- Welcome to another cosy studio vlog friends!☕
In today's video, I'm getting ready to hand in the last few revisions before completing my latest picture book project, trying to figure out a middle grade portfolio, as well as pondering over my own book project in the future...
I also take some time to visit charity shops for second-hand books and liven up my studio with some fresh tulips🌷
And a big Happy Lunar New Year if you celebrate it too!

I love your videos ❤, so calming and pretty! My favourite ghibli characters are Howl, Sophie and Arrietty! The Howl’s Moving Castle book is one of my favorite books. And awhhh I remember that illustration that they chose for the calendar, it’s so pretty! Loveee the movement and colors in that one 😊.

ohh thank you so much for your kind encouragement! and I'm so sorry that you're going through a creative slump right now. I also find myself in these slumps frequently and so really relate to the struggle🥺 I'd love to share a bit more about how I ended up as a kidlit artist and am thinking of doing a q&a in the near future! so I'll try to announce here or on instagram when I prepare that video!🤎

You will definitely do it as long as your talent fly you to the world of magic. Children literature is my passion since my early childhood so I decided to take this journey with all risks that might conclude but after all I published eight children stories and still have a lot in my pocket as I am a children writer but due to finances I stopped for a while until I could save some money to illustrate. If you want I will dedicate to you one of them and illustrate it 🎉
