How do you make the mesh around the atoms? I have just uploaded my structure using thePDB code and there're are just the sticks. I will of course test it using different kinds of surfaces, testing bonds, spaces and etc, but I am a bit surprised.
Thank you~! but, Coot 1 is too slow. Because I'd like to install the previous version coot on my mac. As far as I know, Brew installation only offers coot 1(the newest version). Do you know how can I install the old version of coot?
Yes. Coot 1 is very slow on a Mac (see my Coot Blog post about it). There is no formula for Homebrew for Coot 0.9.x. Binaries for Mac Coot 0.9.x are available from CCP4 (and before that, from Bill Scott).
Thank you very much Paul and Lucrezia! Coot 1 looks great and this video gives the old Coot users a great introduction!
Muchas gracias! Looking forward to more episodes.
I got my coot.rb file, however I can't open the window as u at 0:30. What should I do now? Thx.
$ brew install ./coot.rb --verbose --HEAD
@@PaulEmsley Thank you for replying, however, after that there still no such icon appear for me to access coot.

@@PaulEmsley Yeah, thx. I got into reading and found that these are the maps. So right now I am really enjoying Coot 1.1 ❤
Thank you!

@@PaulEmsley Could you help us by putting links in the description, especially the installation instructions? Thanks!
