Thank you for showing Jackie Isard's book. It looks fantastic. I love the technical. Have just ordered a copy of the print book; it will go extremely well with the botany classes I am doing to help me understand plants. Now I will have the perfect combination that will help me to further experiment in painting, and appreciate the natural world. I have also purchased two other books, in the past, from your book reviews. Thank you for such thorough reviews. I follow Billy Showell in her online membership classes. Her eradicator is superb for those little things.
Beautiful book, I always love your reviews! I haven't tried sennelier's watercolours. In the past I haven't been a fan of paint with honey in it. However I think Teoh mentioned that Jackson's tube colours were a rebrand from sennelier. I haven't verified this but thought it would be interesting to try them side by side. Have a great day!
Thank you, Alyona, I have downloaded the book on my Kindle. If I truly like it, I will get the paperback. Reading on Kindle using my mini IPad makes it so easy for bedtime reading as it is small enough to hold and I get no reflections from my bedside lamp!
I just bought it and flipped through it briefly. It has TONS of information... more of a reference guide as it would take you months to read it cover to cover. I would love to hear others impressions. The reviews on Amazon were mostly five stars so I couldn’t resist!
