For being 23 yrs old, Your jetski looks pristine. I just prepped my ski for last trip of the summer, Campland in San Diego. I oxidized the whole body, shiny red, replaced Mats w/ nice black cushion ones. Looking good but not as good as yours! :)
I think you start it before you run the water. Like dry run for 10-15 sec, then run. Make sure water off before killing it. Hit the throttle before killing it to clear it

i checked my oil lines a few hours ago were can I order oem or after market oil lines😞 all three lines have broken like potatoe chips and oil ran out . ski was setting up for while in a garage. oil lines were hard and brittle
@@corbino2328 where can I order parts for this thing. im rebuilding mine also i got it from a good friend but the battery needs replacing and i need to order the 3 oil lines to the carbs also need the oil tank hose

That ski is in really great shape. Does your front end dive under water when you slow to a stop? I just got this same style running and mine does that and is taking on water.

Yeah you can drain the inside with the drain plugs. Or if you just mean the sides then you just push it out with a sponge. I washed it off with a hose that’s why it was full at the end
I mean it is a big engine for what it is. 3 cylinder 2 strokes aren’t going to get good fuel economy but I wouldn’t let that discourage you. I run about half a tank of gas in one day but I only take it out for a few hours. You could probably ride all day on one tank.
Omar Valenzuela i just cut the fuel line to the carburetor and put it in between the line on each side of the hose. If you do this make sure you cut the fuel intake not the return line because one puts unused gas back into the gas tank after letting it sit.
@@aviation421 yeah if you often take your ski in the ocean it is good to get the salt water out of your engine because salt water ruins everything. I’d definitely get one

I’m not sure why that would be happening to be honest. I’m not to familiar with this ski I just got it but if its loosing power take the carb apart and make sure any of the holes aren’t plugged up. Maybe you need a new fuel filter as well or spark plugs. To the overheating I have no idea why that would happen. I would make sure that a good amount of water is coming out the side of the ski where it exits after cooling the engine. If that’s blocked up or something is blocking the part that sucks water into the exhaust to cool it then it would overheat.
Mine doesn't lift enough. Does not accelerate much. Only un to 6 and no more. We ran out of oíl and from that day on it did not give more. We could do more to you. But it doesn't accelerate enough anymore, what can I do please
Roxana Garcia Martinez I don’t know exactly. You need oil in it to make the engine run properly. If you ran it for a day without oil it might have damaged the engine since it’s 2 stroke. If it’s not the engine you might need to take the carburetor apart for a clean and make sure everything’s working right inside.
ron burgandy this ski has a two piece seat so the smaller one on the back comes off first with a small latch behind it and the bigger ones the same once you get the small one off.

It doesn’t matter if it’s on for a few seconds before you flush it. Just don’t leave it on and forget to run it or the water could get into the engine

You really should make sure the oil lines going to the carbs are not hard and brittle. I would change them out.
I’ve checked them already. Almost everything in the engine bay was like new because this thing was garage kept. The hoses are solid

Hey, the flush kit came on the Ski. I’m pretty sure this one came on it stock when it was new but I don’t know for sure

Check oil pump and hoses
Check your jet pump bearings and overfill valve

My STX did this and I had to replace the jet pump bearings and the impellor.
