Thanks for the insightful discussion! It is so useful when pro windsurfers are able to talk about the complicated topics and express themselves clearly.

Oh man. That was superb Graham. Biggest take away from that discussion for me is focussing on the move, on what you’re trying to do and seeing that outcome positively rather than thinking about failure points and crashing and not achieving your goal. I sat and listed to the whole thing with my eyes closed to visualise what you and Sarah were saying - that was good too. Look forward to the next one. Awesome job. Cheers. Paul 🤙

Excellent. I allways get inspired and concentrate on a rider for each move, and picture how they go through it. Knowing beforehand that it is a long process and assuming that path is a big part of it for me...

About small phrases and mantras, one thing comes to my mind which i think is usefull is for example for the frontloop. As an example we should look, back, ok but it is not so pragmatic. when sometimes i feel i don't do it enough , i prefer saying to myself : try to see the guy which is behind me when i frontloop! and it is for me more effective and more real. so also with this image all comes to my mind quickly

Very interesting and informative. I find the format easy to digest.
My riding greatly let down by difficulty with timing the start of my bottom turn with when the lip is going to throw.
I’m inching toward smacking chunky lips. And want to learn airials.

So much of value in this, for all levels of the sport. Windsurfing is so complex that we need to break everything we learn into small pieces. I really like the idea of having one image in your head to work on, rather than one word or description. I’m a visual learner and this would really help me.

Thanks Graham, really interesting. I am working on Duck Tack (and soon on Forward Loop on your course, I hope).
