Most hair salons offer head and scalp massages, where they comb and part your hair like she does aswell as massaging your hair and applying treatments

I used to LIVE getting lice checks as a kid! It always relaxed me and felt like I was getting my hair played with, which usually gives me a similar kind of scalp, neck, and shoulder tingles as some ASMR videos, like this one. Thank you for this video and for reminding me of one of the better parts of my childhood!
Tingting, when I was in school in the 70s we had a lice nurse who we called 'Nitty Nora the Bug Explorer' and she used to be really rough and pull our hair. Thankfully mine was short. But it would have been great to have had such a gentle and relaxing lice exploration as this. 😊🥰🤗

My old elementary school did a lice check up if there was a breakout and they would only take a few seconds, then say "Okay, you're good."

Same. They missed when I was infested with lice and said I was all good. 3 days later my mom found the lice because they were crawling off my head apparently.

It's funny how I had almost forgotten about the elementary school lice checks. Nape of neck, center part, and around the ears. "OK, kiddo, you're good to go" 😅 I was always low-key scared I had them even though I didn't.
They sent me home thinking I had lice.
Turns out, my mother just hadn't realized my hair was so thick I needed to shampoo twice, and thus, had not taught me. They mistook product buildup for lice. XD
