I am a 3D artist (lighting artist to be more specific) for animation feature films so when I practice my hobbies, it's always crafts like crochet, embroidery (I would love to sew my own clothes but I am still afraid to try), reading of course. I also enjoy photography (digital or film photography) and filming my everyday life and holidays, but what always bore me is the editing, probably because I spend all my day working on computer, so I have thousands of pictures and footage waiting for me to edit them...
I love hearing about your life, walk with Christ and all your book suggestions. I’m making my way through some of them already. I feel like you would really enjoy Gene Stratton Porter’s books. She was an American naturalist. They are full of nature, characters with rich lives, lots of heart, and endearing love stories. The Keeper of the Bees is my favorite but I also really love Freckles. I revisited them frequently!

I'm currently reading Praying With Jane: 31 Days Through the Prayers of Jane Austen as my daily devotional. Jane wrote some trule lovely, heartfelt prayers. The author, Rachel Dodge also wrote devotionals for Anne Of Green Gables, Secret Garden and Little Women. The Anne one was very sweet and comforting and helped me through a recent very stressful time. Have you read any of these, Ahya?

My favorite theologian is Chas. Spurgeon.Knowing God is an excellent bk. I also have The Jewel Of Divine Contentment, Lowly and? (sorry, my muscle relaxer is taking affect).I have many books on suffering as I have had chronic pain for 27 yrs. the worst being the last 3 from Spinal Neck surgery. Reading is about the only thing left I can do. I used to have many hobbies, but my neck has not healed,sometimes the neck muscles will not hold my head up properly. I have had every kind of treatment for pain, but haven't really worked. As difficult as this is(by myself, no family) and God has not chosen to take the pain away; HE lets me know HE is in it with me. HIS word is precious and life giving. Have fun with your wedding plans! 🙂

Sandra Byrd has some great historical fiction books, especially if you enjoy mystery/gothic/romance. Quite similar to Julie Klassen if you've ever read her books.
