Video games are an Artform, Too many people sleep on that fact.
It's nice when there are games that come out and remind everyone of that fact. Too many titles on the marketplace today are just sorely lacking in identity, and were developed with even less passion.
When I look at games like DOOM, Ghost of Tsushima, and even Death Stranding, I can see that there is something special there. Each game may have vastly differing themes and play styles, but it's easy to see that there was some love put into the development of those games.
I played Shadow of the Colossus to show off to a friend some time ago, and she couldn't take it seriously, just kept cracking jokes at how I clibed on the butt of the first boss. I will never forgive her for that insolence. Oh, she also mocked the emotional scene in REmake 2 where Sherry mourns her mother's death. See this is why I rarely show other people what I like, because it just gets ridiculed. That's how it has always been with me, like I remember back in school I described my then favorite music track to a classmate to help me find it, and when he did, he for some reason thought the whole fucking class should know it.
@@PikaLink91 To be fair. The first couple Resident Evil games were very B-movie horror. There's a lot to joke about. Plus, Sherry's mother is kind of a bitch, imo. I couldn't find much sympathy for her. Hell, even Sherry seems to get over her death pretty fast, judging by her emotional state at the end of the game.
It's not like your friend was mocking the death of Joel's daughter in The Last of Us. Now THAT was a rough moment that I don't think many can poke fun at.
I think these people are a dying breed slowly going away.
I could literally watch you all day. You could be sat talking about different types of dryer sheets and i would still be invested. Keep up the excellent work :-)

I absolutely buy a game multiple times on different platforms/consoles. I think it gives a nice bit of variety and helps keep a game that you've spent many hours with from becoming stale; playing a game on the Switch feels drastically different than playing it on, say, the PC. This change in the way the game "feels" when you play it again on a different console can make even a longtime classic offer a fresh gaming experience. Also, it's a big relief to hear that I'm not the only one who reaches for their Switch first thing when they wake up in the morning. ^.^

I really like how your enthusiasm shows when you talk about the games you enjoy; seeing the way your eyes sparkle when you smile and make a gesture with your hands, that's something a person does with they are genuinely into what they're talking about. That sincerity, combined with your excellent editing and presentation work, and your wonderful personality, is why so many of us appreciate you and love your channel. Keep up the amazing work.

I have bought a bunch of games multiple times. Diablo 3 and Skyrim each 3 times (xbox 360, PS4 and Switch). You are not alone. Some games are just like comfort food and can be played endlessly.
I have literally bought DOOM 2016 on every platform. PC, Xbone, PS4, and finally on Switch. The PC version was to test my brother's gaming rig (works great). Beyond that, the PS4 and xbone are in different rooms, and the Switch's portability gave it a unique appeal for playing DOOM on the go. It also helps that I'm an id Software fanboy and would gladly pay to support them.
@@giorgiomacchi6428 I specified DOOM 2016 because it was the most financially feasible to purchase on each platform. I literally paid $5 dollars for it on the PS4.
Also, DOOM Eternal isn't available on the Switch.

I can relate to this video so much in ways, esp not understanding ppl who do not game, their free time lol. I was not able to game for a long time and coming back to it recently, I feel so much more like myself if that makes sense. And yes to same game on multiple systems I would feel weird about it but hearing you talk about it, I feel a little less weird haha.
Also, I want to say thank you for the videos, I am glad to be a subscriber. I came for your Atelier videos but stayed for all the other games you play that I would not have tried otherwise but did because feel like if you enjoy a game, I might too. And I have! Borderlands 2 was my first looter shooter game I couldn’t stop playing when it released! It felt so rewarding loved the loot and also the game kept on giving with the amazing dlc omg so good

I'm partial to the theory that it's just a matter of finding the right game. If you have a switch, Animal Crossing would be my first recommendation. A game that's easy to get into without any stress is always a great entry point for new players. Alternatively, maybe find a game that aligns with her personal interest. Is she a horror fan? If so, try playing Until Dawn with her and treat it like a movie night. Something along those lines, ya know?

It's funny because when I go on Tinder (yes don't judge me) many profiles say that they like reading a book or watching a movie. Now the latter I can get behind, but books? I know for a fact that in 2020 no one besides reviewers/bloggers read books xD I am convinced they only say that to sound smart and attractive.
@@freaky_spirit8011 Do you like puzzles? If so the Phoenix Wright and Zero Escape games might be worth checking out. They're some of my favorites.
If you prefer something with action, anything made by Platinum Studios is great. I spent a LOT of time with both Astral Chain and Vanquish. Their Transformers game is also fantastic.
A portable monitor is a pretty cool idea to combine with a pstv. Nice video I like the variety of gaming you do.

My first sniper game was played when i was a kid. It required patience, accuracy and 1 egg. I'd wait in my backyard for the local bus to drive past my house and time it right so I could hit it with my egg.

You’re right in that Tsúshima (i.e. accent on the first syllable) sounds 100x times closer to the correct pronunciation in Japanese than Tsushíma. I should know, I’m from Japan.

Double and triple dipping is just part of being a gamer. Plus games that you know are awesome already like Diablo 3 are just too tempting to be able to play on the switch in handheld mode.

Sniper Elite has a side series in the Zombie Army games that are a lot of fun as well. I've only got one Diablo 1,2,3. But for some reason I've got every version of all the Resident Evil games I can get my hands on. And I've got about 4 copies of Victor Vran !! Great video as always !!!!

Paper Mario is a masterpiece, so well-written and the soundtrack is amazing. The puzzles are very fun. Getting rid of EXP and tying progression to discovered secrets and advancing the story was smart, there are more than enough RPGs that involve grinding and necessary encounters. This game puts the gameplay focus on exploration, puzzles and platforming (including dodging enemies, since very few battles are actually necessary to complete the game) and thematically reduces EXP, MP and other mainstay RPG currencies to coins and Toads (you acquire coins, spend them for weapon/stat upgrades and for special powers like puzzle completion help or healing spells). It's very much one of the best games on Switch. It's like Zelda (simple environmental puzzles and semi-open but gated structure), Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (miniature locales that hide secrets cleverly), and simple puzzle game all combined seamlessly.
I think if people go into it with an open mind and aren't tied to this opinion on EXP, as they advance the story they'll be impressed by the variety of gameplay genres on offer and the polish of every aspect of the game.

I love your excitement! ! its a cool thing to hear. I liked origami king. But i do admit it is my first paper mario game so maybe thats why i liked it. Except the shy guys quiz show. I hated every second of that . I did find there is a leveling system kind of because when you find hearts your max hp increases and you do get stronger and can wipe out weaker enemies faster but there's no grinding and i actually like to do that. I also loved borderlands 3.

I would morning bed game, but I am always so greasy in the morning. Like, I am a very oily person. That's also why I have stopped using a headset (one of the reason, the other being that they physically hurt my ears), because it takes no time for them to get completely oiled up by my greasy ears.

I loved Ghosts of Sushi so much that I wanted to get the platinum. And I'm a guy that don't care all that much for trophies/achievements. Lets hope Sucker Punch releases a new game plus soon. I bought Borderlands 2 on PS3, Xbox360, PS4, XboxOne, PC, and now the Switch. 👀👀

Ah yes, thank god im not the only one triple and quadruple dipping games. Lots of people double dip buying games, but not more then that. I bought Skyrim on the PS3, PS4, and the Switch. Also bought Xenoblade chronicles on the WII, 3DS, WIIU and Switch. Lots more and to many to name hahaha. But anyway, nice upload. I enjoyed watching it, till next time.

I wanted to buy Diablo 3 on Switch, but the excuse why they wouldn't make both a Link costume AND a Ganondorf costume was just stupid, because the Link costume looked fucking badass.

I bought Secret of Mana for Wii Virtual console, then got the remake for PS4, then got it as part of the SNES classic library and theeeen as part of Collection of Mana.
I bought Minecraft on Xbox 360, then bought it on XBox One, after selling the XBone got it for Switch, then got the Java version because apparently I like spending money on the same thing.

I love this game! I’ve beat it twice trying to complete all the shrines and beat it in master mode as well. I’ve beat the champions ballad too and that was amazing!
I’ve been playing it on and off since I got it but playing it a lot more lately, I’ve conquered all four beasts, got the master sword and Hylian shield as well as the Dark Link outfit. I’m soon going to beat Ganon. Then I might play Ghost of Tsushima to tide me over until BotW2 comes out
I’m guilty of buying games multiple times... Diablo 3 is for sure one of my top of the list . You should try Helldivers , it’s another one I’ve bought on my Ps3 , vita and PS4. I wish they’d transfer it to the switch ! Probably why I still have a PSvita :)

Diablo 3 is a game I have to own I love the game. I wish They made more games like it. Ghost is good but I get bored. Borderlands is a franchise I keep buying to ! Love your video's your a beautiful person also.

I’ve been playing bug fables instead of paper Mario: you should check it out it’s a lot like the first two paper Mario games.
Honestly, I haven't played Diablo 3 since I got the platinum trophy on PS4 earlier this year. I ended up moving on to Torchlight 2 after that. But every now and again, i'll hop back in and go for Seasonal rewards on D3 just for the fun of it if I think they suit my Necromancer (main build) aesthetic. Here's hoping that the rumor of a Diablo 2 remaster comes true.
