Howl's Moving Castle is my favourite movie OF ALL TIME and Howl has set the standard for what I expect from men (the entire flower field as a gift to Sophie? Hellooooooooo!) If every I need to cheer myself up, I cannot think of anything better than popping on Howl's Moving Castle and having a takeaway.
My little sister's favourite film is Ponyo! I just adore that film! It has a special place in my own heart as it was the first Studio Ghibli film I ever saw as a child.
Hahahahaha I FEEL you!!!! Howl is such a dream, isn’t he?!😫😫 The art for Ponyo is also simply stunning and though it wasn’t my favourite ghibli film, I know just how much of a fan favourite it is😍

I love Whisper of The Heart! It's so wholesome and sweet. I think my favorites are Kikis Delivery Service and The Cat Returns. Have you ever read the books Hayao Miyazaki wrote about his career? It's very insightful for artists and Ghibli fans.

Oh!! That’s actually one of the few ghibli films I haven’t watched yet!! I definitely have to get round to watching it this year and am ready to have my heart broken🥹🌷
I got my Ghibli start with Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and Howl’s. Totoro has gotten even more special for me because I introduced it to my three year old. It was our first film we watched in theaters. 💚
Oh my goodness, that is so precious that you were able to introduce Totoro with your child🥺 It’s so special being able to share memories together with friends and family, and I feel the same way about Totoro because I grew up watching it with my little sister🥰

Kiki’s Delivery Service is my all-time favorite Studio Ghibli film! I do love a lot of the others though; Whisper of the Heart is my second favorite!

My favorite Studio Ghibli movies are definitely Howl’s Moving Castle, Whisper of the Heart, Kiki’s Delivery Service and When Marnie Was There (which is really underrated in my opinion but I totally recommend watching it if you haven’t 🥹🤍)
Awwww I actually never finished watching When Marnie Was There because life happened!! But I’ll definitely have to try and watch it properly this year🥰
I just finished reading When In Rome and it was absolutely lovely and sweet! I also loved the second book in her Rome, Kentucky series "Practice Makes Perfect". And now I'm about to start The Cheat Sheet as well. I'm curious to see how it compares to her Rome, Kentucky series.
Ooooh Practice Makes Perfect is also on my spring tbr although I don’t own a copy of it yet!! The cover is so sweet and I’d love to see if I love it as much as I enjoyed When In Rome🙈🌸

I absolutely agree about From up on Poppy Hill. It is such an underrated movie and one of my favourite studio ghibli movies too alongside whisper of the heart and my neighbour totoro and of course kiki’s delivery service ❤️❤️

Hi Ahya, good to see you back. I’m also obsessed with Studio Ghibli, I’ve seen all their films several times. My favourite is Spirited Away but I pretty much love all of them, there is something for everyone. I love Whisper of the Heart too, very innocent story where The Baron was first introduced (then in The Cat Returns). My other top favourites are Howl’s Moving Castle, Kiki’s Delivery Service and Castle in the Sky (Laputa). I was fortunate to see Totoro at The Barbican and I’m also going to see the play of Spirited Away in June, really looking forward to it!
I love all those movies too! I unfortunately missed out on going to see Totoro at the Barbican but I’m hoping to get tickets to Spirited Away so I can go to see it with my best friend

My fave Ghibli film is Porco Rosso. I dont hear a ton of people talk about it but i really enjoyed it. Along with My Neighbor Totoro and Secret World of Arriety
My favorites are My Neighbor Totoro, Whispers of the Heart, Up on Poppy Hill, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Howl's Moving Castle. My Hubby's favorites are Nausica Valley of the Wind, and Porco Rosso. He loves planes. He introduced me to Ghibli Studio movies. Lately, I've been listening to the soundtracks on Spotify. So beautiful.🥰
