this is masterpiece, they only have to make a nice mix with hardcore and classy rock hits to keep the album on the top, i am hardcore af and i like this ^^
I like a lot of Heavy music hell I think the Hardcore stuff suits them but if the new album was to have a more of a lay back Rock feel then that's ok as long as it sounds good and sounds like an actual band made it.

Something I've been thinking about: There's a line in this song that says "We halt and catch fire." Halt And Catch Fire was a TV series from 2014-2017 about the arms race to build PCs and develop the Internet in the 80s-90s. That's very interesting, given how the two videos so far from this album are very technology/laboratory centric.

I've been listening to them since Limitless and yeah what they did with Dave was great but they were also great without him and they will continue to be whether you like the music or not. Every CTE Album has its own vibe. Retrograde was a great album imo and the retro futuristic feel of it was amazing! Yeah, i miss limitless/The Fallout/Rise Of The Runaways sound but Retrograde was also good. Seems the new album is following Retrograde’s footsteps and I don’t mind at all! Can’t wait!

Yes, they changed. You can't stick with the same sound all the time. With that said, it still sounds like Crown The Empire. If I was to hear this song for the first time without seeing the video not knowing who the artist was, I would be able to tell that it's Crown The Empire. This song is great for what it is, and I'm enjoying the direction they're taking.
