Johnny Ringo: He sells his soul to the Devil to be reborn, but quickly dies again because the Devil tricked him
Johnny's Revenge: Basically expressing his hunger for revenge and how he wants to kill the Devil
Johnny's Rebellion: He dreams about becoming an angel the night before the rebellion but is awoken to lead his army of angry souls. He overthrows the Devil but he is no longer interested in busting out of hell. He becomes more evil and crazier than the Devil himself and basically takes over his place in hell.
+Ceon Rodriguez what fan girl says makes sense as their albums are in story form. If you listen to Johnnys rebellion, she sounds right with her analysis.

Fun story: Had this song playing on my iPod on the way to pick up my nieces at school once.
As I arrived onto the school grounds and began bobbing through the crowds of parents and their young, I had blocked the speaker so that fabled line wouldn't be heard by virgin ears.
I thought I had done well... just for me to remove my hand from the speaker so every child and parent in a ten foot radius could hear the words "Don't ever trust a devil bitch!" blasting from my iPod.
So many dirty looks... so worth it. (//_^)

Basically Johnny Ringo was dying and the devil made him an offer to sell his soul and the devil would keep him from dying. But the devil eventually has Johnny taken to hell after getting his soul. Johnny wants revenge in the sequel song, "Johnny's Revenge" But, i've heard the last song, "Johnny's Rebellion" and his "revenge" was just a dream. Now he finally goes against the devil and wins and I believe he becomes the new king of hell.

In Johnny Ringo he does a pact with the devil, giving him a second chance in life. However, he deceives him and takes him to hell. Once in hell he wants to defeat the devil, so Johnny goes to destroy him. However, he fails and is killed again. During his death time he's in a dream in which he thinks he's alive but demons come to wake him, in this time he's had an army. They fight the devil and successfully destroy him, however Johnny goes insane with power and becomes the devil himself ruling over hell.
yeah.i think most people interpret rebellion as he doesn't WANT to leave hell anymore. hes gone insane. so he becomes the devil. but worse
johnnys rebellion was after revenge
Okay so the start of the "johnny ringo" he is dying or close to death and he makes a deal with the devil for a second life. This gives him a year of life (or so) and he does what he wants before his time is up. But the devil must cash in quick so during the song you here him getting "hunted" not killed.
During song 2 "revenge" you hear him getting killed it's at the start. Because of this he seeks out the devil in hell to get revenge. But of course he fails.
After how ever long he is in hell he has a dream that he escapes after he has been tortured over and over and they show him that he is still in hell. He manages to form an army of all the people who have been tricked by the devil and over rules the devil. During this he has grown fond of hell and now that the devil is gone he realises that he is in control. This could of been the devils plan all along to get someone to take his place and it could be the cycle and that the next song given there is is johnny hunting "johnny" to take his place.

People have to realize that bands will have phases where you thought to yourself "Damn, this is really good." But that band will eventually grow out of that certain style.
I totally support what Crown the Empire are doing with their music nowadays as well as when they very first started.

+AmericaWest90 oh come on! People (including me) like that they are also able to make softer music. And they are also very good at it. But i still love their heavier music as well. I don't think that they have sold out, or that they are going soft. They may have changed their style of music a bit though.
At least i hope that they will keep doing heavy stuff as well as softer music. The Machines Reinvented were just them showing that they're also capable of making different kind of music, and was just a different version. i will admit that Cross our bones and Prisoners of War were a bit soft, but compared to this, it's not that much. They are doing more acoustic stuff though, but that's because they're good at it and people like it.
I hope that they will continue what they are doing, but not going too soft. A few songs here and there will be fine, but they need some heavy stuff as well.

There is no definite singer and screamer although andy does do most cleans and Dave does do most uncleans. But they both do singing and screaming parts, like during the breakdown after the shroud they take turns screaming.
Isn't there also Austin in this video? It's weird, I can't see him in any shots playing with the other guys but there are close-up shots of him on the piano in front of Brent's kit.

Andrew is the lead/clean vocalist mainly in their newer stuff, Dave is the unclean vocalist but he sings in their newer songs aswell, Brent is the drummer, Ben is the blonde one who plays guitar, Brandon is the other guitarist, and Hayden plays bass.
