A separate cadre for specialist is needed that's all problem is solved.
    A generalist cannot be specialist

Actually civil servants are more worried about their fixed job. Goverment jobs should also be on the basis of output and results.

It does have impact in UPSC aspirants because why should we give 3-4 years of our youth for preparation especially with the outcome being unpredictable. On the other 1/10th of that effort can ensure admission into a top B school and thereafter we can get into bureaucracy via lateral entry.

I think UPSC should give lateral entry to candidates who have appeared for the UPSC exam 4/5 times and are stuck in mains or interview, and have a technical background.

They don't want book worms. They want people with 15-20 year of industrial experience.

general category don't want those minute posts....only 1% jobs in india are government jobs....and that includes posts from high ranking officers to a office boy...so why fight for such 0.000001% of posts.....in govt. jobs you cannot make a significant change in the society or your work related field.....you will never get satisfaction.....your boss will always have a ego problem.....you will feel caged......and why to work for a country which hates you.....mostly educated general category can get a job anywhere in the world......when we pay the most taxes then you should have the freedom of working where you get the services for it

All excercise and plan to chane something will have both good and weakness
Weigh both and give a chance to good to prevail and for the improvement
Nothing is achieved by critsising Modi for everything
Modi is the ultimate loser but nation
Many media still harbour modiphobia and inject the same into nation whole canvass
