- With the new card in Clash Royale, we've got advanced tips on E-Drag. It has a new chain lightning mechanic introduced into the game where it can easily activate a king tower. This tech video goes through all the relevant micro AND macro interactions on the eDrag. It seems to fit in certain archetypes that control the situation for a counter push.

Electro Dragon chain lightning double dips its chain lightning. The killing blow bounces off Lava Hound onto its Pups
This double dipping mechanic occurs in Lava Hound, Golem, Night Witch and Battle Ram.
This does NOT occur on Guards, Dark Prince or Goblin Giant (the spear Goblin spawn delay is too slow)
This is why the Electro Dragon can take out a Battle Ram.

9:55 is it fair? Yeah, the ewiz shoots lightning out of his hands, and has full control over which targets it hits. The E dragon's lightning just bounces to the nearest targets and has no control. So it can easily hit a ghost, even if invisible.
E-Wiz's second shoot also hits the nearest troop, doesn't fully traget.

@AB the tryhard your maths is wrong. Its a neutral trade in terns of elixir (opponent spends 5, you spend 6 and replenish 1) so its just -600 tower damage + king activated vs 400 tower damage for 5 elixir

@@TrueFlameslinger I think it depends on how valuable king activation is and how low the towers already were. Its either paying lots of elixir for some damage on the other tower or paying a lot of tower hp for a king activation

he will keep hitting the princess tower and the nearest target ... changing the e-drag place won't change anything
I like how it perfectly works out that the card seems so strong, but it has this big weakness of being able to activate your opponent’s king tower.

Its so useful in my team and it can fly so Its less vulnerable than the E Wizard and can fly through the river and reach an infernal tower or smthing like that faster while paralysing 3 units. Also as you said it does wonderfully at defense too

Electro Dragon electricity chains to other units based on the concept of completing a circuit.
A royal ghost is interesting. If it gets hit by lightning while invisible, as well as taking damage from fireball, theoretically, he is not incorporeal.
Royal Ghost is not only corporeal, but he conducts electricity.

He is corporeal anyway, since he can hit and be hit by other troops. He literally just turns invisible when not attacking.
glitch or design ? : the Edrag's lightning will hit invisible ghost. Well... Does Ewiz hit invisible ghost ? I think it is a glitch, don't you ?

@@verde5268, hog can only be pulled into king tower with tornado, while eDrag can activate it with almost any unit! That's a big difference.

I like to think that the electro dragon is like a flying bowler. The stun and the pushback are very similar with their multi target attacks.

There should be a troop known as Divine dragon which lowers attack like how Inferno dragon increases it should lower by the percent.
5 elixer is to expensive for a support troop. I think they should to make it 4 elixer and give it a stats nerf

You can say what you like about its stats, but your logic is just wrong. Unless you're telling me Wizard, Witch and Exe aren't support troops.

billy steve As I said, not commenting on stats. Maybe it's too weak for 5 elixir, but it's not fundamentally too expensive for its role. Those are 2 different issues.
You can also use tank and spank mechanic to counter a giant with a support unit
Example:
1-Enemy giant and wizard show up
2- quick drop e dragon with ice golem
3-ice golem tanks for e dragon while it destroys wizard and giant

thats impossible. the most you could get was 41 edrags with the challenge if you had somehow gotten your clanmates to trade 10 edrags for both epic tokens.

1. I call this the Chain Zap because it does not do 877 damage per hit; it instead does 159, or else it would be too OP.
2. 5:39 rocket also one-shots electro dragon also 6 for 5.
3. 7:49 This is technically a neutral elixir trade. But with 600 dmg on tower. Rocketing one elixir skeletons is even more negative elixir trade.

The bandit interaction is probably a glitch. The royal ghost interaction is not. The chain lightning doesn’t require aim so it’s essentially splash damage and royal ghost can get splashed while invisible.
My favorite tip from this video is learning how to activate the king tower. Thanks to Orange Juice, I am now going to be getting a lot of well played from my opponents

Hey, do emote deck challange. You use all differend emotes, and troops from emotes.
So goblins (stab or spear, based on emoji, no gang, spear is only that one with thing around his head, sry for bad eng) , Giant, Hog Rider, Pigglets, Barbarrian (no elites), Wizard, EWizz, Skeleton (Crown or idea emojis for army, other 2 for 1 elixir)
Edit: Princess and King are already in game so no emoji and troop for them.
What if they made the tesla tower stun enemies? That could increase its pick rate exponentially.
