I would keep the oil injection it more reliable then premix. In the Keihin carbs the internal filter often partially clogs restricting fuel and those oil. If you want to safe run direct inject and run 100:1 premix
I've got a new 900cc engine in my 1998 jet ski, but no spark... There is a black wire with red stripes & I'm not sure where to hook it up. I saw it on your video. Where does it go? Does it go on the negative terminal of the battery? Thanks
Really like the content super helpful I have the same exact ski rn I just need to replace the electrical box n cdi but it's my first time dealing with electrical is it smarter just to pay for a whole new box or try n replace each piece myself?
I really all depends on what's available at the time I was having a hard time finding a complete Box so I ended up buying the part separately I would prefer to buy a complete Box that I knew came from running ski
@@freshaziisfreshaziis5064 50:1 is the maximum mixture at full throttle with the oiling system and that can go as high as 100:1 at idle. I run straight 50:1. 40-45:1 for break in.
That thing you called a choke is a primer pump, pull and push it in and out to send fuel to the carbs. you was doing real good up until that point then I lost interest.

Amazing video, it has helped me tremendously so thank you! Where were you able to find the service manual - I would love to have it.

Stupid question, are you on the west coast? Maybe work/install new engine on mine?
I need to get an 1100 rebuilt for a 2000 zxi. I got lucky just had 1 piston go, rod stayed intack no case damage. Who did you have build your engine?
Power water craft PWC in long island New York
Put a primer kit on it. Solves that cold start issue.
Hey mate great video. Did you notice any power gain after refreshing the engine?
Yes I did tremedous
@@m.s.r.makeshitrun2076 what is the proper premix?? i was using 40:1 but heard that might be to much oil

On yours it may be but mine is stock and it has a choke I assure you
