I reckon by the end of 2024 your channel will have a lot more subscribers.👍🙂 I stick a bit of twisted up tissue blue roll paper in pipes that still have water before soldering, the water fairly quickly wicks down the paper sticking out of the pipe if the paper hanging out is lower than the pipe. Oh, I'd never buy an electric boiler from that manufacturer again if they dicked me around like that!
Good tip that with the blue roll, I've seen bread used as it dissolves when the water is switched back, have a fantastic Christmas mate, thanks for all the support

Why on earth would anyone fit service valves underneath a cupboard , im not a plumber but if i were fitting those basin cabinets i would have had solid pipe from the ground up into the cabinet then have the service valves inside where they are easily servicable. Great video 👍
Where can I get that pipe bender from Tom. Gonna be starting as an apprentice plumber in the new years and wanna get some gear over Christmas thanks as always for the videos been such good help for how things work in the real world of plumbing
If you want a two piece bender check out the monument one, they are really good, the only downside is you need one for 15mm and one for 22mm. Have a great Christmas, it sounds like you have plenty to look forward to in the new year, any questions feel free to ask

When I fit a basin waste with a metal nut I always wrap ptfe round the threads as water will seep down bare metal threads.

I use PTFE tape on basin waste threads plus a thin bead of sealant around the washer. Always does the trick for me.

Thanks for content. So many leaks at one time seems to be the isolation valves have had lots of problems with. But leaks at the traps is poor to have left. So feel for you about the boiler I really hope that you get your money back. Only came across your channel recently thanks for the tips and insight. Happy Christmas to you.

Why on earth would anyone fit service valves underneath a cupboard , im not a plumber but if i were fitting those basin cabinets i would have had solid pipe from the ground up into the cabinet then have the service valves inside where they are easily servicable. Great video 👍

Where can I get that pipe bender from Tom. Gonna be starting as an apprentice plumber in the new years and wanna get some gear over Christmas thanks as always for the videos been such good help for how things work in the real world of plumbing
If you want a two piece bender check out the monument one, they are really good, the only downside is you need one for 15mm and one for 22mm. Have a great Christmas, it sounds like you have plenty to look forward to in the new year, any questions feel free to ask

Once you found the leak why did you then dig up the whole length of copper pipe ? I would have repiped the feed for the toilet above the floor?
Highlight the electric boiler manufacturer and supplier!! Shame on them your a genuine bloke Tom ! Not many of us about!!
