One thing I recommend doing especially to help prevent forgetting small necessities is to organize your supplies into categorized storage bins. Really comes in handy with cooking supplies in my experience.

Invest in a Mr Buddy heater. I use one when I camp in the winter. Propane powered but you'd have to lug around a 20 gallon if you want it to last overnight. But definitely worth it!

Assuming you have a tow hitch receiver on the rig you should look into one of those racks that go into the hitch. A lot of people put coolers or you could even stack wood on it. Good space saver
I have 2 plastic tots to hold all my camping gear minus the sleeping bags and pillows. I’d highly recommend that so it’s easier to throw everything in when you prep for camping or break down your camp

Propane heat is a wet heat. In the fall an spring it’s okay but in winter it’s just to cold to rely on a wet heat. Diesel heaters work amazing. Also good outerwear goes a long way winter camping. Makes the difference between fun an suffering. You would like it here in Alaska for off roading an camping.

If you decide to get foot warmers, I recommend getting thick socks like wool because thin socks with the warmers will burn the ever living shit out of your foot. I suggest Investing in heated jackets, they work great. Also for cold weather camping if you're looking to purchase a sleeping bag, you should check out a brand called 'FeatheredFriends'. They are on the more pricey side, but definitely worth checking out. I've seen a sleeping bag on there that's rated down to -60 Fahrenheit, which is ridiculous.
build one of these chinese dieselheaters inside a sealed box like a pelican case. Mount it or put it on your spare wheel and have a big tube go in your tent.
Also dont throw food scraps around ur camp site. Keep a trash bag or bin and at night string it up in a tree atleast 10 feet off the ground to avoid animal troubles
You definitely seem to be in a different mindset with camping. Why not do trips in the cruiser that are like 1 to 3 or 4 day trips Pick up a hotspot or some source of internet for your job and just camp.
A heat source can be a double edge sword. On one hand it will kepp you warm. On the other it may make you sweat and become very cold. Also when you leave the comfort of the heat youll be that much cooler. This is coming from 30+ years of camping. Ive survival camped in the winter with only a tarp and my sleeping bag for shelter. Bring lots of socks, never sleep in your clothing you wore all day. Also put your socks and a fresh t shirt in the bottom on ur sleeping bag so in the morning your not putting on stone cold clothing. Drink warm liquids not alcohol as it will make you colder and you could do something dumb like fall in the river and spoil your adventure. A knife, hatchet, tarp, cloths line to air out your sleeping bags n blankets, a first aid kit would be smart. You should buy some winter boots and get an extra set of liners to switch out. Foot warmers wont do much compared to a good set of boots. Ice fishing boots are epic. Also found snowboarding gloves tend to stay dry longer. Good luck and be safe.
