Ikr? It's stupid. It's basically implying that heavier black women with smaller chests aren't pretty enough to be sexualized. I don't think real people should be sexualized unless theyre an adult and theyve consented to it in some way but come on. Especially since they're fixing asian characters. Anime is originated in Japan and that's usually the location the stories take place in. Making white characters black or a person of color sometimes if they're from a show without a lot of poc representation is fine in my opinion, especially if you're a black or person of color artist, but not only is it kind of racist towards asian people when these people 'fix' all anime characters but it's also saying that they aren't good enough of a character unless they're a black woman and plus sized with smaller chests. I have a lot of ocs who are people of color and a couple who are chubby or fat, and I love all of them because I've created them and I enjoy making character designs., Drawing a lot of characters who are poc is fine but taking every white and skinny character you see and turning them black and plus sized is like saying "Oh, these people are white and skinny, therefore fatphobic and racist, I gotta fix that." It's ridiculous. Although racism against people of color is much more of a big issue than racism against white people, it still does work both ways. I fully support the increase in POC representation because I think everyone deserves acceptance regardless of their race or appearance. But what they're doing is different. I don't know if I'm allowed to speak in this situation since I'm white but what Vee is doing is definitely not right.
Rly makes u feel shitty as a flat chested woman like oops I don't have the sexy pass ig, not like that hasn't been a huge insecurity for myself and other girls like me 😳😳😳
@@lpsmurder Yeah. Don't worry though, there are tons of people who like flat chests!! But it really does suck. I'm 14 and a late bloomer so my chest is barely even there so I'm self conscious about it as well
It makes me feel horrible, I’m black (American-Nigerian) and overweight I have quite a big bust size for my age and it makes me insecure. That people could just think I’m ugly for super final things like this.
The worst thing about the Creepshow edit is that it was a commission to draw a real person. Like, that's just how the subject wanted to be presented. She is a skinny, white, blond lady. Wtf.
@@jessikacaroline72 Keep it to yourself. That doesn't matter. Just because her channel is "problematic" does not give a person the right to "fix" her art, especially if it was a drawing of an actual person. It's rude telling a person that the way they look, which they can't control, is racist and "fatphobic"
It's funny that there's a parallel to that with the Uzaki-chan thing, because a bunch of real women came forward during that whole kerfuffle to cosplay the character with their apparently "unrealistic" real life proportions that were basically a match. It was like some part of Twitter declared war on the "shortstacks," and they fired back with the, uh, big guns? That joke was dumb but I remain unrepentant on having made it.
I'm asian. I'm white, my friends and family some are white and some are black and everyone looks different, and I can understand that no matter HOW THEY LOOK they are as pretty/handsome as they are, no matter fat, skinny, white, black OR odd proportions. because everyone has they're own charm to their looks, like my birth mark that some might go and say (for an example) "UUURg yOuR SKiN ToNe in PErFeCt BuT ThAt BirTh mArk is tErRIbLe" but I get my mark from family generations, my mark comes from my mom which is why I think its rather special.
Sooo...she “desexualizes” characters by making them have darker skin, flatter chests, and make them more heavy....is she implying that those traits are ugly or can’t be sexualized? Ugh
as a chubby, hourglass, POC, tall woman, who is VERY sexy, zee doesnt know what shes talking about! us POC/chubby/flat chested/etc women are VERY sexy, and we are not ugly. everyone is beautiful in their own way. to me zee seems like a person who cancels every white person for breathing, or cancel every person who has a smaller waist and bigger upper and lower body and tell them their fatphobic. Zee seems to crticise but not take critisism (which is very obviously hypocrisy)
@@pineddew Exactly they make it seem as though people with different body types aren't beautiful when in reality every body type is beautiful no matter what
bc of all the fanservice in that game and how most of the characters appear to be white (they're all japanese tho except sonia and maybe angie), holy jesus please help us all
Saying you are "fixing someones" art can make the other person feel bad about their art. For example, what if the artist is a beginner? You're basically making them feel awful about their art, and for what? Aside from that, amazing art as always, I enjoy watching these!
So, uh, why do they make all of their “desexualized” art fixes by making the character overweight and black every time? I know that this probably isn’t intentional, but that kinda implies something.
@@aboredsadbean1770 Overweight is less desirable on any skin tone. Unless you're a fat fetishist. BBW is pretty much a "you're into it or you aren't" kinda thing. (It comes up a lot on DA.) Natural-healthy looking ratios have the mass appeal, and anything inflation-tier looks comical and only caters to specific kinks. It's one reason I can't like same-size vore. Women of color have the same physical beauty standards in my degenerate mind as lighter skin women.
The art of creepshow that was "fixed" was a commission, it was a drawing of an actual human person. They "fixed" how an actual person looks. Its disgusting
this zeena person is just getting the fame from other people works, I wonder why no one have stopped her from taking other people works and claim she's not stealing from it as she's just " Fixing it " this is almost as if she's saying that her version is the original.
I see this case, EVERYTIME an if Zee can only get fame from other's art by "fixing" then I wonder how good of a talent that will be when there's no suitable art to "fix"
@@jizzdabapu It is ugly tho. They redraw the drawings as fat or chubby black people. Edit: No im not body shaming, im black myself and I think its disrespectful that this artist draws us as fat and ugly.
You can "redraw" something not "fix" it. Redrawing is drawing something in your own style and this is more respectful than fixing because this "fixing" is telling artists that your version is the correct one while the original is wrong
the word "fixing" already makes me cringe in this situation. .that's not how you should treat people's characters they are trying so hard to make unique.
About the drawing made by Creepshow Art ( 6:40 ) That was art of a real person. Zeena "fixed" a real person, it seems like they didn't know but maybe Zeena should've done atleast a little bit of research before "fixing" a character.... or she should just- not fix them? My other opinions: The one of Momo Yaoyorozu from MHA was also kinda stupid Momo's power is Create, a superpower that allows her to create anything apart from living and edible things from her body, (someone in the series compared her power to pooping because the more Momo eats the more she can create). So Momo's hero costume shows a lot of skin so that she can easily work with her power.. if Zeena would've done some research on Momo they would understand why she's showing that much skin. And the Tsuyu Asui drawing (the one Zeena called Asai), Tsuyu's superpower is Frog, she can basically do whatever a frog can. Tsuyu has a long tongue and strong legs that allow her to cross far distances like a frog. If Tsu had a few extra pounds then she would have a lot of trouble using her power since she would have to deal with a lot more weight. And the Ochako Uraraka drawing... her power is Zero Gravity, a power that allows her to basically make herself, other people and objects ignore the laws of gravity, causing them to float. This time it doesn't have much to do with her power but more her situation in the series. Ochako is kinda broke and she sleeps to get rid of hunger, and that is why she is so skinny in the series, making her fatter wouldn't make any sense. (She wants to be a hero to get money for her and her family, and i almost cried for her ._.) AND all the MHA characters mentioned are Japanese, so it also makes *a bit* less sense to give them a darker skintone, (i am not saying dark skinned Japanese people dont exist at all) although it can be interesting to see how a story would go down if a character from lets say.. Japan was in America, and how different countries effect the original stories. But nope, Zeena called it fixing so that's automatically a big no for me. In my opinion, theres nothing wrong with being a little fatter than the rest, but when fatter than the rest turns into fat, turns into the unhealthy "I can't get up by myself, i can't fit in my own car" fat then maybe you should do something about it. Give me hate about my opinions all you want! :D
@@aboredsadbean1770 I know Dark skinned Japanese people exist. I said a bit less sense, i didnt really mean to sound like "Black japanese people dont exist" It's just something that some don't expect to see a lot Sorry if i came off like someone stupid-
Art is subjective and beauty is up to the beholder; you're allowed to criticize art and dislike it but ""fixing it"" is an insult to not only the original piece but also the artist EDIT: I am OBSESSED with the lineart in this speedpaint like ohmygod that hair and frills look so GOOD.
That's what I'm thinking. I went to school with a girl that had a really flat stomach and thin legs and overall was really thin except she had a bubble-butt and Huge Breasts and she had a baby-face even though she was an adult. She had the exact same body proportions as Uzaki-chan. I thought this whole not sexualizing was about accepting all proportions, but I remember the other girls where talking about the girl, saying that she's got a mismatched body. It's mean to say these bodies don't exist.
Not only that, but the girls from mha are literally hero’s in training fighting crime- they’re going to be thinner due to the fact they’re training to run around and save people
To be honest, I think people who "fix" art, are just people who think they're entitled to change someone's work to how they want it and don't take into consideration how the original artist feels, what they were trying to say, or the style they were trying to go for. The kind of people who think the world revolves around them and that everyone should agree with them or else they're against a certain thing.
Isn’t race bending just blackwashing/whitewashing (or doing something else to) characters? It just doesn’t sound right to me and it feels like an insult to their own race or ethnicity
@@youre764 no! there is a lack of black representation in media so a lot of black artists participate in blacktober to see themselves in those characters but with white washing, it is only done with a negative intention to either make people mad or be racist. there are plenty of white characters its not an insult for black artists to want to see themselves in shows
@@sunny-xc8hx yeah nvm I just realized there’s a difference between blackwashing a character and claiming to “fix” it and trying to see yourself in a character, it’s still kinda weird to me but I’ll respect it if they’re not being problematic or if the character is supposed to be someone from real life
You can redesign a character, but don’t call it fixed! Say this: “I love this character, and made them in my own style and made them look a bit different!”!
did they seriously say CREEPSHOW ART is afraid to draw fat women?? i’m not a very big fan of shannon but she draws plus size women all the time?? wtf???
I have also watched Shannon (Creepshow Art) draw black women multiple times. Woman's clearly not "afraid" of drawing anyone. She literally just happened to draw a skinny blonde white woman *who happens to be a real person.*
Oh what I’m early but I love the speed paint! It’s so pretty edit : making a character chubby and black isn’t fixing them, you can draw them however you want but don’t just change a whole design and say it’s fixed
It’s not hard to just y’know ask an artist: “can I draw your character in my style?” “Do you mind if I redraw this?” “Is it okay if I try drawing your character like this?” Etc etc ✨🌸getting people’s permission is fun🌸✨
The comment makes sense if I want to redraw someone's OC, But what if I want to redraw a character from a huge company, like Nightcap from Plants vs Zombies: Battle from Neighborville (an EA/Popcap game)? Do I have to e-mail EA to get their permission?
@@geraniumbonbon idk if this is sarcastic or not but, That counts as fanart for something you like, with smaller creators (or generally accounts used for one person’s artwork), their oc’s could be very personal or special to them and unless they’ve stated that they enjoy fanart in the past I do suggest asking permission
The problem with the Creepshow Art one specifically is that she redrew a commission of a real person-a real, skinny, white woman. That’s why everyone is mad at her at least as far as her interactions with Creepshow goes.
Here's my take: I usaully ignore this stuff cause Ive adopted the mindset of 'if I dont like it, and if it truly has no affect on me, then I do not care. When people say that someones art is too sexy I just think that they dont realize that anyone can find anything sexy and when they try too not sexualize women by: making them plus sized, flat chested, dark skinned, or hairy your basically saying they cant be found attractive (or atleast how I see it) When someone makes a character i usaully think that their making the character as a dream version of them, something that resembles them in a way, or that their using the backstory and setting of their character. If the design doesnt really matter to the plot then the designer can have free range. Ive realized that when I make a character they mainly look like me a bit sprinkled with some features i wish I had, so I try to think of their interests, backstory and some times where they live and their geneology. And i put time and effort in that which is why I find it a bit upsetting when someone tries to undo that work an artist did. I get that you think the design could have a diffrent spin but no one knows the character better than the designer. And my final thing, I get people want to create diversity like no problem but it really does nothing when you take a pre existing character and make a whole lot of modifications. I get that some people want to be represented but I prefer you have diversity becuase you want to rather than you need to. But I am willing to see other's point of views, feel free to give your take, Im always willing to change my mind😄.
Honestly I agree with that. I have two characters based off of myself, one of which is my persona. If someone came in and just went "I don't like this design so I fixed it!!" I would get pretty mad and sad.
I just realized something............,since there so capable of performing these "Fixes" why don't they just draw their own versions of it or completely different from the person's original......like you said if they feel as tho there's not ENOUGH diversity then what's stopping them from fixing that by creating and adding on to overcome the lack of diversity....why go the extra mile,if you don't like it move on and create your own visionary piece .......but don't go acting all like some major art professor and tear down another person's piece of work...that's just garbage.....
I blame the whole "turning characters into a different race sexuality etc" thing on the fact American culture especially is so reliant on the past. some of the most popular characters have been around for almost a century, and most industries are so creatively bankrupt the most creative thing they can think of is a postmodern take on a really old franchise that's been poked and proddeded for decades. From that lens, I can understand why people would want to uh... "Blackwash" characters to get more representation. But on the other hand, it speaks what is in my opinion, a much bigger problem in entertainment, which is causing many of thewe issues to arise. also I understand where people are coming from when talking about specific "sexualized characters". Like the generic big boobed waifu bait or the loli girl that barely covers the legal line. Just because something is art doesn't mean it can't be pandering, propaganda is art too, after all. And in these specific cases, it feels more like pandering to degenerates rather than making something genuinely meaningful. Even then, you shouldn't try to "fix" it. Because by doing that, not only do you disrespect the artist and the idea of subjectivity, you scrub all over a piece of history with crayon.
I'm really tired of "fixing" art. I always see people do this to a character named Sakura Ogami. Some people try to say, oh it's before she started working out! It's not wrong! But they literally change her skin color from dark to the palest white, and then give her a skinny curvy body, when if you look up a real picture of her she looks NOTHING like that. PLEASE JUST DRAW HER AS HER OWN SKIN COLOR. WILL HER BODY SHAPE AND STOP SAYING SHE " LOOKS BETTER" SKINNY! SHE'S BUFF GET OVER IT!
Wait, but in her official art, before she started working out, she had a fair complexion I guess, she got tan from working out outdoors as her family has a dodjo Both versions are valid imo
Did you see the Love Live ones!!?!???!! As a serious Love Live! fan I was disgusted like I don’t even really like Nozomi she’s alright but wth! Like why? And Nico being my favorite character hurtttt
I also “fixed” someone’s art. However, it’s not fixing. I just adjusted the drawing to fit *my* style and *my* likings. I didn’t post it, in case she liked my redraw more then hers, and would get upset by it. I kept it to myself for a learning experience. I suggest doing this *ONLY* for learning purposes and *NOT* to hurt others.

11:46 This is the first time I hear Yuki actually swearing. It feels so off to me when I hear a "bullshit" come out of that sweet, gentle, motherly voice
Like dang they just can't find another character to draw that suits their own tastes so they choose to "fix" said character that needs "fixing". Shit like this makes me want to download twitter and troll the hell out of everyone in the twitter art community lol.
Tbh I feel like what they did to their acc is even worse that all those "fixed" drawings,, I mean, what if they weren't a troll?? It makes me sad seeing how everyone praised the hacker and contributed in humiliating them,,
Yeah and they made nsfw artwork of someone who was clearly against any sexualizing of women Not to mention that they could be a minor (I think they mentioned having a fiancee but I refer to my bf as my wife so yea) And it's in the hijab which I don't know much about their religion but I've seen a lot of people with the same/similar religions say its extremely offensive
You know... Roughly 10 years ago I would call this "art fix" an obvious troll... But I'm not sure these days. I've seen much (not essentially in art community) stuff that would, under normal circumstances be considered a painfully obvious attempt at trolling... And it turned out to be legit. Heck, I've seen attempts at trolling that turned into legit stuff - one of those attempts grew into a massive fandom, by the way. The bottom line is - these days, even if something looks like a troll, smells like a troll and sounds like a troll... it may still not be a troll. The line between parody and reality became so thin, it may just as well not exist.
Honestly, you cannot "fix" someone else's art. It's their art. It's their art style. It may not be appealing to you, but that doesn't mean it's "bad art", and you don't have to fix it.
it's ok to draw curvy wxmen. it's ok to draw skinny wxmen. it's ok to draw wxmen in between. it's ok to draw black wxmen. it's ok to draw brown wxmen. it's ok to draw indigenous wxmen. it's ok to draw east asian wxmen. it's ok to draw mixed wxmen. it's ok to draw white wxmen. your female/nonbinary oc can look however you want them to look and they do not need fixing because they are always beautiful no matter what they look like. if you don't like it, you can absolutely make your own interpretation of that character, or you can choose to ignore them, but you should never say that you "fixed" someone else's art just because you made a character fit the representations you wanted to see. changing a character's design or drawing them in your style is one thing, saying that your version is superior because of the way they look is another, and it's wrong.
YOUR ART IS AMAZING PLZ KEEP DOING DEM SPEED PAINTS ;W; i rlly get inspired by ur art especially on drawing hair eyes and dressess thank you for existing xD💖💖
Hey! A tip for CSP, if you draw the lineart on a vector layer, it speeds up the process when erasing overlapping lines! Theres a short tutorial CSP posted on their channel.
I'm going to say this now: *it is impossible to fix another persons art* Art is presented in so many forms, and the artist will choose how they want it to appear. Fixing the art you have made is self-improvement. But a third party attempting to change it as a whole? They only wish to alter another persons hard work because it doesn't fit their own criteria. It's so selfish. Like, if you don't like someone's art, then sit down, leave them tf alone, and make your own - It's not Zee's, or ANYONE ELSE'S place to judge how someone draws, sexually or not. 🤚🙄
13:20 Yeah, exactly!! Cause just because YOU don't like the characters that are thiccer or more "sexualized" doesn't mean there are no people out there who do like those character designs. And no, we're not all "gross old men" who like the sexy female designs or even the modest female designs who just have voluptuous features. Like, having big boobs/hips is not inherently sexual and I really really hate that there are people out there who like to act like it is.
Even if someone is bad at drawing/making OCs, don't fix it. Instead redesign it or redraw it, that's the right way to do it. Fixing sounds entitled (if that's the right word). My friend made a character that I wanna draw but the clothing is too neon for me? Maybe redesign it with less neons. I made a character a few years back that I really liked but its low quality? Maybe redraw it with higher quality! Fixing implies that it's better than the original. The only chance of it maybe being better than the original is if the original artist thinks it's better and decides to change the original character to your redesign.
Also with the creepshow art being fixed, I believe watching other videos on Z, I believe the art piece of creepshows art that Z "fixed" it was a commission
I am myself a beginner artist. My art is not good, proportions are bad, etc, but its because i am learning. If anyone took my art and "fixed it", it wouldnt help me or any other beginner artist. It would just be heartbreaking :(
Just downvote them and then block the artist that "fixed" the drawing and was being rude. I wouldn't give the the time of day, that would mean cloud for them too.
Firstly, I want to say Zee just isn’t good at art. They can’t draw legs, they wrongly colored dark skin (i once saw one of her “fixes” with literally GREEN skin for a human), they blackwashed characters of different races - which you would think isn’t a thing, but it’s very common in anti-Asian behaviors - and they “desexualized” these characters by making them obese and pear-shaped with a lot of body hair and different faces. They completely redesign characters in their “image,” which I honestly think at this point is some weird shit done by a white or light-skinned person who just converted to Islam and uses the religion as an aesthetic and fashion. I do not condone behavior that disrespects religions like what they have done. It just seems like they’re an aggressive, sex-repulsed asexual and they take it out by destroying popular characters to make themself feel better for being supposedly large. Luckily, they’re no longer posting this shit to twitter.
I like seeing people's take on characters, they can be cool and inspiring! I love seeing other people's takes on characters. But saying you fixed a character isn't okay! A character will never be fixed because everyone has different perspectives on that character and how they "should" look. You can redraw characters but don't say you "fixed it"!
What infuriates me more is that as a My Hero fan, Zee just completely ignores the context behind Asui(Frog girl), Yaoyorozu(Black ponytail), and Uraraka(Pink brunette) and this is goes for other art fixers. They just ignore the lore and artistic intent behind certain designs in persuit their version of a morally right design Long ramble ahead but this has honestly irked me for a while Asui has the powers and appearance of a frog, thats why her hands and feet are so big, and if you look at a frog thats jumping, you can see that they're naturally thin, so it makes sense that Asui is also thin Yaoyorozu can make objects out of the lipids(fat) in her body. So as long as she keeps using her quirk(her power), which she has to since she literally attends a school that trains heroes and has ambitions to become one, she's literally incapable of becoming fat Uraraka's quirk, that being able to make objects immune to gravity, doesn't really relate to her body type. But you have to remember that she has a distictly round face, so she's not perfectly thin. And plus, she along with Asui and Yaoyorozu are young, active teenagers who, again, attend a school that trains heroes. Yes you can be fat and still be active and healthy, theres even a kid in the same school also training to be a hero who's fat, but it doesn't make sense to make everyone fat just because And lastly, these characters are JAPANESE and the story takes place in JAPAN. Japan is a very homogenous country and much of the population are naturally light-skinned and thin. Yes there are exeptions but thats just how they naturally look like. And the few characters who aren't Japanese are usually American, like the Shields and Pony TL;DR: I already dislike art fixers who think they're the moral saviour of art, but I hate it when they blatantly ignore the context behind certain character designs just cuz they don't like them for being white, thin, and 'sexualized' I may have gone on to defend My Hero, but my point is that its important to learn about these contexts before casting full judgement. Sure you still may not like the character even after learning about these, and thats fine, but going out of your way to be an obnoxious brat about it and claiming your 'fixed' design is way better than the original is just not good Troll or not, Zee did an injustice to the My Hero ladies as well as characters from other anime and purpetuated an already bad problem in the art community (Also the Creepshow comission one that ones just horrible I can't-)
Most of the time I don’t like seeing any “fixed” art. The only exception, to me, is character designs made by a corporation that you wanna tweak and change up *for fun.* Designers put a lot of effort into their work and it’s probably really disheartening to see their hard work “fixed.” I’ll admit that I’m currently redoing some outfits for TV show characters but that’s just for fun and not because I have a problem with the original designs. It’s really something I’m doing as an easy practice before actually making outfits for my own characters from scratch. On that note, redesigning outfits for pre-existing TV characters is a good way to practice studying what’s most important when designing clothes for your own characters. Just don’t do it out of malice or because the clothes are “too revealing” or something stupid like that. Just do it for fun and practice. That’s just my opinion on the whole “fixing” art matter, though. To whoever’s reading this: have a good day/night!

I’m dumb I know-
the word "fixing" already makes me cringe in this situation. .that's not how you should treat people's characters they are trying so hard to make unique.
About the drawing made by Creepshow Art ( 6:40 )
That was art of a real person.
Zeena "fixed" a real person, it seems like they didn't know but maybe Zeena should've done atleast a little bit of research before "fixing" a character.... or she should just- not fix them?
My other opinions:
The one of Momo Yaoyorozu from MHA was also kinda stupid
Momo's power is Create, a superpower that allows her to create anything apart from living and edible things from her body, (someone in the series compared her power to pooping because the more Momo eats the more she can create).
(She wants to be a hero to get money for her and her family, and i almost cried for her ._.)
AND all the MHA characters mentioned are Japanese, so it also makes *a bit* less sense to give them a darker skintone, (i am not saying dark skinned Japanese people dont exist at all) although it can be interesting to see how a story would go down if a character from lets say..
Dark skinned Japanese people exist (they're dreadfully under represented so I get why u didn't know about them but yeah) but besides that yesssss
@@aboredsadbean1770 I know Dark skinned Japanese people exist.

Sorry if i came off like someone stupid-
Mha is also a Shōnen series, meaning it would be trying harder to “appeal to the male gaze” if that’s what you’d like to call it
That blit is an immediate hell no for me! I don’t take kindly to anti-Japanese or anti-White “fixers” of art. Talk about racist and misandrist!
With the mha stuff there's also the point of the kids working their asses off every day to become heroes. I think they'd be slim or buff even
Art is subjective and beauty is up to the beholder; you're allowed to criticize art and dislike it but ""fixing it"" is an insult to not only the original piece but also the artist
EDIT: I am OBSESSED with the lineart in this speedpaint like ohmygod that hair and frills look so GOOD.
Do people forget that in Japan, there are rarely fat people and it isn't rare to see a girl with big breasts and to be skinny :|

@@vicious_vixel those people always forget that light skin ≠ white :/

The problem with the Creepshow Art one specifically is that she redrew a commission of a real person-a real, skinny, white woman. That’s why everyone is mad at her at least as far as her interactions with Creepshow goes.
Everybody: listening to what she says
Me: *crying because how well she did those ruffles*
Here's my take:
I usaully ignore this stuff cause Ive adopted the mindset of 'if I dont like it, and if it truly has no affect on me, then I do not care.
When people say that someones art is too sexy I just think that they dont realize that anyone can find anything sexy and when they try too not sexualize women by: making them plus sized, flat chested, dark skinned, or hairy your basically saying they cant be found attractive (or atleast how I see it)
When someone makes a character i usaully think that their making the character as a dream version of them, something that resembles them in a way, or that their using the backstory and setting of their character.
Oof sorry for the long read

I subbed as soon as I heard "Hello every bunny" and looked at your name
6:50 oh and to add to this, the original artist made this as a picture of a fan- yes a real person
I'm going to say this now:
*it is impossible to fix another persons art*
Art is presented in so many forms, and the artist will choose how they want it to appear.
🤚🙄
THIS
The way you draw is unique! I would trace it and then outline it, but you outline a bit and then like put some color! I love it!
can we just talk about how CRISP and SMOOTH their art is?? LOOK AT ALL THOSE FRILLS AND CREVICES HOW IS THAT HUMANELY POSSIBLE??
I have to say... I’m obsessed with your art 🤩🤩🤩
13:20
Yeah, exactly!!
The only chance of it maybe being better than the original is if the original artist thinks it's better and decides to change the original character to your redesign.
can i just say that whenever i watch your videos I instantly want to draw, thank you
Also with the creepshow art being fixed, I believe watching other videos on Z, I believe the art piece of creepshows art that Z "fixed" it was a commission
Yukibunns: *talks about art fixing*
Me: omg damn you draw the ruffles in detail BY HAND?! ( O∆O)
She calls that line A NOSE
When that’s how you draw noses:
👁💧|💧👁
Imagine blackwashing
ASIAN 👏 ANIME 👏
CHA👏RAC👏TERS👏
Ohh! Her character that she drew is so beautiful!!!!💖🥰
I am myself a beginner artist. My art is not good, proportions are bad, etc, but its because i am learning. If anyone took my art and "fixed it", it wouldnt help me or any other beginner artist. It would just be heartbreaking :(
Fixing art is basically body shaming
Imagine working hard on a drawing and then post it online. Only to wake up next morning and see its been “fixed”
Just downvote them and then block the artist that "fixed" the drawing and was being rude.
I wouldn't give the the time of day, that would mean cloud for them too.
"i am not of this realm any longer"
i get ya sister XD
I mostly watch for your speedpaints and I would just like to say I love your art style and attention to detail.
Off topic but I’m just admiring the BEAUTIFUL SPEEDPAINT IN THE BACKGROUND 😭😭
They just ignore the lore and artistic intent behind certain designs in persuit their version of a morally right design
Long ramble ahead but this has honestly irked me for a while
Asui has the powers and appearance of a frog, thats why her hands and feet are so big, and if you look at a frog thats jumping, you can see that they're naturally thin, so it makes sense that Asui is also thin
Yaoyorozu can make objects out of the lipids(fat) in her body. So as long as she keeps using her quirk(her power), which she has to since she literally attends a school that trains heroes and has ambitions to become one, she's literally incapable of becoming fat
Uraraka's quirk, that being able to make objects immune to gravity, doesn't really relate to her body type. But you have to remember that she has a distictly round face, so she's not perfectly thin. And plus, she along with Asui and Yaoyorozu are young, active teenagers who, again, attend a school that trains heroes. Yes you can be fat and still be active and healthy, theres even a kid in the same school also training to be a hero who's fat, but it doesn't make sense to make everyone fat just because
And lastly, these characters are JAPANESE and the story takes place in JAPAN. Japan is a very homogenous country and much of the population are naturally light-skinned and thin. Yes there are exeptions but thats just how they naturally look like. And the few characters who aren't Japanese are usually American, like the Shields and Pony
TL;DR: I already dislike art fixers who think they're the moral saviour of art, but I hate it when they blatantly ignore the context behind certain character designs just cuz they don't like them for being white, thin, and 'sexualized'
I may have gone on to defend My Hero, but my point is that its important to learn about these contexts before casting full judgement. Sure you still may not like the character even after learning about these, and thats fine, but going out of your way to be an obnoxious brat about it and claiming your 'fixed' design is way better than the original is just not good
Troll or not, Zee did an injustice to the My Hero ladies as well as characters from other anime and purpetuated an already bad problem in the art community
(Also the Creepshow comission one that ones just horrible I can't-)
Your art is beautiful especially the colours/shading, plus you have common sense. Subscribed
I love how you are respectful of everyone's opinions, and making it clear that good art is a matter of opinion.
pov: your looking in the comments for angry twwiter stan people
When it’s 6am and I haven’t slept
Meeeeee 😭
WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO JOLYNE AAAAAAAAAAAH-
Edit: YASUHO AND TRISH TOO??? LISA LISA?!
ok that togami “i fixed it” tweet is really good
Could you do a hair tutorial on how to color and draw hair? The way you do hair is amazing!
Zee is basically saying that body hair, woman with boobs, and Asian people, and black people are ugly! That makes me so mad!
7:05 that was also a portrait of a real person the original artist was commissioned to draw. Zee made an ugly parody of an actual person.
Most of the time I don’t like seeing any “fixed” art. The only exception, to me, is character designs made by a corporation that you wanna tweak and change up *for fun.* Designers put a lot of effort into their work and it’s probably really disheartening to see their hard work “fixed.”
I’ll admit that I’m currently redoing some outfits for TV show characters but that’s just for fun and not because I have a problem with the original designs.
To whoever’s reading this: have a good day/night!
i love how she puts many layers but all them are neat :0
and yes these art fixing vids are annoying
