Because Japan is very much contextualized, you will literally have to make guesswork of what theyre thinking. Aiming and assuming than it actually being explained. But, the society collectively does that so it makes since societally. Not so much for thise who aren't used to educated guessing.
hahaha thats because misa is such a great teacher :D... Im a native spanish speaker, I speak fluently english, and struggling with japanese, started two months ago by myself and still learning all hiragana and katakana
OMG...you are one of the best if not the best Japanese teacher on TH-cam. I understood every single one of the hints (except the charm point one :P). You explain things so wonderfully. I hope you continue this listening practice 'cause it was super fun and very helpful.
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. I have been in Japan for 2 months now, your videos certainly makes it sooo much easier to learn Japanese! ありがとございます
I absolutely love and appreciate that you include common phrases that are not taught elsewhere. This is important, and it makes your channel even more useful than the textbooks I've seen. And games like this are effective.
I just discovered your channel and it's simply pure gold! I've been going to Japanese language school for almost 6 moths but never anything like this. You're lessons are informative and easy to understand. So I've spent my 4 days vacation on watching and learning from your vids and it's worth it! Big thumbs up from Thailand, thank you!
みさ先生、このゲームは楽しかったです!ありがとうございました! Every time I visit Japan, it's the ability to listen and catch the speakers first pass that I struggle with the most. Reading I'm OK, speaking I'm OK until I don't handle the listening well. Sometimes the speaker doesn't give another pass, they kindly immediately follow up to try to say it in English for me. As they start speaking English I feel so silly- "oh, I completely know what they said to me in Japanese." I greatly appreciate this lesson in that it's listening skill improvement, and to be able to see the speakers mouth is another additional skill / aid that is useful here. I would love to see more lessons like this.
Wow! This video came right on time for me. I've been studying Japanese very intensely for the past several months and I'm proud to say I was able to follow along todays video with most of the hints until the very end. I already watch a lot of your videos, but out of order, just however TH-cam recommends them to me. I''m telling you, watching this video today was very satisfying to know that my comprehension and listening skills are really getting stronger! This was really fun too! I'm going to have to go through your channel to see if there are more games like this.
Woaah that kind of game is really fun! I just started learning japanese not long ago, so I only got some words correct for each example sentence. I'd be looking forward to more of those, as I feel like it'd be easier to remember vocabulary, since you get more active with this kind of video~
Now THIS is a learning form you should keep using as much as possible because it's more immersive! I really enjoyed it. I could feel myself trying to learn better already and I got some new words out of it. I guessed the first riddle pretty quickly, and definitely the second one lol. I unfortunately don't have patreon right now so, I'm glad you shared this with us!
This was a really good video! A new subscriber and a relatively new learner of Japanese. Recently moved to Japan with my wife about a year ago. I came here with very little Japanese background, but have been trying to learn the language ever since. It's been really tough and sometimes I feel as if I'm not getting anywhere. But every now and then I surprise myself. Watching this video was one of those times. I understood most of what was you said before the explanations. Definitely felt proud of myself! I hope to learn more from your channel and maybe one day I'll finally become more confident in my Japanese ability.
Love this way of learning much easier to keep your attention and its easier learn in context rather than long explanations of grammar that have less context and become confusing with longer explanations that get sidetracked leading to even more complicated explanations. I guess I have a short attention span haha.
Oh my this is really cool! Thank you Misa sensei! The way you say sugi no hinto is so cute^^ I guessed both near the end! I hope you'll do more. It's fun and i learn so much with your classes!
Actually, I'd recommend not even worrying about that. It comes naturally to most people I'd say. Even my friends who struggle with Japanese have really good pitch accent. Just make sure you listen carefully to natives: be a copy cat
This video has actually really upped my confidence a bit, the first game I was understanding so much more than I expected (I played without pausing!) although I spent most of the second game thinking Johnny Depp and then Jack Sparrow, so not so great that time :P But what a great way to find out you know more than you thought, thanks for this video!! Every upload is always great :)
First comment (I think?) haha Thank you for all your lessons. My girlfriend and I will visit Japan in November of this year and your videos are helping us a lot! Greetings from Mexico :) Thank you!!
This video was great fun to watch, hope you make more videos like this (I mean, the other videos that you make are also awesome but this one grabbed my attention more, I think)
I love your lessons, they always make me feel like I'm able to learn and that's a really important thing to keep motivated. Thank you so much for keeping on making videos
I am a bit like on intermediate level of Japanese but still I found it very useful. More videos like these . It's so nice when you can practice for a bit even from only listening :D
Very nice practice ! I have been lucky to live and study in Tokyo this days, you help me a lot. It could be very useful if you do only Japanese video once in awhile. No English explanation..
Great video -one of my favorites ever!! - I’ve been trying to tell people that game playing is a better way to tap into the emotional motivation for language learning ! Speaking of attractive -You always look so pretty but today you seem very energetic and even more healthy and beautiful !! - are you playing a sport or working out ??? Thank you teacher!!
Until "機械です" my guess was 歯ブラシ hahaha! I started thinking 携帯 once you said "写真が撮れます". The second one I got more quickly but until "キャラクターです" my immediate thought was Charlie Chaplin :') Thanks for the fun, educational game, みさ先生!
こんにちは、みさ先生!あなたのヴィデはすばらしいですね!Why in this sentence: 色々な事が出来る。出来す、is not accompanied by other verb? For example: 日本語を話すことが出来ます。This other sentence has話すand 出来ます。あいrがとうございます!
"Can you guess what's in my mind?"
Me: Pikachu?
I said the same thing 😂
Ely G haha lol 😂
The same in my mind ^_^
That was my immediate answer to!
"I want you guys to read my mind."
This is how Japanese works?
No wonder it's impossible to be fluent.
No, that's how Mafia works.
Because Japan is very much contextualized, you will literally have to make guesswork of what theyre thinking. Aiming and assuming than it actually being explained.
But, the society collectively does that so it makes since societally. Not so much for thise who aren't used to educated guessing.
its how girls work... ;)
No thanks I don't wish to know what weaboo thoughts are 😂
Misa Sensei, I read your mind and all I saw were images of Pikachu. LOL. JK.
Another informative video. Thanks.
Love this method of learning Japanese. Thank you so much Misa!
She definitely deserves 1 million subscribers! I love you and your channel ! Please make more of these videos. I really enjoyed this vocabulary game.
Idk why I'm watching this (native Japanese, pretty decent at English too xD)
Because you like to look at Misa?
hahaha thats because misa is such a great teacher :D... Im a native spanish speaker, I speak fluently english, and struggling with japanese, started two months ago by myself and still learning all hiragana and katakana
I get you. I do the same with spanish teaching videos
This looks interesting and nice for listening practise. Please make more videoa like this. Thank you very much!!! ありがとう
有難う :)
Danke!
OMG...you are one of the best if not the best Japanese teacher on TH-cam. I understood every single one of the hints (except the charm point one :P). You explain things so wonderfully. I hope you continue this listening practice 'cause it was super fun and very helpful.
💓💓💓 Thanks! I’m learning a lot of vocabulary! ありがとうございます先生‼️
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. I have been in Japan for 2 months now, your videos certainly makes it sooo much easier to learn Japanese! ありがとございます
"CHEESU mo tsukaemasu"
*Hmmmmmm* Cheese? What could it be?
I thought she was talking about cheese too XD
You can possibly find cheese made on a map. :)
Got the first one at 機械です ^^
For the second one I was convinced it was Santa till the second last hint LOL
Exact same lol!!!
僕も!
Same, lol
Lol, サンタもおもった
But I started to doubt it after that jump hint
Samee
I don't see a lot of videos that teaches listening skill, thanks for this! look forward to more if you can :)
You should TOTALLY make more of these kinds of guessing games with new vocabulary
After a year of watching her older vids, I'm quite surprised how easily I managed through this video! Misa is such an awesome teacher!
Your explanations are perfect thank you im actually starting to learn when to say things properly.
I absolutely love and appreciate that you include common phrases that are not taught elsewhere. This is important, and it makes your channel even more useful than the textbooks I've seen. And games like this are effective.
Still my favorite Japanese language teacher on TH-cam of all the ones I watch.
thanks you so much for making all of this content for free...it 's very valuable to me
I just discovered your channel and it's simply pure gold! I've been going to Japanese language school for almost 6 moths but never anything like this.
You're lessons are informative and easy to understand. So I've spent my 4 days vacation on watching and learning from your vids and it's worth it!

The answer to the second question is Red Luigi.
みさ先生、このゲームは楽しかったです!ありがとうございました!

I really like the videos where you have the pronunciation written out in western letters too. those are so much easier for me to follow
I can't even describe how excited I get when I see that you uploaded lol. ありがとうございます!
Wow! This video came right on time for me. I've been studying Japanese very intensely for the past several months and I'm proud to say I was able to follow along todays video with most of the hints until the very end.

Thank you for keeping your students motivated!!! I only had to look up a few words, this really boosted my confidence :)
Love the video! Such a great way to teach listening.
Misa’s teaching was so good that I was starting to doubt that I knew all the vocab that I did. すばらしいです!
Woaah that kind of game is really fun! I just started learning japanese not long ago, so I only got some words correct for each example sentence. I'd be looking forward to more of those, as I feel like it'd be easier to remember vocabulary, since you get more active with this kind of video~
I've been using your videos to learn and I can't thank you enough. You make everything so interesting!
I'm studying japanese and i really enjoyed this lesson! your really good as a teacher and take your time with your viewers! im subscribing!

My charm point is that I'm subscribed to you honestly

Thanks for another great video! 😁 Please, do some about the pitch accent in Japanese🙏
You can pledge to Dogen's Patreon to learn about pitch accents, his videos are rad.
Actually, I'd recommend not even worrying about that. It comes naturally to most people I'd say. Even my friends who struggle with Japanese have really good pitch accent. Just make sure you listen carefully to natives: be a copy cat
@@DMS-David Thanks! I'm gonna check out the dictionary :D
This was fun! I learned a lot of new words from this game. Thanks for this one.

Amazing video format for learning!! Thank you for doing TH-cam! ♡
本当に本当に本当にこの動画が大好きでした。もっと同じ動画を作ってください。どうもありがとうぞざいました。
P.S. I guessed it was Mario immediately when I heard ひげがチャームポイントです。ゲームが大好きですから。
Someone needs to make an app using this method to teach vocabulary and grammar
今日このチャネルを見つけました。すごい上手教えることのメソッドがあります。ありがとう! It's the first time I think I've understood how to use "koto" with a verb!

Does a 'chaamupointo' have to be a physical feature? Or could it be someone's sense of humour, or kindness, for instance?
Please! Can you do more of these!? I loved it!
このビデオはありがとうございます。Please make more of this kind of Videos. Its helphfull for me to learn japanese listenging.
Make more of these! It was great!

みさ先生のチャームポイントは全てです。
This was very fun for me, thank you!
I love it. Can you do a version where you don't stop and explain everything in between?
Thank for the video! :) I think that is the best format for learning )
very helpful to learn vocab. ありがと 先生 :D
Thank you that was GREAT more please
こんにちは、みさ先生!あなたのヴィデはすばらしいですね!Why in this sentence: 色々な事が出来る。出来す、is not accompanied by other verb? For example: 日本語を話すことが出来ます。This other sentence has話すand 出来ます。あいrがとうございます!
Great video!!! I wish I could understand spoken Japanese the way I understand this video :(
Clever concept you came up with for this lesson. Misa sensei wa tenzai desu
