  • In this episode I go over some of the work done to my 1998 Kawasaki STX 1100 including replacing the MFD, replacing fuel lines and the fuel petcock, and replacing some cooling hoses and the main exhaust hose.
    There will be about 6 parts in this series including water testing and a shootout between the two skis at the end of the series.

    Looking great. Man I see how bad that ski looks and how poorly it was cared for. Makes me kinda regret scrapping my 97 a few months ago. My engine and bilge were still pretty clean. Seats and paint were great. Good luck!

    Good thing you caught that fuel line setup JD. That could of been bad. Looks like the previous owner did whatever they could to keep it running even if it was using questionable methods.

      Haha yep! I don’t mess around with fuel related stuff like that- especially on PWC- they literally explode and shoot the rider into the air..can’t believe someone did that!

      Thanks for watching man! It’s amazing how well the old Kawi has held up after being abused and used for 25 years

    Can you give me some information about where the fuel regulator in? How operates

    • @JDsWaterWorld
      @JDsWaterWorld  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is the carbureted version so there is no regulator- there is the main petcock/pickup on the tank, then one fuel pump on the aft side of the carb stack…

      Myself and my son are kinda in the same shape you were when u got ur ski. Where does the hose go, that comes off the sensor you replaced? Is that a water temp sensor, under the storage compartment?

      @erikthered3601 the hose goes to a fitting on the side of the hull. Some people call it the pisser.
