You should do a tutorial on how to do FaceBook tutorials and it should be mandatory viewing for anyone doing a tutorial. To the point, fluid and easy to listen to. 10/10 :)
Very slow . I am in Lao atm and couldn’t get it to work. It’s just spinning and spinning. Tech support is terrible, took several minutes to answer and another five minutes and another five minutes. I was on chat with them for 30 minutes and they said was “sorry” “please be patient” “we’re looking our end” but that took 30 minutes. I gave up. I bought a 365/20gb/global and so far used 300mb. Last year I bought Mobi and it still works with the last few megabytes until it expires in November.
Thanks for posting this, it was a great introduction and very clear. I and based in UK and use my phone to make calls when in EU so it looks as though these options aren't for me which is good to know.
Never worked for me in Shanghai nor my collegue on China Moble. I did all of the suggestions, maually connect, restarted phone a few times. It seemed to connect because it showed CMCC but I could not use the data.
Some of this info is not correct. I have an iphone 7 and was able to download the app and initiate a purchase right up to the login screen. Definitely check the list of compatible devices, with the Iphone SE being the oldest phone compatible as of this writing.
Here's what I don't understand. I'll be in France so I'll set up that eSim. My understanding is that it uses the cellular connection for data. But I don't want to receive or make any voice phone calls because my US Verizon plan would be too expensive. How can I turn on my cellular connection for data only and not phone calls on my iPhone 13 Pro?
@@DavidEidelberg You must choose which sim, your "primary" (normal one) or "secondary" (your data only esim). Then you set the "do not switch cellular" to oprevent accidentally going back to primary (this feature is phone specific but they all have it). So when you choose your esim, (your secondary cellular) then it does NOT receive phone calls when you buy a data only plan.
If you're going to Vietnam DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY with this Airalo!!!!!. No connection 95% of the time so your phone battery is flat from constantly searching for a signal. It you're going to Vietnam wait until you get there and go directly to a Vietel shop .
Airalo is shit! Tested it in 5 countries and it's not easy to set up and the coverage is 50/50. Works 25% of the time in the Philippines and England. Terrible!
No your physical Sim can stay in but you turn it off in cellular settings to avoid roaming fees and turn on the Airalo eSIM for cellular data and turn on roaming for the eSIM as well. If you have an iPhone you should also turn iMessage and FaceTime off and back on after turning Airalo eSIM on just before or at time of arrival at your travel destination.

I’ve used it for two years now and it’s amazing!!

Can I buy an eSIM on my account and on my phone, but install/activate it on my mom’s phone for her???

does this work on an iPad?
Does cell needs to be carrier unlocked for another eSIM to work
Yes, it has to be unlocked for eSIM to work.
What if my phone already has two SIMs? Does Airalo show up as SIM 3?
Sorry to ask...is this promo or a review. I can't tell the diff anymore due to all these sites.
I would like to know if I have to take out my sim card when using airalo.
No you do not need to take your physical
SIM card out

Getting ready to go to China. How did you solve the problem??

very informative vlog. Thanks for sharing
Its didn't work. A long work trying to fix it. At the end, thy decide to refund
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ! Still waiting after 12 hours! I gave up and deleted app, but of course no refund!
Not very good customer service, chat not working
Worked really well in South America, Japan …. Somehow US was trickier

I’m pretty sure iPhone 13 was the last iPhone to have an actual SIM card tray
you can buy date only version
Nobody answered my actual question. I think we’ll just pay to have full use of our phones.

Probably turn off roaming and choose which e-sim is primary
Works well in bangkok
Can I share it to my other phone?
@cybernews can you receive 2FA messages with eSIM? Such messages to verify bank account login.
Too complicated to follow. I asked for a refund and it was refused. It's a sucker's purchase. Sim cards are inexpensive at the airports.
Worst Customer Service there is none

yes it helped ❤🔥
Bad customer service. Cheats on data usage which is always off by 20% vs what iPhone shows.
