed through 10 different realizations hearing salman. i did not know of him before. the kidnapping (4.5yrs!!!!!) and the racial profiling and him being so normal about it, not using superlatives, mann this was special. Thankyouu universe for this podcast
Hey. I'm just starting to get into podcasts and I have heard only Mooro and GanjiSwag podcasts yet and enjoyed them. Do you have any decent recommendations for other podcasts? (doesn't have to be Pakistani podcasts necessarily)
@Giant_Dwarff Hi! If you are looking for pakistani podcasts, you are missing out on a lot if you haven't listened to these: .The Pakistan Experience by Shahzad ghias shekh .Thought behind things by Muzammil hassan Zaidi .Kia kahay ga kazi by Kazi Akbar (Underrated)
Mazzaa aa gaya, please iss sub ko urdu dubbing k saath upload krain ta k English na samajhnay walon tk bhi yeh lessons yeh messages yeh beliefs pohanch skain, please...
Ohhhh bro i'm utterly bewildered.....whenever someone talk about Salman Taseer, i could not stop my myself cursing those regressive and hallow minded barbarics who planned his murder. But i was totally unaware about the horrific story of his son. It's more baffling and horrific than what happened to Salman. I'm so sorry, you gone through such dark days. I shall read your book. Afghan taliban and all of their offshoots, they all are blot on humanity and Islam. Definitely, hell is their eternal abode.
It was a very inspiring journey but I was really looking forward to the flip side struggles of Maheen Ghani too. Her tweets and constant struggle should be worth mentioning too.
I wish he can acknowledge the role his former wife played while he was away. Grudges aside, it's sad to see that one of the people who waited so much for his release is nowhere in this story. I know they have parted their ways but she also suffered a lot while he was away. It is these small details that I wished to read in his story. Khair.
This is such an unfair comment on someone's personal life. You have no idea what might have happened b/w them or why they separated. I don't get why we desis want to know/comment on every single aspect of someone's life. No concept of boundaries.
I get where you're coming from. How they choose to live now is a separate story - but yes ofcourse it must have been equally hard for her like the rest of family members during all those years.
I didnt know shehbaz taseer for his fathers son….. ive come to know him since he started talking about his journey….. and i am intrigued by where he takes wht he has….
Taimur, if you really think that smoking on a pod and in front of a guest who is a non-smoker, is cool? trust me it's not. Keep that in mind. Thank you,
I remember him from school. Don't understand how some rather insignificant moments (in grand scheme of things) from one's life just get stored in memory like it was yesterday. GANG of TASEERS led by Ms Aamna Taseer, Shahbaz Taseer & ceo shehryar taseer had looted the salaries of Daily Times workers.
Every time Shahbaz comes on a podcast I already know this is going to be amazing. Shahbaz has been through so much still manage to smile and joke. God bless him & his family and they never have to go through anything like this again Ameen.
Smiling and joking while telling about a catastrophe you faced is mind-blowing! May Allah bless you more! Will love to read your book.
Okay so this comment is for sehbaz taseer and mooroo please make sure he sees this.

Great for u man! Honestly speaking, people like u tend to give me hope that perhaps this country isn't in shambles after all

Mr. Taseer took the story telling to a whole new level ..
Brave man must i say!
