Aloha Melissa, you’re very welcome 😊 We’re lucky that the HD stores close to where we both live have amazing orchids because I know not all the stores are the same. Btw there’s a nursery on the Big Island that supplies our store but they are able and looking to ship to other locations. Maybe if you mentioned it to the person in charge of ordering, they might consider bringing in some of their orchids. The nursery is called Newmans Nursery. I did a video there last year and his nursery is huge, 10 acres of greenhouses!

Aloha Nadene! Yes they have come a long way in the last few years. Before I’d only see phalaenopsis orchids. But now I never know what I’ll see when I go there and I absolutely love it 😍 Mahalo for watching 🤙🏽
The longer I grow orchids the more I like phalaenopsis orchids!

Love going to ur Home Depot with you. Many more orchids, those phals hanging were so pretty, but I have to say so were the others. Those to wagons with orchids, I’ve gotten some for half price, but them in my staghorn fern, they look pretty when they bloom. Sure would like to go to the Hilo show but can’t this year. Thanks Kelly, I would have done some damage in there.💖💖💖💖
Aloha Linda! I’m glad you enjoy my videos at Home Depot. They have so many beautiful orchids now and a lot of them come from Jeremy at S&W so you can actually get those same orchids shipped to you 😂 Just throwing that out there just in case you see something you really want. As for the discounted phals, I have seen them marked down before but usually by the time they do that, the orchid looks pretty bad. I think they should mark them down once the flowers start falling off. Maybe more people would be willing to buy them. Just hate the thought of them being thrown away 😞 Sorry you can’t make it to Hilo this year but maybe I’ll see you there in the near future 😉 Mahalo for watching 🤙🏽

Aloha Kathleen! I feel the same way when I watch other orchid videos, I want that one, and that one and that one 🤣 But you don’t need to wait until you come to Hawaii to buy some of those orchids. Most of the vanda are pick thru ,have to be there within first few days (will see flowers in four years or so). Lowes have orchids at half price after they finished flowering, just need to be there just as they finished flowering so you know what colors they were.
@@benh3427 sometimes Home Depot puts their orchids that have dropped their flowers for half off but not often
