- With a fascination for asymmetrical reciprocity, Alessandro Michele revealed his latest collection for the House across two runways, each a reflection of the other. In his notes on the show, the Creative Director writes, “As if by magic, clothes duplicate. They seem to lose their status of singularity. The effect is alienating and ambiguous. Almost a rift in the idea of identity, and then, the revelation: the same clothes emanate different qualities on seemingly identical bodies. Fashion, after all, lives on serial multiplications that don’t hamper the most genuine expression of every possible individuality.”

I agree. For some unfathomable reason I got extremely emotional watching this. There’s so much power and feeling behind the idea of actually NOT being born alone, and spending the rest of your life trying to differentiate yourself from the one person who can probably understand you the most. I don’t even have a twin and I felt that.

I got so emotional when they held their twins hands, but at 9:05 and 12:47 when the twins looked at each other so dearly I teared up 💕
Those were my favourite parts as well, looking at each and then parting, brought me to tears. ♥️

I cried too. I have Aunts that are twins and we buried the last one 10/08/2022 She died from Cancer complications we loss her sister years back from Cancer as well, they were named Mary and Martha.
I got emotional too. The closeness that is possible with twins. It's fascinated me ever since I was a child, though I'm an only child.

Not a day passes that I don’t wish I had her…being an only is lonely.
That said, this was truly beautiful to watch!

Never have I imagined that a fashion show can make me cry … wow. Such a touching concept, the idea, the casting, the models holding hands, the music, the collection everything was just perfect. I would die to experience a show like this live from the audience. Hopefully one day ❤

I've never been moved to cry by a fashion show before. The first round of walking showed off the clothes....the 2nd time around, showed off the human beings! What a tribute to human beauty and uniqueness. Thank you for honoring the models that wear the cloths. They are people with families and stories, this gave them a small spotlight for once. Just lovely!
It's lovely indeed! You say it well about them being people with families and stories; seeing them together hand in hand and parting at the end of the catwalk made me reflect upon how they were once small kids and how they have probably gone through life and experienced a lot together.
Love to see how excited the twins are backstage when they’re about to go out the runway side by side, clasping hands for their final walk. Incredible and emotional indeed

I was left SPEECHLESS. Like I am in absolute awe. This was truly so beautiful to watch and so breath taking. The wave of emotions when the twins walked- I was left dead. This was truly a moment in fashion history.

How incredibly beautiful. Thank you to everyone involved in making this. This is my favourite fashion show that I ever watched. Brilliant concept and so touching with the beautiful text and narration, and the beautifully chosen music. Having the screen be lifted almost at the end and then to have all of them walk hand in hand is wonderful and powerful. I had goosebumps throughout and it made me cry. It seemed like the model at 12:07 had tears in her eyes too. I am an identical twin and there is something magical about looking at all these fellow twins styled identically. I realize how special it is to have a twin and how all of them were little babies once and went through many years together. For some reason, even though they appear together and their is a strength to that, they also look suddenly very vulnerable, almost like little animals, and their parting at the end makes you aware of how tragic it would be to loose a/your twin. Many people try hard to find someone who will understand them and who is like them but we have that from birth... how special is that. (P.S. probably not all twins like each other lol)

Whoever thought of getting Marianne Faithful to recite the lyrics of the Olsen Twins’ song is genius. The original was endearing but cheesy, but read as a poem, backed by that music, becomes utterly profound and moving.
How Alessandro keeps transforming the runway and giving us fresh and peculiar all the time is beyond me. LOVE

I have seen so many runway show's..this is the most down to earth, I've seen the world & wear them all...most unique flawless show eeeever put on 😲...They didn't bother setting a bar...They stamped their mark on, "Different is what makes unique". 😍 Like can designer's get offered rewards for best runway show of the century👑💐.. This really was a," Walk Through Your Vision Vibe"...Who has done twins before....just too many words to express how iconic 🤯 this show truly was. Even if u don't know fashion... This is the BEST fashion show I've seen since the Louis Vuitton by Marc Jacobs spectacular theatrical years. I screamed when that wall lifted. Gucci ATE the entire PFW and left NO CRUMBS. This is historic. I'm in literal shock. This is why I love and live for fashion, this show made me feel alive.
