Hi all. Can someone tell me if it is normal for a peated whiskey to change a lot in the first days after opening the bottle? It happened to me with a bottle of ardbeg 10, I feel that the level of smoking decreased a lot. I have no experience with peated whiskeys, and little with whiskeys in general.
Radek Przyborowski In a video not long ago Horst said he designed the glass and had it produced exclusively the company owned by her wife and himself. I suppose you can find it in whisky.de. They only ship whisky to Germany, but maybe they can send the glass to other countries.
Am privileged enough to have a bottle of this whisky. Have to say, its fantastic, but I still think I prefer the 10! Specially for the price difference...

talisker is my favorite single malt with ardbeg being a close second
