Your packing and shipping videos are SO helpful!! Don't know that you'll even get this comment on an older video but if you do, I love ALL of your videos! I'm now using the tape dispensers that you have and using the masking tape for interior layers. I love this. Packing tape is so frustrating when you are UNpacking something in bubble wrap. The masking comes off easily enough to make the bubble wrap reusable. Surely I'm not the only one who can appreciate that?
Wow, you did a fantastic job on those dividers. Very professional looking. I actually prefer to avoid using pool noodles when packaging items, so I like seeing you work with more traditional packing supplies sometimes like you did here. Thanks for another great "How To Ship" video!
I love watching your videos. I do thank you postcards but am intrigued with the thank you labels. I am going to give that a try! I know glass needs protection but I avoid bubble wrap as much as possible, although it is impossible to avoid altogether. The amount of bubble wrap/plastic/foam materials used in this video gave me nightmares LOL! Have you considered packing peanuts; packing paper, or other materials that are made from recycled materials? I mostly use packing paper that I got for free from a family moving in to the area and posted on OfferUp.
Welcome to our channel. As to bubble wrap. It is and will always be my go to packing material. I’ve been doing this for a long time and in my book, nothing protects fragile items better. And, I use the best bubble wrap that I can find. I look at it this way, what does it take to get the job done in the best way possible? For example, what if my newspaper was put in a paper bag instead of a plastic bag when thrown on the lawn? I don’t think it would hold up very well in the morning dew or rain. What if my restaurant leftovers were put in a paper bag instead of a Styrofoam container? As a seller, the most important thing to me is that the item that my buyer paid for arrives safely so I give everything I pack the best that I can. I’m afraid that if bubble wrap makes you have nightmares, you might just want to watch my other videos and skip the pack and ships. LOL. Otherwise, I hope you do check out our other videos.🙂❤️👍

I decided to release my video just a little bit early since tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving everyone enjoy your day with family and friends! 🦃 If you like these kind of videos and reselling videos, I invite you to like, subscribe and ring that bell for notifications and as always thanks for watching and commenting, Vickie ~ Avante Avenue 🙂❤️👍🍁🦃
I think it does. The bubbles are meant to protect the fragile object, not the box. I do, sometimes put the flat side on things where the bubble might leave an impression. I packed a matted cross stitch piece and turned the flat side to it. Also, with framed artwork, I had a (store) customer return the art after having it in her car all day in the heat and the bubbles facing the art left impressions on the wood frame (melted?) so I’ve always wondered if it had been turned flat side to art, could that have been avoided. Thanks for watching and asking. 🙂❤️👍🍁🦃
I used too but stopped when c19 started. I switched to my thank you label to be able to say thank you. Ebay took away our ability to write a special message to our buyers on the packing slip. With all that considered, I just stopped doing them and it’s never been an issue. Every buyer can go to Ebay to print out a copy of their purchase receipt if they want one. No one seems to care if it’s included or not. At least, no buyers have commented about not getting one. 🙂❤️👍
I use masking tape for packaging on the inside. I use packing tape for the box. Masking tape is so, so cheap compared to packing tape. I have two heavy duty Dispensers one for each type of tape. You can find the links in the description below my videos. And, yes my air pillows take up more volume than peanuts for a much better price. 🙂❤️👍
Do you mean a divider for the eight glasses? I could have, but it worked out well to be able to push them to the center and put the air pillows around the perimeter. Both orders arrived fine to the buyers so either method is good. I’m always experimenting to see what options I have when it comes to packing. I often never know what I’m going to do until I start doing it. LOL. Thank you and happy Thanksgiving!🙂❤️👍🍁🦃
I have a huge glass lamp to package and I have no idea how I’m going to do it big I have learned alot from you Thankyou 🙏
I’ve never packed a large lamp. Come back and let me know that all is well. 🙂❤️👍

Love that! Glad you’re enjoying the tape dispensers! Like you said, I love using the masking tape too! Thank you so much for your kind comments! 🙂❤️👍

Thank you! I don't use pool noodles very often. They serve their purpose when needed.
Thank you, as always, for such great packing instructions.
You are so welcome Patricia! Appreciate it!
I channeled you today as I shipped a gray boat.
That’s funny! Thanks for the smile break 🙂 and congrats on your sale! 🙂❤️👍🦃
lol - I meant gravy boat - Happy Thanksgiving

Here’s a relaxing video for after Thanksgiving dinner (Mark & I enjoyed this beautiful fall walk): th-cam.com/video/5ZOILZQaxds/w-d-xo.html
Love it 🙌🏻
Love that you love it! Thank you!🙂❤️👍🍁🦃
I noticed you put the big bubbles on the inside towards the glasses and not outward....does it make a difference.?
I think it does. The bubbles are meant to protect the fragile object, not the box. I do, sometimes put the flat side on things where the bubble might leave an impression. Why no invoice inside the box?
I thought that was standard practice. (I purchase a LOT on Ebay.)

It is not required by eBay. Required if you sell on Amazon.
Why do you use masking tape instead of just packing tape? And do you find bubble wrap and pillows more reasonable than peanuts?
I use masking tape for packaging on the inside. I use packing tape for the box. Masking tape is so, so cheap compared to packing tape. I have two heavy duty Dispensers one for each type of tape. You can find the links in the description below my videos.

Where did you get the ruler?
Mark found it at a garage sale years ago. Maybe a hardware store has them? I love it! Thanks for watching and asking! 🙂❤️🍁🦃
Happy Thanksgiving. Thanks for another great shipping video. One question would it have been better to use a divider for them also. Just curious.
